Great place for ! They have great arrangements and you can request for your own arrangements as well. They sell dried beautiful flowers too! This place is perfect for gifts for your loved ones! This is my go to place for flowers as they last longer and they have a good selection too! They also have flower vases and long stem roses (if you want to role play Bachelorette). EEK! I am SO disappointed in the $75 bouquet I purchased for my wife from my son on Valentines day. the flowers were DEAD within 24 hours. BUYER BEWARE! I cut the ends and put the flowers in water immediately. this is not our first flower rodeo! I called in and asked what could be done and they person who answered the phone would not only let me NOT speak to a manager but said that the flowers were "out fo water" for to long. The fresh flower section in the front is great - but Market Blooms is also part of the plant store in the back and the experience was awful. I purchased house plants before and never had a problem, but recently I was in the market for a fern in a hanging basket. Got one way to big for the space I wanted it for, immediately called and asked if I could run back and make an exchange a woman from the flower shop said sure - that shouldn't be a problem. Went back - and the woman at the plant shop yelled at me so badly and treated me so poorly I actually got shake-ey. I wanted to explain what happened and that I called - but she continued to yell at me and humiliate me. It was really really awful. @ Steve I really do appreciate you exchanging it for me, but you may want to consider updating your receipts to NOT read "valid return within 30 days". Also, I did not ask about the return policy at the time, I was way too excited about purchasing the plant to be quite honest. It did not come up. Essentially I was not upset about the actual exchange - it was how combative your sales clerk was. See if she explained to me the policy in a delicate or reasonable way that would have been acceptable. Maybe even suggesting, hey I'll give you a discount on another purchase and we'll help you re-pot this so you can keep it in a pot on a stand would have been acceptable. I'm an intelligent, reasonable adult - it was more about HOW SHE SPOKE TO ME. And as you were not there, unfortunately your clerk lied to you and said that she explained the policy to me. What would I gain by lying. I'm telling the truth and again, I do appreciate you exchanging it. Finally you could of sent me a msg via yelp to apologize I would of then removed my negative rating. Okay sure, the owner can have an attitude but it's not that bad. You know what isn't bad at all? The prices and flowers! Great prices for fresh bouquets, so of the best in the city considering quality of flowers. You can walk out of here with the best bouquet in the place for 20$. Of course, there are nice ones too for even less than that. The last bouquet I bought here lasted weeks in my very cold house and brightened my day each time I saw it. Have bought from here a few times, and have always received such lovely service from the staff, picked up some beautifully made bouquets and I just recently went to the shop and tried to leave a tip , but apparently the staff isn't allowed to receive tips/there is no system in place to leave a tip (on card/or in a tip jar) (???), which is honestly pretty terrible when they make the whole experience worthwhile. It also seems pretty severely inhumane on the owners part given they've been open throughout the pandemic and the location isn't necessarily covid-safe (open air cafeteria). Employees should be paid well, and given an opportunity to receive tips. We don't like bosses hoarding wealth, especially when their business are functioning off of stolen land :). Market Blooms is a great option for last minute flowers. Located in Reading Terminal Market, the bouquets are beautiful and eye catching. Although not exactly a steal price-wise, the flowers are fairly priced. The staff is always very nice and doesn't try to rush you as you try to pick out what exactly you are looking for. The Reading Terminal Market garden... well that's what it feels like! It just smells amazing, so make sure if you are anywhere near it just to sniff your way through. Yes, it's in the middle of the hustle and bustle of such a high trafficked, busy spot in the city but it is a great reminder to stop. And smell the roses. Literally. I really crave these spots with amazing flowers. I wish we had more stops like this in Orlando. They come fresh from a farm in southern Jersey! One of their missions is stated as "We think the flowers you buy should be as healthy for the environment as they are beautiful." I love that. This has been my go-to spot for all of my planting needs. The stuff there is beautiful, and they have things like herbs and spices for very reasonable prices. The decorative stuff is a bit more pricey, but still not bad for what you're getting. Plenty of times I've asked the staff questions about caring for my plants, and they have always been helpful and experienced. The shop is a bit bigger after their recent renovation, but it's still cozy and very comfortable to browse. Like Iovine's it can get a bit crowded on weekends, but not as bad, and they are still helpful. read more

