I had a new windshield installed in my Jeep at Mark's. It started whistling at 45 mph and continued to get louder over the next few days. I called to have it fixed and the woman answering the phone said "just come by and a technician will ride with you to pinpoint the problem " so I did. After some time they locate the leak and scheduled an appointment. It was discussed to put silicone on the inside between glass and dash and I specifically said NO!! I DONT WANT BLACK GUNK ON MY DASH!! So they ordered another windshield to have on hand in case mine broke in the removal and reinstalling process. The appointment was even rescheduled once because windshield wasn't there yet. Jump to today. Day of rescheduled appointment and I call 1/2 hour before appointment to make sure all is good and Jeep can sit in rain after appointment and was told all is good. I sat waiting for 1 1/2 hour while they "worked" on my Jeep. I go out to my finished Jeep only to fine a STRIP OF WET SILICONE! Between Glass and dash!!!! And was then told that they DIDn'T have a replacement windshield after all and so they DIDN't remove and reset my windshield! Only did exactly what I had told them I WASNT OK WITH!! Silicone!!! I had a fantastic customer experience with Mark's! I called on a Thursday and was given an appointment for that same Saturday. Customer service win number one. The gentleman that assisted me was very friendly and knowledgeable. About two hours after drop off, my phone rang and it was the same gentleman letting me know that the windshield that they had pulled for my truck was not the correct one. This was 100% my fault, as I had stated that the truck was not equipped with some thing that it was equipped with. He offered to not only sell me the correct one at the same price, he made arrangements to do it at my home on Tuesday. Customer service win number two. He then thanked me for my patience and understanding even though it was my fault that they had the wrong glass to begin with. Customer service win number three! I contacted Mark's Mobile Glass to get a new windshield installed on my vehicle. They showed up and did the job with no issues. The next day or so it rained and we discovered the windshield was leaking directly above the steering wheel. I contacted them to let them know about the problem and they said we'd have to bring the vehicle in to the shop so they could perform a water test and backfill or remove and reset the windshield. I told them I work full time and my wife stays home with our six children so it wasn't feasible to wait in a waiting room for an hour or more while they fixed the leak. I requested they come to the house to do the repair to which they obliged. I asked for an ETA for the technician so I could tell my wife and they said they were "like the cable guy, it would be between 8 and 5". The technician showed up around 1:30 or so. My wife showed him were it was leaking and he said he'd take care of it. Awhile later, my wife looked outside to see the technician was gone and the van doors were left wide open. Confused, my wife called me and explained that she didn't know if the work was even done. I had to them call Mark's Mobile Glass and see if the work had been done. They informed the work had been done and they didn't know why he left the doors open. Low and behold, the windshield still leaked from the same location. They advised we'd have to bring the vehicle in to the shop. I scheduled a time (2:00) for my wife to go get the work done. My wife showed up on time and was showed the waiting room, which, as she described was a closed in room with a circle of chairs all facing each other like and AA meeting. This makes it VERY awkward for a nursing mother to breastfeed an infant while she waits for her car to be done. The job that was supposed to have taken an hour took two hours and when complete, the technician told her it was done and handed her the keys. No apologies for it taking so long. No apologies for the inconvenience. No, thanks for your business. I really wanted to keep my business local and support the smaller businesses. I suppose I had high expectations from a small local business, after all, the radio and TV commercials all painted them in a great light. What happened to businesses appreciating their customer? Next time, I'll go with SafeLite or someone else. read more

They are nice people and we're great with us, my windshield is leaking water though. I'm from out of state so no I didn't try and get them to fix it and I'm sure they would have. Not everything can be perfect so I'm not mad at them, just wish I was closer to have them fix instead now I'm having to go somewhere else and hope for the best. read more

I had an appointment at 9:30 to get a chip repaired. I dropped my car off at 9. I had other errands to run. I told them I would pick it up around 10:30. The front lady said, if you want to wait, it will only take 22 minutes. I said I'll just come back. I came back at 10:40 and they hadn't even started on it. The front desk lady went into the garage to ask about it. She came back and said the Freightliner is going first and then your car. Again, I had an appointment at 9:30. I left and she said she would call when it was done. she called around 12:30 and said it was finished. Day after, it's not fixed, it's cracking again! read more

