I thought this was a wonderful contribution towards those who may be in need around this time of year. Helping families in need is a wonder and I knew I just HAD to donate my loafers. I was so excited to make a poor persons day but of course. This church would not let me donate my shoes due to the fact that they were "too worn". I understand that there is a point of shoes being too worn, but these babies were not. A few spots of mud never hurt anyone, especially those in need. A person who is running out of shoes does not care about a speck of mud, but play Grace Chapel. It honestly made me question my religion, but I am an avid God worshipper, so it only messed up my day. I love god still and I actually drove into Philly to give my shoes away because I wasn't going to let them go to waste. Thanks a lot Grace Chapel for taking my gas.

This review is for their Holiday Craft Fair…read more Fellow Yelper Dee M, FDC, Young Einstein and I have gone to this craft fair two years in a row now! The fair is held in early December each year. Held in their school gymnasium, it's not as large as some of the other fairs, which I like, and yet it also has a good variety of craft items to choose from - everything from Tupperware to handmade knitted items. The fair is well run, with light snacks offered, a generous raffle - lots of different things to 'enter' for, and it's laid out decently. There's a table full of items made by the different catholic school grades to buy, which is really cute, and there's one or two packaged food vendors - my favorite being Yia Yia Nicki's Greek Bread - mmmm. The vendors are all very nice and their prices reasonable. Good amount of parking in their church & school lots and along Lawrence Road and the side streets if needed. I think this is becoming a tradition for us as I'm already making plans for next year.

I have grown in my faith here and met some really wonderful people to do the faith journey with. Unique to this church is that they have a Prayer Room where you may go and receive prayer at the close of every Sunday service and their community groups all have a Kingdom Partner as a way to extend the hands and feet of Jesus into the community. As a creative person myself (and lover of the music and arts), I personally love that there are so many artists, musicians, songwriters, poets to connect with. But first and foremost, it's so rare to find a church that really puts Jesus first and cares about the community.