If you want a full bouquet be prepared to spend a little bit, this is not the place where you can spend $10 and walk out with something nice. The staff is nice although not really overly helpful. Their flowers also are clearly fresh, my bouquets always last over a week which a nice change from the typical supermarket floral bouquets. Bottom Line: If you want something to really wow and that goes beyond the typical arrangement- this is your place. They are usually helpful when they aren't too busy and can help you combine several items for a nice bouquet. I like how they accept LevelUP so you essentially get 10% cash back on everything you spend there. They pack the flowers in a very nice plastic carrying bag also. Market Blooms is the only flower shop in the entire city of Philadelphia that I'll shop at, they really are that good. The flower selection is to die for, their bouquet making skills are unparalleled, and their prices are quite reasonable. I shop here probably twice a month for my fiancee and it seems that each time is more impressive than the last. On my most recent visit (July 8, 2012) I picked up a bouquet of yellow and white daisies and as of this posting (a week later) they are still just as vibrant and full of life as they were the day I bought them. Over time I've bought two vases here as well and each was beautifully crafted and very cheap given how gorgeous they look. While many people on here have commented about encountering rude staff and being treated poorly I have never been treated with anything but the utmost respect and have had all my questions answered immediately, and with a smile (always appreciated). A matter of fact, most of the flowers I buy are recommended to me by the staff and they have yet to let me down. Went to this place a few weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon to order flowers for an upcoming event. I was told by the sales person that the manager was in charge of orders and that I needed to speak with her to place an order and she did not work Sundays. I then went back one day the following week to place my order and was told that this was the managers job. I asked if she was in and was told she was in and would be out to see me in a few minutes. Rude and in a hurry she kept telling me to look up flowers on the computer and email her what I wanted. She was practically running away from me. As a small business owner I found her to have horrible customer service! I would have been out of business many times over if I treated anyone in such a manner. I went to her for her expertise and help and received neither! I suggest she teach her staff to help out with orders or get schooled on customer service. P.S. I really like this place a lot, and I have been going here for all of my planting necessities for over 5 years. I've seen it change from a fresh cut florist to a houseplant, herb, potted plant, and garden inspired green spot. The quality of indoor and outdoor plants here is excellent. The herbs and house plants are reasonably priced, and quite often they have great deals like buy one get on half price. i can count on one hand the number of times i've bought flowers. and market blooms inspires me to increase that number, thanks to their beautiful selection. one cool tuesday morning december, i swung for a quick purchase. less than a minute later, i had selected a bouquet that boasted deep, elegant colors with vibrant yellow sprays - gorgeous!! i don't know how much flowers typically cost, but this was worth it for $15. it smelled absolutely wonderful! a complete wave of fresh air into a warm but demanding office environment. the checkout lady exuded an aura of calmness, unusual for a busy place like reading terminal market - well, unusual for ANY workplace on a tuesday morning. guess this is what happens when you get to enjoy such beauty & inhale such sweetness on a daily basis. as usual, i would rate 5 stars were it not for the priciness. but who knows - maybe i'll change my mind after i discover cutthroat prices at other florists. read more

Only an imbecile would disrespect the clients who support a small business. I came here about a year ago to get advice and pricing from the florist about DIY-ing my wedding. I was really unimpressed with the attitude from the lady running the show. It's like a "look at whatever you want, just don't bother me" kind of vibe. I ended up not working with her because she was difficult when it came to quoting pricing and returning my follow up calls. I called Wegman's and Whole Foods and received the exact opposite response- super responsive, clear pricing, willing to flex to help out. I've since been back twice and noticed the attitude is persistent. Swung by after jury duty a few weeks ago and no one acknowledged me, even though I did two laps around the flowers (which left a lot to be desired) and smiled at the two people working there. And to clarify: I was the ONLY patron there, so it wasn't like they were busy. Did buy a few bunches of flowers but frankly, they were expensive and died within 3 days. Flower shopping is one of my favorite things to do to de-stress, but shopping at this place certainly puts a damper on my mood. I'd much rather make the trip to Wegman's in NJ or Wholefoods on 20th for the better selection and customer care. read more
