Everyone who works there is pleasant and helpful. I am currently being treated for chronic muscle stiffness in my neck and lower back due to an unbalanced body structure from cancer surgery. Christina gives really good and helpful massages, but that's the only positive. The staff was late to take me every time I had an appointment, one time I was told they were late because they were taking a nap (!?) Twice in a row I was given a massage but no exercises to do, without being given a reason why. Overall, my main issues was that the staff was inattentive and disorganized. read more

Due to my debilitating neck/shoulder to low back pain, I was left an old, old lady that I don't want to accept. After the first session with Christina, about 70% pain was gone. I found Studio Brava via my insurance company's website and was really impressed by the bios of Cristina, the owner/founder and lead PT, and the other staff. She is a former athlete who has also worked through her own injuries as well as helped many others across a wide range of age groups. The studio is as bright and airy as it appears online, and it's a warm and welcoming place to come to. It's not dry and clinical. Everyone who works there is pleasant and helpful. I am currently being treated for muscle stiffness in my low back and hip area, along with some inflammation in my wrist. Cristina focuses on manual therapies (i.e. soft tissue), and applies ultrasound, cold laser and electrical stimulation according to what she believes require stimulation. She has also spoken to me about the need for the right type of mattress and how I sleep at night so that I don't end up causing further pain. I see the Studio also offers other therapies like far infrared heat depending on the patient's specific needs, and their physical therapists work with patients on a range of exercises to help them rehabilitate using a variety of equipment. There are 2 other PT's on staff who I will be working with shortly, as well as a massage therapist. And I hear that they will be offering various group exercise classes there soon... So far my treatment is going very well, and I appreciate her care and her concern about how these areas are healing and progressing. read more

Cured my neck and right shoulder pain in 4 sessions. I had a serious neck and right shoulder pain that lasted for more than a month. I tried stretching and exercising but did not see any improvement, so I tried Studio Brava PT. First impression, the office is clean, well-lit, and well-equipped with PT equipment. Cristina and Ani are wonderful! I'd never had any PT services before, but I had a minor knee injury that wouldn't heal. My doctor suggested I try PT to see if they could give me exercises or stretches to strengthen my knee. My first day I just expected to go in and they would just tell me to do lunges or something (haha). Cristina greeted me and asked me for a brief history and what was bothering me. She examined my knee and ask me to do a few moves to assess my injury. After that she explained what my injury was and the plan for me. My doctor thought I shouldn't need more than a few sessions but they are on top with billing and getting more days approved if you need it. My sessions typically included massaging, cupping (yes on my knee!), electrical pulsing, and some exercises. But it just depends on your injury and what you need. After 5 sessions my knee feels no pain and tightness! I went in 2x a week. I was pleasantly surprised as I'd been trying to nurse it on my own for 4 weeks prior. Definitely go here for any PT work! They are very friendly and knowledgeable. It's a comfortable environment. They are pretty flexible with scheduling as well. read more

I was referred to this PT studio by a dear friend and this place... it's above and beyond all expectations! Firstly, the owner, Cristina, is a top notch professional - along with all of her staff. Maya at the front desk is fabulous and also a great trainer. I went there due to some hip pain and as well as recently having a tendon pull in my calf. Both times I was treated as if i was the most important client they had! They literally bend over backwards to make sure you receive the treatment you need for whatever ails you, and the entire staff are extremely knowledgable about physiology, cause and effect, pinpointing areas that need the most attention and then delivering a comprehensive menu of treatments that make you know you are in good hands! The studio is clean, modern and has the latest technology and machines as well as physical therapists who spend the time to get to know the client and then treat each patient as an individual. No cookie cutter solutions here - these folks are the real deal. They also have events and special classes for those who want to take their fitness to another level once they heal. After I finally decided I should go to pt (don't wait like I did!), Faraz examined my injury and began treatment. After only a few sessions, I could feel a huge improvement in my pain. A few months back, I started having some pretty bad tendonitis wrist pains from my desk job, and my PCP recommended I go to Studio Brava as she had nothing but good things to say. After a few months of going, she's absolutely right, it was a pleasure to be treated by Cristina and her team! Cristina and her team were very personable, always making good conversation as she proceeded with treatments. For tendonitis pains, we went through a range of treatments, from laser treatments, to electrodes, through focused massages and wrist exercises. Depending on the severity of the pain that week, we alternated or did all of those at once per session. Cristina really tailors the treatment plan based on you and your pain, so in my case we had started with twice a week treatments then slowly tapered to once a week as the pain got better. Eventually after a few months, I was fully treated and she just sent me home to keep doing wrist exercises with weights to prevent this in the future. All in all, I was very satisfied with Studio Brava, would highly recommend them to anyone! read more

