She was so quick and efficient! I was out in 35 min total! And no pain, very little discomfort, no sore ness afterwards, I could have dinner well. I hadn't been feeling very good the previous week and it turned out my tooth had become badly infected. I texted for help on Thursday evening and I was seen at 8:45am the next morning and made it to work on time. I was given antibiotics and was told it needed to be worked on asap and scheduled me for Monday. I was not looking forward to a weekend of pain but Monday was better than any other office could or would have scheduled me. Saturday morning Dr Bashti calls me and says he thinks I should come in right then and take care of it. Less than 2 hours later he has my infected tooth pulled the tooth next to it repaired and taken care of. It's been a week since the work was done and my jaw was hardly sore the last week and I'll be chewing away good as new very soon. I've seen this dentist a handful of times over the last 7 years and can't recommend him enough. This was the first time I saw other patients in the office and it was clear that they also were very pleased with their treatment and grateful to him for his care. I am a wimp when it comes to mouth pain and other than the initial novocaine shot it was painless. I didn't even have time to worry he did the work so quick. While I wish I never had to see another dentist again, I know that I will definitely have to many more times in my life and I feel like I'm in good hands as long as Priceless Dental is still around.

Last week, when trying to call in, I wasn't able to get through - so I emailed about the fact that my upper tooth had filling completely fall out. Through email the dentist was able to set up the appointment with me Kiara and I was able to keep that appointment this past Monday. At the appointment, even though she wasn't dealing well with the Internet, she gave me amazing service in my fuse with patch in no time. I can't say enough about going here, and I'm glad I found them when we moved here.

I had no cavities or any real problems but she still managed to project horror at the state of my perfectly fine teeth. At check out the office assistant told me I needed to book a 4 appointment round of scaling and root planing--which was not discussed during my visit other than the doctor saying "you could develop gum disease" not that there were any signs of it at the time. I booked the appointments but it didn't feel right. Why do invasive procedures on healthy gums? I canceled the appointments and didn't go back. 10 years later I'm extremely happy because I have no gum disease and haven't had as much as a cavity since that appointment. Sometimes invasive dental work can cause much more harm than good if not needed. And why be so condescending about a perfectly healthy mouth? None of it makes sense. I would advise everyone to steer clear of this practice unless they have made major changes.

And yes, I know the…read moreword "pleasure" is rarely associated with dentistry or oral surgery but, in Dr. Tyco's case, we'll just have to make an exception. Should you select Santa Rosa Oral Surgery for a procedure you'll find easy access and ample (usually door front) parking. Reception is very efficient and pleasant to deal with. Reception room is pleasant as well but you won't be there long. All my visits have found SROS to be very timely. First visit is meeting your doctor for a concise analysis of what procedure you need, informing you of just what that procedure entails, while ending with staff lining up any insurance you may have and giving you your next appointment. During the actual procedure I had forgotten how many assistants are used and was momentarily afraid that they were there to hold me down! Hah! Hardly. Extremely efficient, each person has their duties and the process is the proverbial well oiled machine with Dr Tyco explaining each step along the way. As quick and painless a dental procedure as I've ever had. A prescription for pain meds was provided but unnecessary. All I felt was a bit of sensitivity for a couple days. Just as my first visit. After the healing process it was one last visit to confirm a successful graft and I was done! Dr Tyco and his staff are the kind of professionals you want...and deserve! No question who I want should the need for oral surgery arise again. It will certainly be Santa Rosa Oral Surgery and Dr. Tyco.

He immediately recommended a tooth to be pulled even prior to really talking to me as to why I was there and taking x-rays. I brought x-rays with me ,7 months old. He looked at them briefly and was not interested to compare them to the x-rays he was going to take himself. Also, I had to indicate to him to scroll further in x-RAY FILE as he was just glancing at actually images from 2019 that were in the file also. He muttered that I should be at an endodontist - which I agree with potentially, but this was our first appt and conceivably I need a check up, cleaning, new x-rays and a treatment plan and his referral. He seemed flustered from the get-go about his own system of culling appropriate pts into his practice. That has nothing to do with me! He appeared to be training a dental assistant and while he was doing so, left instruments in my mouth for wayyyy too long - I managed this 2-3 times and then I indicated I am uncomfortable and his body language and deep exhalations indicated frustration with both the trainee and myself the pt. When I tried to explain he cut me off, saying something which was not discernible - when asked for clarification he escalated and threw his arms in the air.....REALLY - this behavior in a dentist office -- good god man - get a grip and some professionalism -- or perhaps a mood stabilizer. Even the trainee and clerk were wide eyed about the entire episode. He was rude, rigid, difficult to communicate with, no attention to detail or managing pt comfort and needs.

