I think this is awful and Dr Blanscet took advantage of my son. SO BEWARE of this Blanscet office.

I made it through almost 40 years without major dental problems, and then the last 5 or so it seems like I've been in the chair every other month. Dr. Wright performed my third RC today, and I couldn't be happier. I opted for the nitrous oxide, not because I have a particular fear of dentistry or the pain of the needle. I never had that option in the Air Force and think it's an awesome addition. Sure you feel the sting of the needle and the burning as the anesthetic spreads. You. Just. Don't. Care. The procedure was painless, and I was out of the chair less than an hour after I walked in the door. I guess in the past it used to be much worse, but nowadays there's no need to fear this procedure. You know what's worse than a root canal? The excruciating pain my cracked tooth was causing me before Dr. Wright fixed me up. Come here, you'll leave numb but happy!

He encourages people to "buckle up," which saves lives. This tells me that he's not just a dentist, but an invested member of the community, who is committed to helping others and to trying to make this world a better place. That shows character. Dr. Scallion provided only the restorative portion of the plan ($27,100). I was then told the surgical fee -- which would be performed by a completely separate, independent provider (Dr. Burnett) -- would need to be obtained on my own, and would require an additional paid consultation at that office. This two-office billing arrangement was never disclosed before I paid. When I requested a refund based on the broken promise, I was told the consultation "was provided" and no refund would be issued. I contacted over 40 providers during this process. This was the only one that misrepresented what the consultation fee would deliver. Proceed with caution -- ask specifically whether surgery and restorative are billed by the same practice before paying any fee.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I have never had such a horrible dental…read moreexperience in my life. I have had numerous dental procedures throughout my life including many root canals. Most of which I was able to go right back to work or daily routine. This was so bad I was sick, dizzy, in tremendous pain and had to leave my vehicle and have my husband come pick me up. The procedure was more painful than the pain I had going in. The pain after was also worse than the original pain. Not only was the procedure horrible and painful the dentist (if you can call him that) was in no way in control of the situation. He became frustrated with the fact that I can't take pain meds because they make me sick. When my husband asked about prescribing Zofran to help with nausea and vomiting he had no idea what that was and had to ask his assistant if he could prescribe it and told her to go look it up. He kept saying the worse you hurt before you come in the worse you will hurt when you leave. I went there for relief and ended up with nothing short of misery. All that being said I want to be clear that I don't leave reviews because I don't want my opinion to sway someones decision but please beware of this place. It's a bad place.
