We were passing through this town, and had a craving for some afternoon affogato. Found this place after a quick search. It's a little coffee shop, gallery with some international food goodies for sale as well as coffee and food. The affogato hit the spot, pretty good espresso with ice cream and a touch of what I think is rose at the top on the cream. Happy eating! read more

This was surprisingly bad. The bread was burnt and tasted like oil. There was very little cheese or it melted off. We got two different panini sandwiches to split and share. Both were burnt and had no flavor. No ingredients to make anything stand out even if not burnt. The salad is just 2-3 bites. For $18 this is a rip off. You can get an amazing sandwich with more stuff and way more flavor in Seattle with their high rent and high minimum wage for this price. Skip Shelton for food. Ever since Marmo opened I have been absolutely obsessed with the breakfast sandwich. It's unlike any breakfast sandwich I've tried. And I'm a breakfast burrito/sandwich connoisseur so I know my stuff! I seriously get this sandwich every Friday as a treat for making it through the week. I've personally tried to recreate them (sorry Marmo) but nothing compares to this legendary sandwich. Not only is the breakfast sandwich amazing, they have the coolest art pieces! I appreciate the fact they change out the art often. Another thing I love about Marmo is the outdoor seating. It's so peaceful in the mornings. Last thing to rave about it the cute little section of local goodies from wines, to cheeses, to Ekone tinned fish. (My favorite is the smoked salmon.) read more

Everyone I've chatted with working there is friendly and attentive. First saw Marmo on TikTok and was surprised I lived by such a cute little modern cafe in small town Shelton. Marmo is an amazing gem to find in downtown Shelton. Top rate natural, locally sourced and carefully prepared food items and delicious coffee are only the beginning. A calm peaceful atmosphere, brightened by a variety of art projects that rotate among local artists and artisans. More recently craft classes, poetry readings and other groups and activities have been added to their schedule during and sometimes after business hours. With enough community support the city can begin to form an entire art district anchored by Marmo. I'm wishing them great success and enjoy the opportunities I have to pop in for a beverage and more. read more

My new favorite coffee shop in Shelton! I have tried every other spot in town and am always left so disappointed with their bitterness that Starbucks became my go-to...so I was absolutely elated when I sipped my first mocha here and it was absolutely divine! I also love that you can sit and enjoy it in a real mug or have the option of taking it to go. Hopefully as others begin to patronize the establishment their hours will be extended and more alternative milks will be offered. Right now it is just a weekend treat for me due to the hours, and I look forward to it all week! They also offer locally made treats! read more

This place is a gem! The owner is so sweet and welcoming and is using her cafe as a means to bring the community together! I can believe I didn't find this place sooner but I will definitely turning into a regular. The service is amazing, the food makes you drool and the atmosphere is so inviting. Every weekend there are scheduled events where the community comes together and expresses themselves artistically and to think that the owner Isa initiated this is so amazing. And the employee Karyssa! She's such a bundle of warmth. She's so sweet and helpful and patient. It's cute but the vibes are a little sterile. Stopped in midday since my coworkers wanted coffee. I had a breakfast sandwich that was tasty but not $13 tasty. Seemed like a jimmy dean but with chives. The one barista was nice but it got busy and she was scrambling. read more

Marmo is amazing and I can't believe it is here. Like a third wave coffee shop meets gallery meets micro gourmet shop, which makes it three for three in figuring out what isn't on offer in Shelton. Marmo has amazing drinks (Olympia Coffee Roasters, also available by the bag, great machine, technique, good conversation at the counter!), perfect snacks like ricotta toast with basil and olive oil, art books to take home or gift, and culinary treats and host-y gifts like living vinegars, chile crisp, etc. I love Shelton, and I loved it when it didn't have all of this, but I'm very excited. read more

So delighted to find this excellent craft coffee shop in Shelton after a day of hiking and exploring, serving Olympia Coffee Roasters Coffee. My cortado was perfect, with a seltzer on the side for cleansing the palette, so thoughtful. Decor is clean and modern with a gallery feel, art, art books and other gourmet and craft items for sale as well as breads and cookies. Long tables in one area were being utilized by larger groups for coffee and conversation, a great community vibe. Smaller tables for private/quiet study or intimate chats available as well. Barista was friendly, knowledgeable, and made excellent coffee. Go here! This town is blessed to have such a quality coffee experience, make sure to frequent it!
