They came out an gave me a competitive bid and explained everything they would do for that bid, fill all exterior cracks, caulking all windows, securing trim and siding as needed, pressure washing, two FULL coats of paint (not spraying it once and then back rolling but two complete coats)!. They, like all painters were out 2-3 months, but luckily they had a job that had to be rescheduled due to a construction delay and fit me in. The crew tapped everything perfectly (no overspray) and painted the exterior. After each task, (first coat, second coat, trim work, etc) the asked me to inspect their work before progressing to the next task- AMAZING RIGHT? Then after I had inspected the entire job and gave my approval, the owner of Paint Pro's -Keith came out and did his own inspection, he saw a couple of things he didn't like (it looked fine to me) and had his crew redo a couple of spots. Couldn't be happier with Paint Pro's , don't do what i did and get a slightly less expensive alternative only to have to fire that person and find a company like Paint Pro's Even if you have to wait a bit , it is well worth the wait.

Keith and his crew did a fantastic job of communication from the initial bid all the way through to the final walk through and did everything that was expected of them. Not only did their bid use the very best grade of Sherwin-Williams paints but, their attention to every little detail, quality of their workmanship and punctuality in getting the project completed in a very timely manner were all top notch! Yes, they are a bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. The team that painted my house was prompt, skilled, neat and excellent at all parts of the task. I am so happy with the result. A few years ago we had Webfoot install heat cables on our roof in Bend, OR…read more The first year the Bend winter was mild thus we did not need to use the cables to remove snow from our roof. However, the next winter had more snow. We turned on the cables and noticed that there was no snow being removed from our roof. When we called Webfoot to let them know that the cables were not working as promised; they had a representative who came out to visit us. He told us that Webfoot was not responsible for the incorrect sizing of the cables as they hired a sub contractor as the electrician. Basically they said, "tough luck" your on your own. We removed the cables when we added a new roof the next year. I would not recommend Webfoot for any of their services as they told us that it was our responsibility, not Webfoot's. A waste of money. The…read moreonly issue we had was actually pretty funny... the crew 'locked' us out of the house when we left for something (they had covered all the front entrances with plastic/paper). After that we learned to leave an escape route on the side they weren't working on. :) Super nice guys. Very respectful and easy to work with. Daniel came back in person to check on things and to let us know that they'd be an extra day because they ran out of some trim paint. I'll be giving them a ring when our other house needs paint. No second thoughts on that!

So, I went to my computer and did a quick search and found Five Star Painting of Bend. I requested a quote through Yelp and they responded in under an hour. The representative walked me through the process and arrived to estimate the project later that day. The estimate went well and I appreciated the willingness to work with me on various issues around the house. The job took just a little over a week and it looked fantastic! I almost didn't want to sell it anymore. In addition to painting the kitchen windows, doors, hand rail, balusters, Ryan also repaired damaged door jams, replaced three broken floor tiles, installed new kitchen cabinet hardware and even replaced a small section of wall in my laundry room. However; one of the reasons I selected this business (and paid more than other bids) is because of the 2-year warranty that they offered, which turned out to be useless. When the 2-year mark arrived, it was like pulling teeth to get Adam to honor his warranty. He would ghost me for long stretches. After several months of nagging, I did eventually get him to come out, but he had one crew member who spent about 1.5 hours working on the bubbled areas (and there were lots!). Adam assured me his crew would sand/scrape the bubbled areas, but they didn't do that. The guy just slapped paint over the spots. Obviously, that isn't going to hold. Now, I am faced with fixing the mess myself. All of that nagging for 1.5 hours of work by one guy! They also wouldn't fix the front door which had not fared well over the 2 years and the wood was splitting. If you care at all about the warranty, I would skip this contractor. And I certainly will NOT be a repeat customer.