Earlier this year I had a rough ski injury that resulted in a torn ACL, MCL, MPFL, and meniscus. There was also severe bone bruising and sprained TCL. Surgery was as required, along with a doctors order of 2-3 days of physical therapy per week. I am so grateful that my insurance plan covers Studio Brava! I have now worked with almost all the staff here and feel confident that I'm in great hands. They're all very experienced and qualified. Each session is very personalized to each persons specific needs, and the studio offers a diverse amount of exercise equipment and open space. There are even private rooms for massage, stretching, and e-stim. I am now ten sessions in, and completely in awe of my progress since the start of my injury. When I came here I was on crutches barely able to walk, and now I'm fully active and much happier. I took a B board class here with Eric. Booked it through classpass and had a great time! Eric is a very patient and encouraging instructor. The class is really cool and challenging (in a good way). The instructor did a great job of teaching me how to properly get on and off the board, and how to be stable while on it. It was a good mix of stretching, balance, yoga, and even some more challenging moves that made me break a real sweat - it's definitely a proper workout with restorative elements. Can you imagine looking forward to going to physical therapy? It can happen. Studio Brava is a delightful space with personable therapists who, by the way, reduced the pain in my knees by about 75% after two months of twice-a-week 45-minute sessions. Cristina, the founder and a veteran certified PT, is also a force of nature with an eye for art and design who created a spacious, multi-room environment with music, lighting, and wall hangings more often experienced in an upscale contemporary restaurant than in a PT center. I had a feeling I was in good hands (pun intended) when my thorough new-patient interview by my PT Faraz lasted 30 minutes. Faraz used not only a full array of therapies to relive my knee pain but also went beyond that issue to address my slumped posture, mediocre agility, and poor balance. My acupuncturist recommended Studio Brava and I've been going for a couple of months. My scoliosis and other spine issues cause the muscles to cramp up. Wow, what a difference after getting the treatments, especially the hands on manipulation, plus ultra-sound, cupping, and electrodes. I am now able to get around without a cane, which is so freeing. Following a car crash where our car was hit from behind, I have had complex multiple issues from a neck concussion to vestibular, visual and vertigo issues! Cristina has been extremely compassionate, patient and knowledgeable in regard to the various modalities and treatments, I need to deal with the nuanced pain and mobility issues I am having! She has a healing touch and knows exactly where to manipulate in order to alleviate my ongoing pain and stiffness! I had early onset, osteoporosis and she is sensitive to my exact needs that are ever changing as I heal! Recently, Cristina welcomed Dr. Faraz Sadighim, to her practice! After extensive interviewing, she made a very wise choice in choosing him to join her highly professional staff! He has a fantastic hands on technique and I will see them both, going forward! He is knowledgeable, warm and compassionate and also has an intuitive touch! They both have given, great at home exercises and advice as well! Blake, the sports, exercise and massage therapist, continues to do deep fascia relief treatments that have really helped my various aches, pains and nuanced health issues. He also has me do uniquely personalized stretches during the session to increase mobility as does Dr. Faraz and Cristina. I got into a car accident on 1/29/2018 and severely tweaked my lower back, causing random shooting pains that were best described as mini lightening strikes. Painkillers only mask the problem so my physician father recommended I try physical therapy. I resisted because I always thought PT was lame. Turns out I was the lame one because PT works! Or at least it works at Studio Brava. Cristina (owner) and Ani ("adopted" co-owner) make Studio Brava a bright, welcoming, therapeutic environment. My first session was with Cristina; immediately afterwards the severity and frequency of my back problem started to subside. I had about 7-more treatments, all with Ani except another one with Cristina. I stopped going because they did such an incredible job. Ani taught me a variety of stretches to do on my own to loosen the muscles, which I do to this day.
