That day came and the moment we had our date and venue I reached out to book with Jonathan for our special day on 10/19/2018. Our magical day has come and gone and we can't say enough good things about Dappy Hays! From the regular communication, customizing of our logo with two different photos from our trip to Venice a year prior, selecting props that reflected our individual tastes and personalities...Jonathan was incredibly responsive and collaborative every step of the way! We only had to make sure there was enough space at our reception venue and a chair and Dappy Hays provided everything else!!! Our wedding guests were continuously commenting on how much fun the team was, they would then tell us "we can't wait for you to watch our video message! That was so unique and fun!" Even a couple individuals asking for their contact information for future events! At the end of our night, Jonathan presented us with our memory album of photo-strips with notes from guests, as well as our USB drive of all the photos and videos, along with big hugs of well wishes for each of us! Flipping through that completed album together and seeing and reading so much love from our family and friends before turning in for the night was the greatest end to our perfect day! Her guests LOVED it, and now my daughter has some really great photos of people who were at the wedding. Dappy Hays' staff came dressed professionally (no jeans or T shirts), were there on time and tore down without disturbing the vibe of the wedding -- I don't think I even noticed they were packing up. Their selection of props was great -- it brought out a side of my son that I'd never seen, and that's a great thing, because he's normally very quiet and shy, and boy, did he let loose! I laugh every time I se those pictures. :-) All in all, we were really happy to have gotten the photo booth, and I'd hire Dappy Hays again if I needed them.

I hired them for my sister's wedding, which totally saved the reception. EVERYONE got tehir photo taken by it - sometimes several - and my sister now has a picture of everyone at her wedding. The best part? No one took their shirt off in the booth (mom has some truly awful friends and relatives, absolute trash). The other great part was it kept the kids entertained so they weren't running around knocking the old folks down. Children and the elderly don't mix well, they're too much alike. Also, they show up at things in their cool Volkswagen and you can get your photo there. What event doesn't need a photo booth? When I'm elected Pope? Yeah, people will want to take photos. When Secretary Clinton is inaugurated the first and second time as President of the United States? Pictures or it didn't happens. Grandma's funeral? I don't know if they have the gimmicky props that other rental places offer (obviously not needed on Halloween). I've always found those things a little un sanitary anyway. He never rushed us to do anything but made sure everything got done in a timely manner so guests weren't complaining. I met with Terri multiple times and he made it very clear…read morehe wanted this day to be how I dreamed it and would make whatever happen that he could to make my dream come true. When the night came, a friend of Terri's- Marcus- was the DJ for my wedding. The night went well, our guests had a great time and majority of everyone danced. There was however, a few things as the bride that I was unhappy with. For example, he didn't play our correct walk in song, he didn't pronounce our name right, I had to ask him to dismiss for dinner when it was in the notes, I had to ask him to play a certain song that we had outlined in our notes to be played following the mother/son dance. I had to ask him to start the garter/bouquet toss when that's was also in the notes I gave him. There was only one slow song played the whole night. Overall the night went very well, but I felt I had to push him to keep the night rolling. After the conclusion of the wedding, Terri reached out to me asking how Marcus did. I explained all this to Terri; basically saying Marcus did well and was very professional, but there were things I was displeased with. I receive no response from Terri after this, and instead I receive paragraphs from Marcus criticizing everything I mentioned and then some. He blamed everything I mentioned back on me as well as calling me... and I quote "nitpicky". He called me rude for never offering him food or drinks throughout the night... as a bride I don't feel like I should have to think about if the DJ is catered to. He never once apologized for anything. After paying $1700 for this service, I could not be more upset over the disrespect I have received. I may have had a different outlook if Terri had been there, or at least apologetic about my concerns.
