I had such a wonderful experience with Dr.Nestor and his staff. The office has a very warm and welcoming environment,and everyone truly makes you feel comfortable and cared for. Dr. Nestor is professional , attentive ,truly knowledgeable and takes the time to listen and explain everything clearly. I also want to recognize Judy ,Amy, Dyris , Laura , Ninett, Waleska,Lorena, Raimee, Jill and anyone else I'm sorry if I missed . Who are all incredibly friendly and helpful. I recently had my annual visit with Dr. Nestor and unfortunately, I was disappointed with the quality of care I received. Dr. Nestor lacked any good bedside manner and appeared rushed throughout the entire visit. As a result, I felt that he was not thorough in his examination and did not take the time to listen to my concerns. He also did not care for me to take off my socks and look at my feet for birthmarks not look at my private area or scalp. He really didn't seem like he cared or wanted to do the correct examination. I have been a patient of Dr. Neater for several years and this visit was by far the worst. I felt that he did not take my skin concerns seriously and was dismissive of my questions. Additionally, he did not explain any of his findings or recommendations in detail, leaving me feeling confused and unsatisfied. As a patient, I expect my doctor to take the time to address my concerns and provide thorough care. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Nester fell short of my expectations. I will be looking for a new dermatologist for my future visits. Seems like I was just a number and he needed to hit his quota in order to pay for his fancy watch - seemed like a huge rip off as well as I got the bill and was floored. read more

One of the worst experiences I've ever had with a dermatologist. The entire office had a very "can't-be-bothered" attitude to it. Dr. Nestor came in for less than 5 minutes after I waited over 30 minutes in the waiting room. His bedside manner is nonexistent. Nothing about him is gentle, empathic, or remotely nice. You can tell he doesn't really care about his patients, just money. Save yours, and find a better Dermatologist. If I could give 0 stars I would. read more

I had developed alopecia areata at the young age of 23. I was confused, worried and was at the mercy of google searches to try and figure out what was going on with my hair and body. Dr. Nestor and his staff were amazing in pointing out exactly what was happening, why it was happening and developed a great strategy for my plan to tackle this awful diagnosis. I believe my treatment plan lasted a little over a year, with visits every six weeks for shots in my problem areas. Fast-forward to 7 years... Beware of this dermatology office. I almost never write reviews but after the experience I had here it is only fair that I leave a fair review. I had several skin tags that I wanted checked out, so I looked up Dermatology offices nearby. I unluckily found this one, I asked prior to making an appointment that I would like to get these skin tags checked out and wanted to ensure my appointment would cover that, eagerly to gain a new customer they agreed. after a month I finally got to my appointment, and walked into the room to spend no more than 5 minutes in the examination room, now this was a little disappointing as I asked if the dermatologist would be able to help with the few skin related issues I had. Within the total of 5 minutes about 45 seconds was spent with the actual doctor who had enough time to tell me any of the things I wanted to do would cost money and tried to upsell every situation, but had 0 time to give me any information about something useful for example: I have dandruff and this one one thing I wanted to check, I know I have it and I know there is no cure, I wanted to maybe find out what is causing it (lack of water, too much sun etc... ) some Idea that you would think an expert would have. But when asked he said "nothing" and then left. Okay fine... I get it I can deal with this appointment costing me $40 copay for 0 information and a prescription to something. Here is where the real problems arise. I am asked where do I want my prescription and I say the Walgreen next door. The doctors assistant cared less where I actually wanted it and without asking just sent it to this company that they for sure get kickbacks for referring us to buy from them instead of walgreens. Even told me it was cheaper.... I said thanks but I would like walgreens. They still sent it there and made me believe that I got the prescription in my hand cause she just signed a piece of paper. When I asked is this the prescription she said yes..... I went walgreens to feel like an idiot that i did not have a prescription and it was not sent there.... So a $40 fee ( remember my insurance also pays them so its not $40 its 40 + what my insurance pays for a 5 minute visit and a prescription). This prescription took 3 weeks to get cause the office would not help. I had the walgreens people help me after they felt bad that I had been there trying to pick it up over 5 occasions.. ..2 months later .... I get a second bill for $200 which my insurance covered $130 which btw I was unaware of .... This place is super greedy and will try to overbill however they can to get every possible dollar. I am now being told that there was additional stuff done, when I was not told I would be billed for anything and when the doctor clearly told me what would cost more money but failed to tell me that them touching my head was a $200 fee.... When I called the office manager said "you pay to walk in the door and any thing the doctor does is extra" $175 to walk through a door???? and $200 for the doctor to put his magical hand on your head. to conclude..... If you are looking to be over billed and have to fight with them to be able to pick up the prescription than this is the dermatologist for you. IF not pretty much anyone else is better and will hopefully at least invest a few more minutes to at least speak with you. read more