I haved used Marks a couple of times for glass replacement. However with thw ewxwbt high winds I had a crank window blow open at 3 in the morning. We managed to tape it shut for the most part but it was cold. My conos told me to call Marks even though I explained the window was not broken , the crank had broken. Marks could not have kinder or more helpful! T Even though they were unable to repair it, they sent a young man to see what he could do to help me. He managed to get it closed, caulked it tight and said to let him know if there is anything else. Marks Moblie people could not have been more helpful. kind and the best customer service I have had in ages. I will sing their praises to all who listen. Yep, sounds like what I'm looking for, too bad for me Mark's didn't live up to any of their lofty claims on their website. I was looking for someone that provided a mobile service to come and replace a rear passenger window that was busted when a thief broke in the day before. I called the general 800 number on a Wednesday, and spoke with a pleasant lady and told her what I needed done. She told me they could get me in on Friday because they would have to order the glass. She quoted a great price so I didn't bother calling anyone else (they were the first I called). She told me I would get a call before they came over. So I bided my time until Friday, as I couldn't go anywhere. Woke up early Friday and waited for the call. No call, so around 11:30am I called to ask if they got the glass in for my car. I was told that they were unable to get in touch with those that were evidently supposed to come out, but that they were sure that the glass had come in. Ok, waited some more but no call. Called again at 3:15 pm because their work hours were almost over for the day, and asked if they could tell me if they were still going to show as I was concerned as it was so late in the day and it was Friday. The person I spoke with this time said that they were still out on their day's route, so was told that they would "probably" still show. Ok, fingers crossed and I waited, and waited until it was going on 7:00 pm. I hoped that the case was they would get to everyone that they had scheduled for the day, even if they had to work over given it was Friday. I called the last time at 6:45 really not expecting anyone to answer, which they didn't. I wish I could give 0 stars, because that's the reliable service they gave me, without so much as a courtesy call to tell me that they wouldn't be able to make it, what was going on or anything else. So now I'll have to rent a car for the weekend, while I research for another mobile glass company that will hopefully come if an appointment is made. They say word of mouth is the best form of advertising, good or bad, so all I can say is call them at your own risk as they are very unprofessional and unreliable to say the least and just left me hanging. If you like wind noise and water in your car these are the guys to call. Tried twice to fix and they said nothings wrong. My mechanic had to call them and tell them it was raining in my car and ruining the electrical system. Jarod at Marks mobile glass said the leak was obvious. But he decided patching a bad seal was good enough. Jerks made me wait for them to order the glass while it rained AGAIN. Then didn't do it. Thanks for the wasted gas, the wasted time and the 45 minute drive both ways that was not necessary. Anybody know a glass place that stands behind the job done? read more

I called Mark's Mobile (in Columbia) in October 2013 to have the kitchen' window glass replaced. The guy who answered the phone did not seem very happy after he learned in was a small job and said it might be a couple of day before someone can come and take measurements I said it I can for two days and after a week someone showed up and they said it might be another week to order the glass. I called two weeks later and the lady that answered the phone was so rude. I called the Jeff City location and asked to speak with Mark but he was gone for lunch. I was told they would give him message to call me when he is back from lunch and it has been over 4 months now and no one called back. Mark Mobile Glass is very inconsiderate company! They told me yesterday that they would be here in the morning....I waited and waited until 11:30 am...I called the tech he said he was held up with another customer and could get to me by 1:00pm....excuses me that is not a morning appointment and I HAVE to call to see what is holding them up!! And I had another appointment at 1pm. This morning I waiting again....I assumed that I would be getting a phone call around 8:00 telling me what time he will be here because I am 1st on the list!...I call at 8:30 to see when he will be out (because I don't want to wait all morning again to what time someone might show up!) the tech is waiting on some glass to be delivered so I waiting again! My problem with this is THEY DONT FEEL IT IS NECESSARY TO COMMUNICATE WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS!! All it takes is someone to let them know what is going on and give them a estimated time period!