I am beyond grateful to have found Dr. Heather Anderson, and the caring and capable team at Fountaingrove Dentistry. Dr. Anderson is intelligent, highly skilled, open, warm, and humble; what a combo! When I moved to Santa Rosa, I needed to find a skillful dentist right away. Despite diligent and daily oral health care, my teeth had been progressively deteriorating over many years of eating a diet full of sugar, acid reflux and tension causing nightly teeth grinding. Even after wearing a night guard for years, my teeth were progressively wearing away. My dentist in Chicago gave me little hope for restoring my teeth. She told me that soon, I would need root canals, implants or crowns. I didn't want to lose my natural teeth. I had nightmares about this. On my first visit to Fountaingrove Dentistry, a full evaluation was done of my dental health, including photos and measurements of gum health. From there, hope turned into trust when I began regular 6-month dental cleanings with gentle and skilled dental hygienists. At each visit, they taught me how to more effectively care for my oral health. Dr. Anderson monitored my progress and understood my desire to take a conservative approach in any kind of dental treatment. I had several cavities filled successfully during this time. Still, after 4 years of regular check ups, since I had lost enamel, my teeth had become so worn down that I was at the point of no return. Action was needed. Dr. Anderson said she had spent time thinking about my case and talking with peers and now could recommend a clear and well-designed 8-month plan for restoring my teeth, naturally. She said it would work and I believed her! This plan employed wearing Invisalign braces to train my teeth over 8 months into proper position to make space for lengthening each tooth in my mouth with composite material without reducing or removing my natural teeth. In the final phase of the plan, I sat in the dentist chair for 6 hours on each of two days with rest breaks when we needed them. Dr. Anderson and Vanessa, her skillful Assistant, meticulously and with great focus and synchronized teamwork, rebuilt each tooth by hand. Dr. Anderson used special molds of my teeth that were constructed using digital photos to inform ad guide her precise sculpting and selected the correct tooth color for the composite material to match the color of my natural teeth. When I first looked at myself in the mirror after Dr. Anderson and Vanessa had finished, I cried, overcome with gratitude and joy. I hadn't realized how I had been hiding my smile and how negatively I had felt about myself for a long time because of how my teeth looked and felt. Dr. Anderson created a masterpiece inside my mouth! My dental make-over is complete. I now have strong, beautiful, straight, naturally protected teeth and a bright and big smile. The entire Fountaingrove Dentistry team was with me on this journey of healing. We all celebrated together. A few days after my dental make-over, a mysterious and magnificent floral arrangement arrived on my doorstep with a heart-felt message from the whole team. Cora, Fountaingrove Dentistry's wonderful Office Manager, had arranged this surprise. Every Fountaingrove Dentistry team member provides quality of care in the way they greet me personally when I arrive, schedule new visits, file my insurance claims, remind me more than once about upcoming appointments, make sure my questions are answered, and always make me feel comfortable. Going to the dentist is never fun, but if you have to go, pick the best. I highly recommend Dr. Erlach of Fountaingrove Dentistry. In my many years on the planet, I have had only two dentists I could recommend. The first retired. I then tried three dentists before I found my new favorite, Dr. Erlach. He has a kind, pleasant and very professional demeanor. He is very gentle in his work and extremely thorough in his procedures. Unlike other dentists I have had, I never feel like I have been run over by a truck after leaving his office. He is picky and takes his time to do the work right. He is not satisfied until it meets his standards which are very high. As an example, he was putting a bridge in my mouth, which seemed fine to me. Instead of just going ahead and getting it done, he said "No, this could be better. You might be happy now, but you won't be in six months. I am going to send this back to the lab to have them redo it." Even though it meant more work on his part, he did it because he knew it could be better. (I probably wouldn't have known, but I appreciate that he was looking out for me). I think that kind of service is rare these days. In addition to the high quality and caring work of Dr. Erlach, I have high praise for his Registered Dental Assistant, Gina Bernal. She is very careful and delicate in her work. And I appreciate that she calmly explains everything that is going to happen. While I am generally stressed about having dental work done, I have literally almost fallen asleep while she has been working on me. Gina is intuitive to my needs (like sucking up saliva before it gets out of hand, or wiping some moisture on my lips when they are dry). She pays close attention to her work and I have always left feeling like I have received the best care possible. If you are in need of a great team for your dental work, I cannot recommend anyone better than these two. read more

