Never received a call from the office informing me there were any issues. However, I did receive a piece of mail from State Farm informing me that my policy was being cancelled for spouse? I'm single, have a clean driving record, zero tickets and no accidents. Thanks Jake from State Farm. They not only replaced you (a real employee) with a Hollywood actor, they just replaced this potential long term customer with no one. After that every year it went up, which I hear can be natural for insurance. I had to file a claim with them and I don't know if the company name changed or they have a different claims Dept but I had to file it with ASI. In order to receive my claims check, I had to update my mailing address since I moved and ASI could not update it even though they are the ones who would be sending me my check. ASI transfered me to TWG and I got hung up on after on hold for 5 minutes. I emailed Twg and explained the situation, and someone called me within 8 hours to help me out. They told me they had my correct mailing address but if I want to make sure I get the claims check to the right place then I'll need to call back and confirm with ASI on when they sent the check. My goodness, a lot of hassle.

Additionally they offered horrible advice that in the long run ended up costing me big time on a hail damage claim I had on the roof of my house. Moving here from another state I had never been faced with these oddball clauses about wind and hail special "deductibles" based on the value of your home. 2 percent to be exact, which quite frankly is ridiculous. But on top of it, to have your insurance company who has the value of your home, versus the value of your total property, write a home owners policy that includes the land add insult to injury. I am quite frankly surprised that Safeco would even allow them to write a policy like this since even in the case of catastrophic damage, would never have delivered on the full value of the policy unless the land itself were sucked into a big hole in the ground. Then I'm sure there would have been some earthquake exclusion that would have voided the whole thing. I have since switched my homeowners policy to Met Life which was a direct purchase thru a buying agreement with the corporation I work for and have done a better job talking to someone on line directly than when I had this lousy agency "working for me".... Also they have these young men who are actually quite glib and goofy handling their policies. I am reminded of how much I dislike these people after I just got a call from someone at their office today interrupting me in the middle of my business day to talk about getting me back as a client. He says he has some great rates to discuss with me.... REALLY? CAN I WASTE MORE OF MY TIME AND MONEY ON YOU? I THINK NOT!!!!
