However once I actually went in and saw him, I was so pleased! Dr. Issa listened to everything that I had to say and was patient with me. I did not feel rushed or just a another to patient to him. His bed manner is exceptionally. I have raved about him to my mom and others. I love that certain things are readily accessible within his office and doesn't require prescriptions or orders to outside labs. I also love that apart of the yearly check ups with him includes things like EKGs and certain blood work. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! I can't say enough about Dr. Issa.

I generally have an appointment with the PA. The PA is aware of my background and my desire to have…read moresomeone I can trust as a main medical contact. I have insurance that does not require me to go to a primary but I prefer to go to the primary so someone knows all the different conditions I am managing and the treatments to ensure there isn't a conflict. Today, I had an appointment and got the RN. Unlike the PA that seems to be interested in the medical profession, the RN is rude (won't let you ask any questions without interrupting), arrogant (can glance at a screen for a second and from that glance can disregard all the other doctors and procedures done over the last 40 years), and argumentative (literally argued about everything while not knowing and disregarding prior diagnosis from real doctors). It came to light today that on other occasions that he has operated in an ethically gray area. Prime example is not only on an escalated issue, called back and allowed me to believe he was a doctor and then to covered for the front office by suggesting that I pay out of pocket because they didn't know how to complete the paperwork for prescription. This while putting my wellbeing in jeopardy due to all I can assume is laziness. Another time refused cancelled on appointment on a Friday afternoon because because he didn't want to complete the appointment and even with the severity of the issue, thought it would be better for him, if I waited for another doctors office to schedule a appointment knowing that would be weeks out. When I said that I needed to address the issue sooner he then wanted me to go to the emergency room all without knowing the history or background. The PA is great. She does not always agree and sometime acts in the best interest of the practice, but I have not had any ethical issues, or had to deal with the unnecessary arrogance that I always have to deal with with this RN. I think someone needs to remind him that he is not a Doctor or PA and that all patients are not completely ignorant about the conditions they have been managing for 40 years. I would suggest it might be worth a couple minutes to let them finish a whole sentence without having to be rude to be heard. I will be following up with the state as I do believe that an RN allowing someone to believe your a doctor so you can gaslight them is ethically wrong at the very least, but likely far more serious than that.

I have ben able to get same day office or telemedicine appointments. I frequently travel and am able to reach out to the office and have any health issues resolved. Refills for medication can sometimes be a challenge but most times they are handled promptly. Dr. Salazar is compassionate and knows his stuff. He has helped me through numerous medical challenges and I'm here to stay.

Don't get me wrong I go to the Gynecologist,Dermatologist,and get a colonoscopy every three years. I just don't see a regular MD. But lately I have had chest pains so I thought hey got insurance might as well use it. So this place recently added Saturday appointments which is great and we were the first of the day. Im sure doctors feel shafted but my insurance copay went up 15$ so they are getting more and now this 3 percent fee. Is this a huge amount? No. Not really. But if it's not a huge anount for me a retired person, I'm guessing a doctor can afford it too. I don't care for being nickeled and dimed.

My sister has dealt with medical problems for some time, and so unfortunately I am very familiar with a host of hospitals and countless doctors. I would not want any other nephrologist looking after my sister or any other family member for that matter. I have saved his name & contact information as one of the very best. If you need a nephrologist - you will not find one better than Dr. Cristea. I can promise you that, on my sister's life.
