When searching for window repair, other "window companies" resulted in rejection after rejection, as they only service what they installed. What good is that!?!? SO HAPPY I FOUND ROB AT UNBEATABLE! After emailing him via his site, he replied back promptly, even following up with a text message as I was traveling for work and didn't respond. Analyzing my problem was fast and easy. I sent him a picture of the window /crank/control arm, gave him measurements(he actually knew them but wanted to verify), then sent me links to the parts online for a fraction of the price of what local supply stores wanted. I purchased the parts directly(he gave me 3 sites to check inventory and color desired) and only charged labor costs (very reasonable) to fix both windows. His professionalism was off the charts! The windows work better than when we first installed them 17 years ago!!! Can't believe we lived with them working partially for so long. Wish I called /found Rob sooner! We had a budget, and he helped us keep to it, but he really went above and beyond that. Other vendors told us there was no way to keep the 130 year window moldings, but Turab not only helped us keep them, but had so many neat tricks to improve our restoration project. Other vendors just gave us offers against our project scope, but Turab explained to us the dynamics of different windows in different parts of the house and what types worked best and saved us money. He made custom moldings for our cellar windows. He also helped us out to stop a fly tipping incident one day when we were out and not able to deal with it ourselves. And when it was pouring with rain and our basement flooded, he went outside and took a really long and hard look and told us what the problem was. We got it fixed the same weekend and never had issues since.

In December 2019 I decided to do solar which included a new roof. I went with the solar company and during the roof install, 5 layers came off before the new roof was installed. It left a gap between the roof and siding. I called Jeff (3 years later) who came and repaired the siding to meet with the roof free of charge. Im very happy with his company and highly once again recommend his services. My only downfall is not using his company for my roof.

Update on my review: No end of problems with the vinyl siding job J&B Home Improvements did. First…read morenoticed waviness & bubbling 3 months after install. Numerous calls later & they sent a couple workers..who took out a couple panels & nailed them back. . Didn't help..waviness never went away. Then a piece came off ..they first tried blaming other workers...they eventually came to fix..however latest problem hole developed in J channel. Then I noticed that it's not secured on side of J channel w hole & siding can easily blow away with wind. I told them it's bigger problem & its loose! They wanted $1,000 to fix after I paid $12,500 in full day of completion Jan 2019. Jeff Bershad wrote 10 years guaranteed on all labor siding work...so I guess this guarantee worth nothing. When they found out it's bigger problem than just hole in J channel, they said have someone else fix it! I got other opinions from other siding experts & they don't want to touch it because it's J&B responsibility...& they also say it's worst siding job they ever seen. Also that it will blow away with windstorm. Needless to say, I've had to file complaints with Consumers Affairs & BBB ..whom J&B Home Improvements has "F" rating. I hope to prevent someone else losing their hard earned money.
