As an avid runner, I always have some sort of muscular imbalance, back or hip problem, or even foot issue. Every single time they have taken care of me and got me back to running. There have been times I've gone in limping and 2-3 visits later, I'm back to running my regular training. Aside from them solving the problem and getting to the root issues, they are just nice guys and always willing help. The consulting room, number 1, had a truly disgusting odor, not sure whether or not it was useless Brady's BO but I was glad to make a hasty exit. Thankfully my own wonderful chiropractor returned from vacation and I was able to get the adjustment which I been having for many years. There maybe other chiropractors there who are more competent than Brady but, unless you're super desperate I'd suggest going elsewhere.

Research what happened to them after they got surgery from Dr Meyers. I got core muscle surgery at Vincera 10 years ago after seeing Dr Meyers. He told me it would take 6-8 weeks to heal. I did everything they asked me to do but it was very clear they didn't care about me because I wasn't an influential athlete. My physical therapist was either still in training or had just finished. I also told them several times my legs weren't healing the way I thought they would but no one seemed to care. I was in so much pain the next 3 years it hurt to get out of my bed or out of my car. It is now 10 years later and I still have to do pt 3 days a week and dry needling once a week to be a fraction of the person I was before. The nonchalance and medical neglect of this entire staff has negatively impacted my entire life for what will be over a decade. Thanks for ruining my life.

I stopped therapy with the intention of going back when I felt better. I still have a problem. Five months after I started Vincera decided to send me a bill for $551.14. I was told from the beginning my insurance would cover the therapy, I paid the $40 co-pay for each visit. I thought this was normal. The extra $551.14 really makes me angry.

I have been seeing Shane McCann, DC of South Jersey Sports Chiropractic for various sports related aches, pains and injuries on and off since the Fall. Shane's primary goal when treating his patients is to keep them in (or getting them back to) their sport. He takes his time listening to your complaints, and asks a lot of questions about your training and what is bothering you. He is not the type of doctor to just tell you to stop running (or whatever) unless that is truly warranted. He takes his time treating the injury, not the symptoms. I always walk out of his office feeling better than when I had walked in. I have learned a great deal about the mechanics of my body and how the body reacts to training in my sport. I would highly recommend him to any athlete.

I tend to be someone who typically goes to the doctors office when plagued by an issue, although now I find myself checking out alternative therapies more like acupuncture, chiropractic, meditation, etc. I also was a bit fearful of needles when I initially came here after a traumatic experience before a surgery, but I'm thrilled that my fear has really dissipated thanks to acupuncture! I now relax and lay back when the needles are being put in and I'm really amazed because recently I had to get a lot of blood drawn and I just relaxed, held my arm out and went to my Zen like place, which is really great! Before acupuncture, I would have been much more anxious and on edge. I not only have arthritis in my knee, which is my primary reason for coming to acupuncture but I also have chronic pain- a condition which affects the body with widespread pain and tenderness called fibromyalgia, which is a misunderstood and baffling illness. So, I'm coming to Healing Arts for both! I would much rather have a Zen like afternoon catnap where I can relax that take lots of medications. I may not be able to completely avoid the latter but whatever I can do holistically and naturally will definitely be my preference. While I may not ever be cured of these conditions completely, knowing that acupuncture can really help me manage my symptoms is invaluable! It's a great way of coping, a huge tool in my toolbox of coping strategies and I would personally much rather have acupuncture any day than get injections and have to take lots of pills. I tend to come about once a month and the first couple of times I noticed some soreness but I have found much better results as I keep going. Occasionally a little bruise or soreness may occur but the pain relief, motion and relief from stiffness in joints is really amazing and awesome! My knee feels much better after going this 3rd time, much more movement when it was pretty stiff. They also have a Yelp deal, check in offers and all in all is a relaxing experience- chill out on a massage bed with pillows, calming music, refreshing scents, dim lighting and yes, some privacy too from the Shoji screens. I have had 3 practitioners- Margaret, Holly and Steve, I thought they were all good, I prefer Steve but they were all good. I'll be back!

I accidentally came in a week early for appointment after writing it down wrong (oops!) but the staff at HACA were so kind and accommodating despite it being completely my mistake, and were able to fit me in for a great session. The place was really well set-up with rugs, heaters, and screens to separate patient treatment areas that are all within the same large room. Holly Prescott was the practitioner that day and she did a great job asking what I was there for and then placing needles so gently I hardly felt them. It's rare that I slip into the deep, almost sleep-like relaxation I felt during this treatment, but I was so completely relaxed that it came easily. Thanks for the great session Holly!

At this point I could barely walk, I needed a cane to take a few steps. Utilizing hot and cold packs, as well as electrical tens stimulation. I can say my right shoulder finally lost its fight against the chiropractic therapy. Its now 90% better. I've returned for my stenosis and crushed and disintegrated spinal issues.
