I have sensitive teeth and my former dentists have always had to give me more than one dose of Novocaine before starting in on any procedures. Not only does Dr. Cruse not have to use more than one dose - presumably because he's hitting exactly the right nerve the first time - but he's also the only dentist I've ever had who can administer Novocaine painlessly. I was then told the surgical fee -- which would be performed by a completely separate, independent provider (Dr. Burnett) -- would need to be obtained on my own, and would require an additional paid consultation at that office. This two-office billing arrangement was never disclosed before I paid. When I requested a refund based on the broken promise, I was told the consultation "was provided" and no refund would be issued. I contacted over 40 providers during this process. This was the only one that misrepresented what the consultation fee would deliver. Proceed with caution -- ask specifically whether surgery and restorative are billed by the same practice before paying any fee.

They have a wall-mounted TV so you can see your x-rays and....mouth images* while having areas of concern pointed out. *They have this cool new technology that I haven't seen before that uses intense light to image your teeth in a way that is different (and safer) than x-rays. I told her that I had a purple bruise under my tongue and she insisted she did not do that. now I have either and ulcer or Kanker sore where she jammed the numbing needle(with no warning nor carefulness) shes not very careful and seemed rushing and careless. I don't think she cared for me as a patient and I remained silent because she seemed very irritated and I didn't want to upset her anymore. my mouth is hurting worse than ever and I don't think she would even take accountability if I showed her my mouth. mind you it's a tiny tooth in the front bottom row, you would think it was easy. The office was spotless and the equipment was all brand new and high tech. The assistant who cleaned my teeth was great. Didn't feel a thing. And Dr Cloud was great too. I had a tooth that has been sensitive at times. He said it was probably due to an old silver filling I had. Nowadays its all another material that is used. He said it was probably from contraction and expansion from hot and cold. Also said i may need it replaced someday, but didn't pressure me at all to do it here. Said watching and waiting would be just fine. So I would definitely recommend this place. I have found over the years that it is better to avoid brand new dentists. I guess one that has been in an established practice doesn't have the student loans, and car loans, and new McMansion to pay for. I always have better luck with longer-established dentists.
