This store is gigantic. Not only that, but it's ready-to-go food sections are immense. Extremely well, equipped, full shelves, great variety of organic products, a huge meat section, an entire containers full of frozen fish, in addition to fresh seafood at the meat counter. I found the service to be excellent, with numerous people ambling by filling their carts while busy employees, restocked shelves consistently. For the life of me, I don't understand why this grocery chain does not have self checkout aisles. I invariably do my own to make sure that my vegetables are not bruised or damage when I get home, which usually is the case when I go through a checkout counter. I really like this place. We have a Hannafords' in town that has limited selections as it occupies the footprint of an older, mom & pop store. I have to confess I have never been to an Aldi and today was the first time as I was in Concord. It takes a little research to go to Aldi for the first time, and even when I did, there were still some surprises. The quarter per shopping cart and the dangling key seemed cosmic until a nice lady said she had finished with a cart she found in the paring lot and gave it to me. So I went inside to see what they had. I did bring several bags and cooling bags as I understood their no bag policy which I found super Super layout of staples, non-perishable items and seasonal products at very competitive prices. The fresh produce section seemed picked over and it was still mid morning. I can imagine what it must look like at 3 PM.... On the other hand, their refrigerated food, cookout items and frozen selections were superb. Wide aisles, friendly people, and nice attendants. Checkout was a breeze. The nice checkout attendant helped me with placing the items in the cooler bag. As anything related to a German company, it was quick and efficient.... I will say that, being an assiduous buyer of organic products, I can see myself coming over for party food and non perishables. However, the shopping experience is excellent.

I don't even drink soda, but I was completely taken by this store's dedication to it. The first thing I saw walking in was a wall of boxed Coke. One soda aisle itself had varieties and flavors I'd never seen before--and even beyond that aisle, soda kept popping up throughout the store. The flower section was also surprisingly lovely. They have a refrigerated, self-service room where you can walk in, pick a vase, and build your own display, which was a sweet touch. Being in New Hampshire, prices were noticeably cheaper than in the Boston area as well. Overall, a solid Shaw's.

Just enough veggies and a nice heavy portion of shredded steak! The rolls are really fresh and perfect texture. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Sara is a joy to see and quite helpful, friendly and courteous. The place is spotless and the kitchen is nicely organized. They have a comprehensive menu that's not too big. The have a wonderful craft beer selection and many snacks that you just don't see everywhere. Slightly off the beaten path, just off 3A. Totally worth the side trip! I'm looking forward to going back. I'd recommend them to anyone that would listen. Give'em a try, you won't be disappointed.
