Dan is a creative, caring, and communicative business owner. His team, led by Seth, was an absolute pleasure to work with - they did a truly fantastic job and were so nice and helpful throughout. After they were done, we had a small issue with drainage (because right after they laid down the patio, there were torrential downpours for days, not allowing our pavers to settle). I'm not kidding when I say within five minutes of emailing Dan on a Friday evening to let him know, he called us to say he and Seth were coming over right away to take a look. Because of continued bad weather, they had to come back a few times over the next few weeks to make sure everything was good. Yes, they made our patio a little slice of heaven, but we were actually the most impressed with their post-project attentiveness and customer-focused desire to make everything right. Horrible first Impression Found ad in Clipper Magazine,…read morecalled and spoke to a woman and set an appointment for the next week for an estimate. Never got a confirmation call. When no one showed up at set appointment time, I waited 5 minutes and called just to confirm that someone was on their way. No one answered phone. Had to call twice. Finally someone called me back, said person who was supposed to come for appointment was unable to come because they had a concrete job that someone else didn't show up for so my estimator had to replace their other no show. While I understand that things happen, zero communication is unacceptable. The woman who called me back said she couldn't call me to alert me that no one was showing up for my appointment because she didn't know the estimator was not going to show up! If this is how they try to earn business, I can't imagine what you would get if you actually went ahead and hired them for a job.
