I started coming here for physical therapy after getting injured during a Muay Thai competition, and I've had a really positive experience so far. Mahir was my first physical therapist, and later I switched to Jason because I had scheduling conflicts and availability. Both have been great to work with. Jason has especially helped me rebuild my confidence in my knee and gradually get back into the sports and activities I enjoy. I've noticed a big improvement not only in my strength, but also in how comfortable I feel moving, training, and trusting my body again. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating when it comes to scheduling. The new facility is also really nice, and there's plenty of parking, which makes appointments a lot more convenient. What I appreciate most is that the rehab hasn't just been about doing basic exercises; they've worked with me toward actually returning to sports and making sure I'm progressing safely. I've been able to get back to being much more active, and my confidence has improved a lot since I first started. I've been dealing with plantar fasciitis for about five years. It first started in one foot for a couple of years, then eventually appeared in my other foot, leaving me with plantar fasciitis in both feet at the same time. During that time, I tried just about everything under the sun--gym workouts, cortisone injections, PRP therapy, stretching, TENS therapy, myofascial massage, Graston scraping, countless YouTube videos, and a limited number of basic physical therapy sessions allowed by my healthcare provider. While some of those provided temporary relief, nothing solved the problem. Exhausted, discouraged, and out of options, I finally decided to get some proper physical therapy with Victory Performance. Since I've started, I've been really impressed with Victory's friendly, easy-going atmosphere. Everyone is always welcoming, and it just feels like a place where people genuinely care about helping you get better. My physical therapist, David, has been fantastic--knowledgeable, easy to talk to, answers all my questions, and is genuinely invested in helping me recover. After my initial evaluation, he identified that one side of my lower body was significantly weaker than the other, causing my body to compensate in ways that were contributing to my foot pain. He put together a personalized strengthening program with progress goals that we've been working toward along the way. It's only been a couple of months, but I've already noticed a significant improvement in my feet. 1. INSURANCE : When first contacting the company about physical therapy I was told they accepted insurance. I had my consult and when I asked to confirm if they take insurance, they said they won't bill my insurance and they'd just provide me the paperwork to do it myself. I didn't like that communication was unclear to begin with 2.UNPROFESSIONAL: I mentioned that I wouldn't be able to move forward with them and I'd need to find somewhere else that could bill my insurance. Instead of just accepting that and ending the call, they threw another local Physical Therapy company under the bus and tried to say Victory takes care of their patients better (which seems really unprofessional in my opinion) 3. I rarely write any reviews, but my experience at Victory has been so great that I really wanted to. Coming out of a difficult injury/elbow surgery, I spoke with several other PTs, but everything about Victory has felt different. First of all, they bring the whole team - multiple members of the staff really seem to feel invested in me and my success. There is a "vibe" inside of their facilities that makes the whole process feel a combination of warm, social, fun but also challenging. Specifically - Jason Zeidman has been my PT and has been a massive part of that. He stands out very significantly relative to a lot of people I spoke to before selecting Victory. He very much understands whats going on both from a medical perspective as well as practical perspective, and challenges me without pushing me too far. Most notably, he has intellectual curiosity and care - in between sessions I will find that he has spent time thinking about my case in his off time, researching, and thinking about new ideas/approaches that can help. The time I've spent here has drastically improved my healing progress for my right hamstring. Victory Performance has a bunch of specialist that pay attention and curate specialized programs that fitted my need for getting back into martial arts. My Physical therapist, Mahir, first assessed my physical strength in both my legs, and found an imbalance that I was compensating on my left more than my right. I came to Victory to see if they can help me fix some long term injuries that have prevented me from running and biking the past year. In the 5 months since I started seeing them, they've fixed me up and have me feeling stronger and more coordinated than I have in a long time. I've been working with both Desiree and David, both of who are very knowledgable and are willing to answer any and all questions I have regarding my injuries and the treatment plan. As far as the location itself goes, it's very trendy and well kept. They have a parking lot that always has spots available. All of the other staff are also great and make you feel like you're part of a team. They