24 hours early and loving it! LOL Yes, thats rights folks, I thought my 8AM appointment was today/Monday alas, is is actually tomorrow/Tuesday. As I was awaiting the staff to arrive, Angel approached my vehicle as I sat in the parking lot with her ultra-beaming smile and said: "Your appointment is tomorrow... Sorry". I checked my notes and by golly, she was correct! "Better to be 24 hours early than 10 minutes late?" I quipped. 3 Hours round trip from Oakland? Made an appointment for the kids they called and rescheduled. I was really clear with the front desk that I would have to take additional PTO and that I was really worried about my daughter's tooth after the accident. She expressed understanding and concern. I confirmed my appointment via email. No one called/emailed/texted that they cancelled my appointment. You would think years of patient care would at least mean I got a phone call. I reached out to a new dentist since Dr. Frey's office no longer takes Dental Dental. The front desk cancelled my appointment since I requested records. So I showed up with PTO used, kids out of school same concerns for my daughters tooth- , no. The appointment was cancelled. I think this was petty maliciousness since they're losing so many Delta Dental patients. The dentist and hygienists were always friendly. read more

Dr. Frey has provided excellent care in the two years I have been going to him. I am blessed with good health but not blessed with good teeth. Mark has placed four crowns for me, three for implants, one to replace an old crown. All were accomplished with minimal discomfort - something I had not experienced with prior dental issues. Last week he responded quickly to treat an abscess. Yesterday, I needed another quick response for my X-rays to be sent to a periodontist. Within two hours he and his efficient staff complied! I live two hours from Santa Rosa, but the care he and his team provide is well worth the time I spend to receive it! read more

I can't say enough positive things about this office. For example, I chipped a took this afternoon. I called Dr. Fret's office and Holly said I could come in today, in a few hours to have the doctor see me and smooth down the edges and determine if more needed to be done. I went in; Dr. Frey smoothed down the edges; he discussed with me other options. Together we decided not to do more. My bill was $3.80. I handed the billing agent, Angel what I thought was 4 dollar bills. She handed one back to me because I'd given her 5. I walked out impressed with these wonderful, professional, honest people. I had a bad experience here. I give this dentist a rating of ZERO stars. Not for those who prefer gentle dentistry. The tooth in question sustained a crack (I heard it) during the procedure and subsequently became a failed tooth requiring extraction. I do not recommend this dentist. (end of review) read more

Dr Frey performed teeth whitening today. Although I have had this procedure done before, the technology has changed tremendously. There was a lot of preparation in isolating the gums and certain teeth to protect them from the gel application. Dr Frey did the majority of the three rounds of whitening. And I would say I am at least 3 shades lighter. Very pleased. I also was given trays made from impressions taken of my upper and lower teeth so I can continue with whitening using the kit provided. read more

Had my appointment at two. Texted that I had arrived at 1:52. They answered and said they would text my in five minutes. They did. Had to wear a mask and answer the regular questions about Covid. Got right in and my hygienist ( I forget her name ) was very friendly and sat me right down and cleaned my teeth with no discomfort. Noticed I had a chip on my back tooth ( which I was going to ask about) took a picture of it for the next visit. Fortunately, since I am moving out of state in a couple of weeks, they fit me in for an appointment to fix that tooth on the 29th. Great service and friendly people. read more

I had a very traumatic dental experience 20 years ago and couldn't bring myself to get back to the dentist.. So when I finally did I felt comforted by the fact that a friend recommended Dr.Mark Frey. He and his office did not disappoint.. After my first visit I went back to get some cavities taken care and was amazed! Complete Pain Free Dentistry!! I have never had that happen before. I just moved to Sonoma County in September 2016. February 2017 I had an excruciatingly painful tooth thing happening, I thought it might be a root canal situation. It had been a long time since I had been to the Dentist, and now I was in desperate need of one. A friend recommended Dr. Mark Frey (she & her family had been going to him for 10 years), I phoned the office and they got me in right away. Like many people, I'm afraid of dental work, but Dr. Mark and his staff were amazing! They were empathetic to my fears and put me at ease every step of the way. I recently got over to see Dr. Frey "in the chair" after having known him for awhile through a dental professional organization we have in common. The experience was first-rate all the way through. His staff are all wonderful people to a one, and that tells me that there are good and consistent hiring practices going on over there. The hygienist who saw me, Nicky, was both friendly and competent and got my teeth cleaned quickly which was appreciated. She also gave me a customized regimen (one that I'd actually be willing to follow...) to further improve my dental health and make future cleaning visits even easier. Dr Frey was up next. He answered all of my questions and helped me to make some important decisions I'd been putting off for probably 10 years.. He also caught something pretty major that my previous dentist had someone completely missed. Once we get the basic maintenance stuff out of the way over the next month or two, I'll be talking to Dr. Frey about some cosmetic procedures to make my pearly whites even whiter and straighter. read more