The doctor diagnosed, and the PA"s treat, they are competent and professional. However, would have liked to see the doctor more often, not just through pictures and when I had an extreme problem!!! Doctor needs to be more hands on, not for only cosmetic dermatology. Very disappointing.!!! read more

Dr. Nestor is an exceptional surgeon. His staff members are amazing they take care of you and very knowledgeable. They make you feel very welcomed. I will definitely be going back and would recommend others to visit his facilities. read more

My wife has been going there for varicose veins. The first treatment went good. The second treatment my wife got burned on 2 spots. We went to see dr nestor. He told us with time the spot will go away. One YEAR later she still has one burned spot left from the laser treatment. Now i am not a dr but his explanation was that because my wife is getting sun in that area that is why the spot is there. Logic tells me it was not there before the treatment. read more

What Dr. NESTOR, let happened tut o my leg. 7 Months to wound centers. Cancer cell. Recommended radiation. Meanwhile after taking biopsy ankle got infected. Was on antibiotics for 10 days and during that time he started the radiation. After 10 days still had infection, back on antibiotic for another 7 days. Continued the radiation, needless to say the radiation was eating my skin away. Dr. Did not care, the nurses did the treatment, he never checked on my ankle. My ankle looked like a hole. Had to go to wound center for seven months. Had to wear a unnabooth. I was in terrible pain most of the time. Dr. Nestor is cut up happy and only cares and the money. read more

I brought my son for treatment of a wart. Dr Nestor and his staff were very professional and informative. They took their time with us and put my son at ease. Excellent staff from front desk to clinical staff. I would recommend Dr. Nestor. read more

I give it a three for three reasons . First the wait time. I waited over an hour just to be seen on both occasions I was there. Second you do see dr Nestor for the first visit but he doesn't even remove the moles/ skin issues his PA does. Third, I know my skin and having the shavings always give me scars so I asked him to do the one with the sutures and he refused. I have never heard such nonsense. So now I have three scars on my back that look horrible. I have had a lot of skin issues removed and never had a dermatologist actually refuse to do it a way that will prevent a scar!!! Ridiculous . His staff is nice to put a kind word in here though. read more

After trying to correct a facial scar I've had since childhood, I chose Dr. Nestor based on his expertise in cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology. Horrific customer service with the office staff. I was a long time patient of Dr. Nestor, however, I'm beyond disappointed with my last visit. Charged $150 for a 10 minute visit with Dr. Nestor (seeing that I waited over an hour to see him) only to get a prescription for an ointment over $200! I tried to contact the office several times to get a cheaper option but never received a call back from their staff. After a frustrating phone interaction with the office manager, my father and I will no longer be visiting Dr. Nestor. Unfortunate customer service ending in poor results. read more

I spent a mere couple of quick minutes with Dr. Nestor who quoted me a price of $150 plus office visit co-pay, for a "cosmetic procedure that would not be covered by insurance." The couple of minute procedure was done by a tech and I thought I paid in full on the day of the service. Several MONTHS later I received a bill for an additional $515. After weeks of frustration of trying to coordinate between not very nice Lisette in the billing department who never answers a phone call and the insurance company, I finally gave up and paid the bill in full just to get it over with. AFTER the bill was paid, they turned me in to collections and I am still fighting this nightmare. I would been so way better off never going in for this appointment in the first place. read more

Dr. Nestor had been my doctor for years. I had a rash on my face and needed an appointment - a late one as I work. They gave me a 3:30 appointment. I was called twice to confirm which I did. On the day of the appointment they called asking if I could come in earlier - I explained that I took the 3:30 appointment due to working. They said ok and to come at 3:30. I was on my way and received a call that he left due to an emergency at the hospital!! How ironic - wanted me to come early and lo and behold - an emergency!! Are there even dermatological emergencies?? I asked if I could see the PA and was told no because I hadn't been in for over a year. When I told her that was incorrect I was then told "oh yes you've been here 8 months ago but can't see the PA because you need a skin check." I was asked if I wanted to reschedule. NO THANK YOU - Dr. Nestor has zero respect for his patient's time and not allowing me to see the PA - inexcusable. It was only after searching for a new dermatologist that I came across all the reviews for Dr. Nestor. VERY SCARY! read more

If I could give a zero, I would. It's not the doctor who is poor but the office staff and their coordination and knowledge or lack there of. The amount of time spent in the waiting room and then inside waiting for the doctor was unreasonable and offensive. One hour! I'm on the search for a new dermatologist. read more
