I am not a fan of the new appointment system, but that is a personal opinion. I have been a customer since the day you opened. Had excellent service from Julie, to Kristy to David to Amy. And it seems the only quality tech you have now is Amy. Today I left disappointed. Cuticles not clipped properly, no care in nail fileing, and the gel was put onto my skin. Sitting up in the pedicure chair for a gel manicure is uncomfortable. And yes I did ask if we were going to the manicure table and he said no. When other local nail shops couldn't get us in, MS got us right in! The two guys that did our pedis were phenomenal! Clean and working pedicure thrones, nice chair massage, wonderful pedicure service, leg and foot massage was amazing, hot stones were indulgent, and the hot towels worked wonders on my legs!! My toes looked great and they took pride and care into making sure they were perfect!! After we spent the afternoon on the Sandy beach, they still look amazing!! Stopped to get a quick fix on a nail broken during my trip in Destin. Was not expecting the nail to be exactly the same, but of similar shape (coffin) and design (french tip). Absolutely did no shaping or filing when came time and the design is poorly done. Employees were nice but I feel like it was rushed even though there was nobody there or just because they were upset I wanted to fix a single nail. Poorly painted on the sides and a lot of excess underneath. Would not be back even if I wanted more than a single nail fixed. read more

I came on Labor Day Weekend and they were SUPER busy, but I ended up getting in and out within the time frame I needed. Staff was friendly and they did a great job with my pedicure - necessary after a bout with Plantar Fasciitis. Pricing was what I've paid for a pedicure elsewhere and I love how easy it was to get there from the Sandestin resort. Will definitely come back here on my next visit! read more

Very happy with this nail salon. I never have to wait or get turned away. I have a fluctuating schedule so it's easier for me to call a few minutes ahead and get in. They've gotten me right in the last two times. Also very satisfied with my last pedicure. I did a regular pedicure and it lasted about 6 weeks. Yeah, I was definitely pushing it by the sixth week. I think six weeks for non gel pedicure is pretty good though. I've been to several salons in the area and this is my new go to from now on. I had gone here regularly until about 9 months ago when most of the nail techs left. I tried it again 2 months ago, and the mani/pedi was just ok...it didn't last long and I had to wait 20min even though I had an appointment. I decided to try again today. Had to wait again even though I had an appointment and when they finally got to me, they were so rushed that they cut my toe. I had the standard manicure with gel as well as a basic pedicure. Lily performed both services and was absolutely perfect. She took her time, despite the salon being very busy with a wait. I did not feel rushed with either service. She massaged my calves, feet and hands for a while, something I find most salons rush through. It was so relaxing and much appreciated. I'm a fairly basic chick when it comes to my nails, but I have had some pretty bad experiences. This salon was so professional and took great care of me. I live here and have used the same nail salon for several yrs. Unfortunately, they sold the salon and relocated. Therefore I have been trying different salons I'm the area. There are SEVERAL within 2 miles from home....Anyway, this past Friday I had friends in town celebrating birthdays. I decided to take them for mani/pedis. I went to the Market PLACE SALON last month and liked the way the girl did my nails so I made RESERVATIONS there for the 3 of us. After getting my pedicure, she asked if I could wait 20 minutes to get my nails done because she had someone else come in. Needless to say I was not happy about it. I fell it was extremely rude and not good business. I may have been somewhat different had I not made reservations in advance, but to leave me sitting for 20 plus minutes to do someone else let .e know they don't need my business. It's a good thing because I won't be going back and I sure won't be taking my friends there. My friends nails were 55.00 each and my pedicure was 70. Beings they had not started my friends pedicures, they insisted we all leave. So...I spent 180.00 there and called it a day. Had they done right, I would have spent 320.00 plus tips. Don't know about you, but for me,that's bad business. We left,drove 1/8 mile 2 VENUS nail salon. Walked in and they took the 3 of us back and we finished our business. As a matter of fact we even all 3 got the mini facials they offer and I ended up spending the same amount of money. So...it all ended well. Spent 320.00 for 2 more pedis and 1 Mani and 3 facials. We came in to Destin for our wedding and vacation. We made an appointment at this salon the day before our wedding to get fresh pedicures and my nails done. My tech for the pedicure was decent, but I noticed he ignored my request for the classic pedicure and did another that was more expensive. I got a gel manicure and this was where I was really unhappy with the result. They were sloppy. Another tech did them again and they were much better. My fiancé's nails didn't come out even for a basic mani pedi either. The shapes were all different. Two stars was for the tech that made it right. I wouldn't recommend this shop though. read more

My mom and I got Mani/pedi's here yesterday. We are on vacation and needed to relax and get our nails done. The woman who did mine was wonderful! She did a incredible leg massage and was able to remove a very painful ingrown toenail. I was very satisfied with my nails. My mom's experience...not good. The woman who worked on her would not stop talking. Not only was she very hard to understand, when we could make out what she was saying, it was always something bizarre. For example, I told her that my mom is an artist, and the techs response was, "so you are romantic?"...... Everything she said was like that. Just weird. She wouldn't let my mom have the color she chose for her nails either. She literally forced my mom to change her nail color choice. She cut my mom's nails so short that all you see is skin. She made us both uncomfortable with her strange behavior and bizarre comments. It cost my mom well over $200 bucks for this horrible experience. I feel so bad and I wish I could get my mom's money back. I hate writing negative reviews. I always give people the benefit of the doubt, but this was inexcusable. read more

Purchased at deluxe pedicure for $50 and it was not worth it at all. Horrible job at scrubbing my feet. They rushed my service because they were getting a line of people waiting. My nails were also poorly shaped. I also got a manicure. Again I was rushed and I still tipped. I hate our tipping system. You feel obligated even with poor service. Cannot get enough of this nail shop!! I have never been disappointed and I always come back. The nail technicians are so sweet, really hard workers and very detail oriented to make sure your mani-pedi looks the best possible! Hands down best nail salon in the area. I am a local and have tried numerous (10-15) locations, and this is by far my favorite. I've been going here regularly for over 3 years and won't go anywhere else. The people are always friendly, selection of services is the best around, and they always have a HUGE choice of colors. If you call ahead for an appointment they will always give you an honest answer on wait time or if they can fit you in. I've even seen them get a call of a party coming in and immediately call additional employees in to accommodate the clients on their way in. Time is valuable and they are respectful of mine (& yours)! So give them a call and set up a time to go in. Seriously - the BEST!! read more
