Dr Ross was kind enough to see me next day for a root canal evaluation for a very painful molar I was having issues with. He was kind and honest enough to say that while he certainly COULD do a root canal for me, that it would probably not last and it would be much less expensive and more advantageous for me to simply get it pulled. He took his time explaining this to me, spent close to twenty minutes giving me recommendations for an oral surgeon and his rationale for not having me do the procedure at his office. I was so thankful for his honesty in not trying to get me in for what would have been a $1500 procedure and an additional heavy charge trying to get fitted for a crown. This office is warm, welcoming, and the staff were incredible in the way they alleviated my nerves and took care of me. They will be moving locations soon due to their office building being bought out, and I hope I have no need of endodontic work anytime soon again, but if I do I would certainly return to this practice if I do.

I received this Bill with a colorful past due sticker not even 30 days after the procedure! very disturbing after the amount of Money that is already paid, to receive a bill! I was given an insurance estimate and told that there was a $325.00 scan that would be done of my head that is not covered by the insurance. I told the staff during the call I did not want this. On the day of the visit they did it anyways. They also did numerous x-rays of the tooth. I was billed for the scan and the insurance did not cover it! I received an updated bill for another $190 evaluation amount. I have been gathering my paperwork to refute the $325.00 and received a collection notice. I called the office to discuss. I was told today that if I did not do the scan the DDS would not have treated me!! I asked why was I not told about this on the original call. And, there is an issue with my bridge and I need a new one. So this office is billing patients for a service that is NOT approved by the insurance. If they are doing x-rays why do they need a scan of your whole mouth when they are working on pone tooth? Not happy and will not go here again or recommend this office.

Outside of getting use to the various smells that the procedure produced, my experience was that this was easier than having a cavity filled. Dr. Philip Cabrera was wonderful; he was thoughtful and clear with his communication. I have a rare sensory disorder that his team attended to with care and compassion. As it turns out, I cracked the tooth right down the center like a log. Dr. G gave me some options. One of which was a referral to a specialist for a dental implant. I decided not to go this route and opted to try to save the tooth. The 1st step was a temporary crown. I had this done yesterday. I've got to tell you with the amount of time that he spent with me custom of making a temporary crown out of acrylic, versus what he charged me, he didn't make a dollar! He spent well over an hour crafting this tooth and getting it just right. Today I am experiencing absolutely no pain and the temporary crown fits like a glove. I'm very happy. I will be going back in a month for a permanent crown.
