We were directed by the ER to have her seen by an orthopedic surgeon within 2 days. We call the following morning and were informed by the answering service that no one would be taking info for appointments until Tuesday morning due to the holiday weekend. Giving them the benefit of the doubt called back at 8:35am on Tuesday morning got stayed on hold (opted not to wait for a call back) approx 40 min and finally spoke to receptionist who told us that she would be contacting Dr. Holtkamp's office and that someone would call us back in the afternoon. Again we gave them the benefit of the doubt, and since no one had called back we tried again just after noon Wednesday this time we went ahead and stayed put in for a call back the indication was 40 min., however the phone did not ring for over 2hr 45min and sadly my wife as not able to answer in time. They left a message that put us back in the cycle. I called back and this time I waited until someone picked up her name was Rebecca, she promised that she would follow up herself and call back the next morning. As of 12:07 we have now been on hold for another 1 hour waiting for someone to pick up. Epic disregard for patient care. My wife has been without pain medication since the injury since the medicine that she was given caused her to itch, the hand on the arm that the fracture is in continues to swell. Can't speak for the doctors but Ortho Illinois scheduling is complete garbage absolutely the worst communications, follow up that i have encountered in any business in my life. I would not take a sick rat to this group.

First it's 6 week to receive the check, then it's 2 more weeks, then it's the check is on it's way, then it's the check hasn't been mailed, then it will be sent out Friday, July 26th and still no check. The Supervisor Anna in billing has been contacted four times and she says there is no one to talk to but her. She finally gave us a check number to watch for - still watching! How in the world do you get money back they should not have kept in the first place? Shame on us for paying the invoice promptly and actually more than was due.

I called and emailed a request for him to call me about my lost results. Dr. Krcik refused to call me as a patient under his direct care. When I emailed him in the livewell app, I got a respond from his staff saying "He will never call you". When I contacted the CEO to complain I was just treated like a criminal and later Dr. Krcik recommended me to another doctor, just to get me out of his hair. He falsified his appointment notes to make it seem he was more helpful than he was. Dr. Krcik wasted my time, money and allowed my prolonged pain for over 6 months. His facility in South Elgin is disorganized, the staff are self righteous and Dr. Krcik only cares about himself.

She then told me I would need someone with me post op for 24-48 hours, and I stated I live alone and there is really no one, he immediate response was (direct quote) "Then you cant have surgery, can you?". When I asked for an office manager, I was connected with this extremely rude person, who wasnt listening at all. I hung up - had enough. What a shame when doctor's offices are run by these kind of entitled people. When you go to a doctor, you expect to be treated with respect by the people on the office, when this doent happen, RUN LIKE HELL.....
