I like the Victoria's Secret shop here, comfy and affordable for the name brand. I remember coming here to the Nike shop to get work shoes years ago too. I've spent many summer days walking around the open air mall. Window shopping, shopping for school, then shopping for work. It's still a pastime with my family.

The food court has lots of options for good food, fast and not so fast too. Plenty of parking even though it can get crowded. I usually go there when I need to get a specific item. The place itself is clean, I liked that they're not the usually kiosks or sales people trying to sell you things, that's a plus for me when it comes to choosing a mall. I have some places that I like to go there for food, like the Cheesecake Factory and PF Changs. My daughter likes that there's a Claire's, and all the other Claire's around that we know are now closed. They have unique places when it comes to luxury brands, plenty of parking, but in peak season time can get difficult to find a parking close to the entrance. I go sometimes, and meet friends since it's near the touristic/universal studios area. They also have a big Apple store, that occasionally visit.

Since the pandemic things have slowed down but if you have young children it is nice to sit on a bench and have some ice cream or Italian ices at the green.

I personally did not think the deals and selection were all that special, but maybe if you're coming from Europe or Asia it's unbelievable, I don't know. I just wasn't seeing the value here. While I haven't been to the stores, I have eaten at many of their restaurants. Some of the great restaurants include The Whiskey, which had some nice hamburgers and whiskey related drinks with occasional live rich and roll music, Thai Thani, which has nice Thai food, and Ruth Chris, a great high end steakhouse. However, my favorite restaurant has to be Mosonori, which just opened recently. From the same owners who does Kabooki Sushi, they make awesome hand rolls with their fresh fish at reasonable prices. While the restaurant is small, it's just amazing! For shipping, I really need to try Wild Forks one day. There are various fountains throughout the place, with many viewable in restaurants with outdoor seating. The centerpiece is the one in the center when you enter the strip. It's grand and gorgeous! Parking can be difficult during the nights and weekends, when it gets crowded. It's best to valet if your restaurant offers it during that time. I am glad this shopping strip is not to far from my parenting house. It's very close to Dr Phillips, has plenty of restaurants, and is gorgeous with their fountains. I had extremely low expectations…read more Theme Parks have never been my thing typically in the past ... but as the years go by I've been progressively impressed with the varieties of activities, restaurants & entertainment offered by these big megaplexes. I thought that the choices of food was going to be underwhelming .. it wasn't. Truly surprised. Truly impressed. There is something to do for all ages. Remember to wear your MOST comfortable long wearing shoe you have cuz you're going to walk a LOT. You will get your exercise and steps in. Make sure you drink plenty of water& electrolytes... it's stupid hot at these types of places .. yes you can go inside air conditioned buildings to cool off .. but that's only to tempt you to buy things .. lol. Can't believe I was here at Universal City Walk 25 years .., it's only been here for 27 years ... so seeing how this place has matured over the years and how many new options they are putting in place .. We were looking the for the Orlando International Premium Outlets down the street, but our GPS sent us here. Unfortunately we didn't realize our error until we already committed a chunk of time here. When we first pulled into the parking lot, we were surprised at how lame the place looked. It comes off like a generic, run down strip mall that you probably have near your hometown, but never gave a seconds thought to. After walking around a bit, it was clear that there were no deals here. The pricing for most items we checked seemed to be on par with what you would pay online, maybe even a bit more. Also, the amount of inventory on hand was either erratic or sparse. In the end, the negative vibe of this place just sucked the energy out of us. We didn't find anything worth buying and it wasn't a pleasant place to walk around. Waste of time. Hopefully we'll make it to the Premium Outlet down the road on the next trip.
