I went to Dr. Guerra for a new retainer because my bottom wire broke and fell out (scary feeling, I was brushing my teeth one day and I literally thought one of my teeth fell out). I told Dr. Guerra about the wire retainer that I had and he told me about the different types of retainers I had to choose from. I didn't even know there were options. I thought there was just one kind, the metal wire. I decided on the acrylic mouth piece which I highly recommend to anyone who has to wear a retainer for the rest of your life. No digging those sharp picks in your fillings until you squeal like a pig. He treats you like a person instead of a piggy bank with teeth. His office has modern equipment and nice staff. You can even watch TV while getting your teeth worked on. The prices are very reasonable and he is honest with you. This is not a dentist who will conduct dental work that you do not need. He lists the options, the prices, and you choose. Too many dentists and doctors feel the need to dictate what they want you to do, but not Dr. Guerra. He doesn't accept dental insurance and will tell you that it is not worth it. Instead he will help set you up with a payment plan, because it's a better value.
