It would be good if you renamed your "Cole slaw". I was disappointed to get kale expecting traditional. I had to send it back. Otherwise, the food was very good. We found this spot before leaving a nearby museum. It was close and also easy to access from the interstate. Ratings looked good. The parking lot was small, but it appeared that you could do on-street parking close by. They had a surprisingly extensive menu plus a huge beer selection (which I did not try). I got their BLT, which looked huge initially but which was heavy on lettuce and large slices of bread. The bacon was adequate, though. My wife got a different sandwich and side-salad. I helped to to finish the salad as the sandwich was also large. This being New Hampshire, they had maple as options for both the bacon and the coffee. Maybe for other things too... I came here early morning with my 1.5 year old daughter. We sat down waited few minutes the girl who took my iced coffee order came back said all the milk and cream was help yourself. When you have a toddler you usually dont just leave them at a booth alone. I asked two different times for cream from both young girls and neither were helpful enough to just bring me some. I always find staff who are attentive to a mother traveling alone with toddler get bigger tips. I tipped 15% and felt like that was generous. Where we go at home back in MA staff always grab my daughter food first and bring me coffee with cream. Needless to say this was luckily just a pass thru spot. Not somewhere I'd recommend. Sad to say since I enjoyed the food. But bad service always wins at the end. Please be more attentive and do the extra even if its something as SMALL as bringing a mom cream for her coffee! read more

The prices are reasonable, but on the higher side. I got a brisket, egg, and cheese sandwich on a croissant and an iced coffee. Total came out to just under $15. My sandwich was good, not great. It had two slices of brisket that was a bit dry. The coffee was pretty good. Didn't use the bathroom. Can't comment on that. I would stop in again and try something else on the menu. Wow! This place was amazing! I was pet sitting for a friend in Contoocook and took a walk in the morning to the Everyday Cafe. This is a cute little restaurant with a gift shop and bar. I ordered a coffee and a breakfast burrito. The burrito was incredible! Loaded with sausage and veggies and a nice helping of salsa and sour cream on the side. While I waited for my burrito, I could not resist ordering a freshly made maple frosted donut to enjoy later. I only managed to save it until lunchtime. It was delicious! The staff here are super friendly. What a great stop! The Everyday Cafe has me wishing that I lived in Contoocook too! read more

This is our second visit and we absolutely love this place. The deviled eggs, dry rub wings and beer are the initial draw. But the specials and salads are excellent as well. My mom and I were out for a drive when we spotted this place. we were getting pretty hungry since we hadn't had anything since breakfast and it was already late afternoon, so after looking on Yelp at the reviews we decided to go ahead and try it. We went in and we were told to go ahead and take a seat and they would bring us a menu. The decor of the place is quite cute. They have a ski lift chair table and other interesting seating. They also have outdoor sesting. We were given a lunch menu and a breakfast menu. I ordered an iced tea and my mom just had water. We looked at the menu for quite some time and my mom decided to have a pancake which came with real syrup. I found myself trying to decide between a chicken salad sandwich or an egg salad sandwich. The sandwiches all came with a choice of pasta salad or chips or a green salad and a pickle. I told the waitress to surprise me on the sandwich and I ordered the pasta salad with it. I received a chicken salad sandwich with pasta salad and a pickle. The sandwich was huge! Very thick. It was delicious! The pasta salad was really good and they gave you quite a bit of it. My mom really enjoyed her pancake also. I would say it's an average value. I believe my sandwich was $8 and although I probably could make it home for cheaper it was really nice to have someone else make it for me. I would definitely like to come back again and try other items. They had a large variety of salads that sounded really good. I did not have coffee but I saw that they had a sign that said make your own coffee and there were multiple containers with different flavors of coffee. My staff here was friendly and the food was good so I would definitely recommend trying it out. read more

This place is a real gem with a lovely menu of fresh and delicious food. Easy to find healthy stuff like salads without sacrificing flavor. They have a full bar and lots of local brews on tap. I've been to this restaurant multiple times and will no longer be going. I can easily say that the weekday staff versus the weekend staff are completely different. I have had the weight staff answer the phone saying I'm only answering to tell you we're not taking orders and then hang up without saying anything else. Today was a new one. I called to put an order in and not only was the person on the phone extremely abrasive and rude, I could hear the chef in the background complaining about me putting the order in. His exact words were, " can you believe this lady is calling in with a friggin large order in ." as a business owner myself, I've never once complained about someone giving me business. It is happened too many times at this point. I've given so many chances. I hope they find this helpful so they will no longer treat people the way they have been. read more

stopped on my journey between VT&MA. was pleased with the fresh, organic, locally-sourced ingredients at such reasonable cost! service was great. quirky little place with sweet vibes and good food. a recommendation to the chef...the smoked chicken on the big thai salad had great flavor and was fresh, but i found the smooth texture and presentation super unnerving. the smoothness of the skinless chicken breast made it appear raw even though it wasn't. i once read somewhere that, as humans, we are socialized to avoid consuming meats that look too raw --and after my aversion to the chicken on this salad i know this to be true. if searing/grilling isn't an option for smoked meats, why not just shred it? please. i am sure other diners are also uneasy about this and implore you to reconsider presentation/preparation! read more

We have been here twice recently. We make a special trip to come here when we are out antiquing. The first time I had their Thai salad and my husband had a wrap, I forget which one; but both were delicious!l and we couldn't wait to go back. This time we wanted to try something different so he had the Smokehouse Salad and I had the Maple Bacon BLT. He loved the salad and my BLT would have been perfect except for the bacon. The bacon was slightly undercooked and not drained and made the sandwich a bit greasy. This breakfast was the best breakfast we've had in a long time. These people have thought of the most creative meals, in a beautiful space, with a great beer list, and the most friendly staff around. I got the Cowboy Benny - pulled pork and picked jalapenos on cornbread, OMG. The cornbread gave it just the right amount of sweetness. The eggs were poached perfectly. It was so yummy, when after I was full I had to finish. Hubby got the shrimp, grits and eggs and it was equally delicious. The grits were so creamy, and the whole fish was just so flavorful. With tomatoes and onions and peppers, yum. We couldn't decide which dish was better. My husband said whoever works here is an amazing chef.
