First of all, we waited a good 30 minutes after the music festival ended for the trolley to arrive. The wait was so long that 3 trolleys-worth of people were waiting. When the trolley arrived the driver (who was extremely rude) told us that this was the last trolly of the night, so everyone squeezed on. It felt very unsafe especially with the hilly terrain. We will use an Uber next time!!!!

Our tour guide was Avery and he was fantastic! From the middle that we stepped out to take a picture in front of the cave until we exited through the gift shop. It was a great experience. We walked through places in the cave that were noted in the adventures of Tom Sawyer, and through the cave history, including the thousands of signatures in the cave. We also participated in 15 through a pay dirt bag. This space is grade for all ages, and they have ample souvenirs. In the gift shop. We even visited the winery across the street. We look forward to potentially camping there in the future.

From the moment we stepped inside, our guide Ella was gneiss as can be, sharing tons of history without taking it for granite. The winding passages are truly stalagmite-ic (okay, maybe just stunning!), and exploring the very place that inspired Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn totally rocked our world. It's a cave-in-your-plans kind of attraction--don't skip the gift shop either, it's a gem. We had a sedimentary sort of day just soaking it all in, but honestly, it was ore-inspiring from start to finish. Five out of five stars, we will never chalk this up to a bad experience! I do recommend pants and closed toe shoes if you are on the colder side.

This place is like a little village that has everything needed for any event like a wedding! Also the Manager was so helpful and I can tell, she is a very organized person and she made sure everything is going perfect and she was smiling all the time. :) It was a beautiful october night, the ceremony took place on the bluffs by the vineyard. There is a big log house by the bluffs for wedding family, so they can have their own privacy before the ceremony. (Btw, walking in stilettos can be challenging since the area is all grassy and soil) After the ceremony, we walked to the 2 story barn to attend the cocktail, and had their complimentary hot apple cider, was delicious. Then we headed to upstairs to have wedding dinner and after party. This place can handle more than 100 people. Very neat and clean. Service was perfect.

Spoke with angler about his catch, seems the river is full up with them crazy jumping asian carp and no matter how many he and his partner take out (and they take out alot) there's more than enough left to suck every ounce of joy out of life on the river.

It looked nice and interesting but when we arrived there we could see why there probably was not many people there. The entire park needs a make over. Things are old and worn down. This place is really for kids. There is a Wine Shop for adults, but most of the Fun items are for a younger crowd. Everything is also fairly expensive.

Spent a few days here recently while visiting the area. This campground has a Coffee house as well…read more We made reservations over the phone and booked our site for our visit. They gave me a 10% off discount for being a veteran. Check in is at the coffee house counter. The person working the day of our arrival was friendly, kind and professional and made the process simple and easy. Navigation into the park is a bit tricky, as it sits on a fast moving truck route highway so caution is advised. GPS takes you past the entrance and requires a Uturn when traveling from the east. If you turn at the cross over exit just before the uturn it takes you right into the park. Making entrance much easier. Gravel packed roads throughout the park are a little tight in places. A long pull through with FHU and shade trees on both sides of our rig. Split utilities, water on one side with power and drainage on the other. It made hooking up a bit more complicated but we made it work. Relatively level gravel site, a little on the thin side. I had to adjust my rig a couple times to get it where the slides could be opened all the way. Once I got the rig squared into the site it was okay. We could not open our main awning all the way because of a close tree lower branches. We adjusted again and made it work. This park has river frontage on the Salt river, which made for a nice break floating on the river one day. There are a lot of outside activities here, tetherball, volleyball, rental kayvaks, an outdoor music stage, walking trails, a boat ramp and the then river itself. Our site was fairly comfortable for our visit, the shade trees made a huge difference. There are a lot of long term campers in this park, so spaces are limited for overnight and pass through travelers. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit. The highway noise is significant at the front of the property. Where we were, you could here trucks going by all night. Ear plugs or white noise is necessary to cancel the road noise out at night. 3.5 Stars rounded up for the kind desk staff and working with me to adjust our stay 01309

Kristine and…read moreSteve were charming hosts, and our room (in the back with a private entrance) was a spacious and comfortable suite. Breakfast was a three course extravaganza of pastry, warm peaches and delicious eggs, all homemade. The location is perfect, as it's just a couple of blocks to the historic downtown. Free Wi-Fi works well. Kristine and Steve obviously enjoy what they do, and it really shows in how enjoyable they make everyone's stay. Highly recommended.

It was actually the best meal I had over our week long journey throughout the Midwest. Our room was very reasonably priced, comfortable, beautiful, and very quiet. I only regret that we didn't have the time to stay there longer. They go above and beyond to accommodate guests, and helped make the whole visit very special.
