I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Nourmand. I've been dealing with a pretty bad muscle strain for 5 months. Diagnosed by an orthopedic surgeon, and visited two PTs, all of whom couldn't find the exact issue with me nor provide proper treatment. Dr. Nourmand relieved 90% of my pain in 15 minutes. I'm a serious cyclist... Okay, cycling addict is a better description. I live for my time on the bike. In December, I began having serious pain in my right shoulder. It was so bad I had to stop riding. I found a chiropractor near me who did the usual rack and crack stuff as well as some deep tissue massage. After three weeks, I was not improving. Worse, I was having serious withdrawl symptoms from lack of riding. I was getting demoralized. I decide to look up Dr. Nourmand. I'd gone to him years before when I was a semi-professional ballet dancer. It had been a long time and I was thrilled to see he was still practicing. Dr. Nourmand got me in to see him the same day and within a few moments had accurately diagnosed my issue - damage to the muscles in the rotator cuff. Scary. Other doctors would recommend surgery, an ugly prospect which would have kept me off the bike for months. But Dr. Nourmand is NOT other doctors. He immediately got to work, breaking up damage in the muscles of the shoulder and started retraining my muscles to work properly again. I visited Dr. Nourmand a couple of weeks ago for a back pain that I had. When I arrived at the office I was greeted by the receptionist and was offered something to drink while I was waiting for the doctor. My appointment was at 11.30 and the doctor actually saw me right on time. Minimal waiting time. What I really liked about this doctor, is the fact that he listen and pays attention to your situation and tells you exactly what it takes to eliminate pain. Doctor diagnosed me and told me that it will be, at times, painful and that I need to commit to become better. He told me that he would like to see me between 6-9 times for treatment. I'm now going for my 6th treatment and I have to honestly say that I do not have back pain anymore. I'm extremely happy and this doctor does wonders.