I have just completed my case with Dr. Erlach, with an excellent result. My case involved the two front teeth and has been very challenging. I had already been to three other dentists over the past five years to try to have them restored. One of my teeth is an implant and the other one a regular tooth. I was very unhappy with the outcome or input that these other dentists provided, and it had cost me over $30,000 to that point. When I saw Dr. Erlach he was sincere and had the expertise to help me. I knew I was finally in the right office when he made my temporaries. He has the experience and the artistic ability to get a natural look. Also he works with a laboratory who will use the right materials (all porcelain). My charges were under $3,000 to finish my case and it was the first time I had teeth that looked like they were part of me. I found Fountain Grove Dentistry in 1986 when we moved our family to Santa Rosa. Dr. Didier was the first dentist assigned to us and treated our two boys, Pam and myself for fillings and crowns. This was always a very painless and pleasant experience. Gayle Glasnow became our hygienist and she taught us how to care for our teeth properly, avoiding future procedures. Her program has worked well for us and I continue to see Gayle for my oral hygiene. After several years of not requiring dental work, I found myself needing a procedure and I was assigned Dr. Erlach. He proved to be as professional, knowledgeable and caring as the rest of the Fountain Grove staff. This year I required two emergency crown replacements. I saw Dr. Anderson for this and on short notice she and Connie, her dental assistant, got me on my way that very same morning. I now have 4 porcelain veneers that look incredible (and very natural looking) thanks to him!!!! Hes definitely very talanted. And thanks Dr. Anderson that worked on a great invisalign plan, my teeth are now nice and straight!!! I have to say she was very patient with me. The hygienist are also great!!! I found F.D. to be really professional and helpful. I called for a semi-urgent appointment, (broken crown) as a new patient around 3pm on Wednesday. The first available appointment was on Monday, but the next day they called and worked me in around 9:45-10:00. My prior dentist, thought very good and very helpful, could have never done that good and I had been with him for 3 years (had to find a dentist in Santa Rosa). They took excellent care of me and even followed up with a phone call to advise me of my insurance status. The entire staff were all very kind. I just had a crown fall off and had to go get it replaced. Dr Heather Anderson got me right in and determined that there was a cavity under the crown. She designed and made a new crown that feels wonderful...I always thought that it was normal for a new crown to be tender, or even painful, for a while. Dr Anderson also replaced two ugly, large silver amalgams with attractive composite. Three beautiful new teeth were finished in about two hours. I had absolutely no pain whatsoever afterwards, much to my surprise! The new crown is beautiful! Everyone in the office is warm and friendly, and makes the patient feel very welcome and comfortable. This team of professionals has changed my teeth and the health of my teeth over the past 2 years!! I can't thank Dr. Ehrlich, Gayle, Gorgenia, and Cora enough. I have been plagued with genetically poor teeth, and despite caring diligently for my teeth, I had on average 2-4 crowns and yea, and every 6 month check up over the past 9 years I had at least one cavity. I give a very high recommendation for Dr. Erlach and all the staff members at Fountaingrove Family Dentistry. Dr. Erlach is a very conscientious and caring dentist who looks at all aspects of dental care on the patient's behalf. I broke my two front teeth years ago and had a so so repair. I went in to get a crown and veneer done. I saw Dr Anderson and she was great! She was very personable and made me feel very comfortable and in good hands. Her assistant Erin was also very sweet and professional. I have delta ppo so when you visit a ppo provider the dentist agrees to accept an amount that may be less then what is billed and copay calculated before insurance pays. The difference was never adjusted and my question was ignored several times when inquiring. Finally after saying I would contact delta dental professional services Meghan told me they would cut me a check and wasn't sure where the misunderstanding happened. Im sorry you dont just cut someone a $400 check if they aren't understanding billing, you would explain to them. If you have a ppo insurance definitely check your insurance statements vs what you are billed after services provided. Also one time I was blindsided by getting a $500 bill from the office in the mail. Meghan said waiting on insurance payment to ignore it and that she submitted several times, that insurance play games that she's been doing this for 20 years... I called delta dental they said they hadn't received needed documentation and after I sent a text to the office with an email to submit suddenly delta dental paid with in 5 days so Meghan is the one who was playing games. There were a few times where Meghan wasn't honest but plays it off as she knows her sh*t. Unfortunately because of billing/ insurance issues I said I would not longer be going there after finding a dentist i felt comfortable with.

Over the years I have had some really bad dental experiences, and unfortunately, and to my detriment, I have developed "dental phobia". Leaving me without an established dentist when I really needed one. Getting credible recommendations from friends was my first criteria for finding a dentist. I called a few, and not surprisingly I could not get an immediate appointment. Researching online, I found the offices of Andrew McCormick DDS & Austin Griffith DDS, were voted Voted Best Dentist in Santa Rosa by Readers of Bohemian Magazine. I gave them a call, and I was pleasantly surprised to get an appointment the very next day. They have been gracious and accommodating ever since then. On my first visit, Dr. Griffith spent an inordinate amount of time going over my history, and current dental issue. He listened to my concerns including my fears, he was compassionate, kind, and knowledgeable. And as an added plus, he had a great sense of humor! If you are looking for an experienced dentist who takes the time to listen to you, has good communication skills, is thoughtful, and gentle, Dr. Griffith fits the bill. In addition, the dental staff is professional, courteous, and friendly. The office is very clean, and the floor to ceiling windows in the exam room provide a serene view, helping to promote relaxation, in what can be a stressful environment.