are not the cheapest option when it comes to PT, but I think the results that I've seen are definitely worth it. I've been working with Jared for a few sessions, and have really been enjoying Victory! I love that the exercises he gives me are unique from what I've done before in PT, that he explains how they help, and that he progresses them when he sees I can do more. I came to rehab an injury and become a stronger long-distance runner, and after every session, I feel more confident to increase my mileage pain-free. I came to Victory because of a dance injury and I was specifically looking for PT that could help dancers. Jared was great at helping me recover and improve as a dancer. He understood the technical dance terms and what I wanted to improve. While training for the LA marathon I developed a shin splint injury in my left leg. The pain was so bad that it was causing me to skip most of my planned runs. I'd been dealing with lower back pain for many years but never sought help because it usually got better with regular gym and boxing workouts, but last November after a vacation, it suddenly progressed to feelings of numbness down my right leg whenever I'd lay down for bed and my workout routines no longer helped with the regular pain I felt. I had a PT session referral with Kaiser in February but was discharged the same day with two exercises and tips for using a pillow when I sit, as well recommendation to work on my core. I also went to a friend who was a physical therapist for two sessions and she gave me some exercises, but advised for me to stop my regular boxing and gym sessions until I was better. The pain didn't get worse or better, but I was starting to feel weaker overall since I stopped working out and felt a loss of what to do. I yelped a bunch of places one night out of desperation and am thankful I found Victory PT! The intake phone call was great - I spoke with Santos and he made it clear that this is something they could help with, and I was scheduled for eval with Mahir right away. Mahir helped me understand that I was much weaker on my right side and encouraged me to start pilates during the eval so I signed up for a studio that same week, and he also set me up on their app which showed me what exercises to do and I can record my progress. I had some fear with getting back to exercising but he was very encouraging, then each session I could share with him what poses were triggering from pilates, then we'd work on something similar but controlled. Sometimes I'd run into other issues like upper back stiffness, or pain when I practiced cello, but I could always bring it up and our workout would be adjusted to ease those symptoms. In addition to my regular workout in the app, Mahir also set me up with a stretch routine that I can follow on a different day. I'm happy to say that after 3 months my symptoms have been significantly reduced and when I start to feel discomfort I know it's likely from poor posture and now know what to do to ease the pain! I started coming to Victory when my back went out and I was still somewhat mobile and able to drive. Every time I would come Jared, my PT, was so great at making me feel welcome and comfortable even though I was in pain. I would always leave feeling better than I came. Sadly, I ended up needing back surgery (I had let my pain get too bad for too long). My surgery went well and Victory held onto my credits so I could come back months later to use them for recovery. I kept them updated throughout and they even checked in with me to see how I was doing. Every time I go in to the space I am welcomed warmly and there is a familial feeling in the space and with the people who work there that feels cozy. Jared always knows EXACTLY where the tension is in my body when I walk in and can pin point it right away, providing deep pin pointed massage before we do our exercises. I always leave feeling stronger, more stable and relaxed. I've been to other PTs that give good exercises but are not as friendly or they give you the same exercise week after week. Every time I go to Victory I feel like Jared always gives me some new exercises to build off the old ones which inevitably has lead to progress (as a skateboarder I want to get back to skating as soon as I can!). They also have an app that you use to track your exercises and where they add the new ones so you can access it anytime anywhere. (This is helpful when traveling or on the go). I truly am grateful that I was recommended this place. They can be pricey but, honestly, I have felt that they give you the service you pay for and they are happy to find a package that works for you. I have had no regrets coming here and, in fact, I want to add sessions bc I am not ready to leave yet! I seriously enjoy coming in every time. Also side note: I love the space! They get so much bright light. They have a parking lot so parking is free and they offer coffee after your session if you want, along with an awesome heat pad (at least in my case since it was my back). They have some cozy couches in the entrance for you to sit and relax on if you arrive early or need to chill a bit after and there is always some fun movie playing above the front desk. It's such an accessible spot with the best people I've met in a PT office that I had to leave a review so others would know how awesome they are! read more
