Loved the location and the fact we had a full kitchen and easy access to all the amenities, especially Publix right across the street! On the down side. We had to buy some trash bags, there was an exposed power strip that was very overloaded and when we opened the dishwasher to look for coffee cups it was full of stale dirty water and mold on the dishes inside. I'd think for the $65 cleaning fee, the place would be clean. Other than that bit of grossness, we enjoyed our stay.

Elevators are constantly out and not fixed for months, the gym isn't cleaned and the wipes are rarely refilled. The outside area isn't always clean and dogs pee right at the front doors and it's a nightmare on hot days, which there is a lot of those. The staff is not helpful and mostly clueless. When we moved our some packages were accidentally sent there and they barely helped, refused to look at cameras. Turns out a neighbor took them and they refused to help. Camden has so much potential but it's not always worth the money since there is newer nicer apartments now with better staff and amenities

There's always some kind of issue... water is turned off due to plumbing issues, elevators not working because they are too cheap to fix it the correct way. And never any compensation for the inconvenience of these issues. Sure the views are great but its an unsafe neighborhood. I was assaulted, had a gun pointed at me, and my paddleboards were stolen... yet management did nothing about it. Still no security is in place at the complex eventhough they promised security when I signed my lease. It no longer exists because they are trying to "cut costs". Again, I was assalted by a neighbor & nothing was done about it. My paddleboards were also stolen on the property and they didn't do anything to help me recover them. None of the security cameras work or they are conveniently pointed in the wrong direction so Sand Cove is never to blame. Criminals live there & guns have been pointed at neighbors, yet management does nothing. Packages also get stolen all the time by the mailboxes. Such poor management. I've also never felt such discrimination. Wendy, the apartment manager, will tell you exactly what you want to hear so you will sign the lease... then you are on your own! They do as little as possible & only fix the important things in the cheapest way possible. They've also walked into my apartment unannounced numerous times. No privacy. They've raised the rent and charge for other things at any time (storage, carports, water/sewer). YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

We arrived to the apartment complex and right off the back I knew this was the one. The exterior of the building was in great shape, the views were incredible, surveillance was all around the building, and the cherry on top was that we got a couple waives from the residents pulling in. I WAS SOLD BEFORE I EVEN SPOKE TO WENDY!! LOL. So.......I call Wendy (the property manager) and she says "I'm standing outside and i'm behind you".....(TALK ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE....SHE WAS WAITING FOR OUR ARRIVAL AND MADE US FEEL SO WELCOMING !!!!!!! We walked into the office and the rest was history. We toured a couple units and we picked one out that we absolutely are in love with and enjoy very much. Wendy has been such a sweetheart to work with and she's very professional, very quick to respond to your emails and picks up right away when you call her, she's honest/transparent and most importantly she's amazing at what she does and I truly enjoy every moment I interact with Wendy. She TRULY CARES ABOUT HER JOB AND YOU! She's by far the best property manager I've ever dealt with and she truly deserves recognition for this! Everyone in the building has been so welcoming, friendly and it's just an amazing community! The maintenance guy is another story LOL (I forgot his name my apologies we just moved in 2 days ago) but long story short he's absolutely amazing and deserves a shout out also. I needed to borrow a pair of pliers so I went to Wendy's office and she called him and she said he'll meet you at your unit. Literally by the time I got to my door, he was there with 2 pairs of pliers and said I could keep one and return the other one to his unit on site.I asked "you're giving me these? " He replied with "yes" and I was just so thankful to him and he was just so great!!!!! He told me his unit number so after I was done, I went to drop them off to his unit and he introduced me with welcoming arms to meet his wife. WHAT GREAT PEOPLE AND ONCE AGAIN MADE ME FEEL AT HOME AND SAFE. Thank you so much to everyone at Sand Cove Apartments, Wendy and maintenance guy LOL It's been such a great time and we are so thankful for y'all. Gio/Griffin
