Marquis TPC is a beautiful community with beautiful views, managed by a wonderful company. This apartment complex is not like the rest as it is quiet, small, and private. completely disrespectful management. first off, on a sprinkler check: the management gives us 24 hours for a notice. Well that is fine. though, when they wait a few days to make a notice again and then that day try opening the deadbolts into he tenant' residence like mine and i am telling them that i am coming to the door after getting out of the shower, that is complete disrespectful. They are not caring about the tenants. As well i have told the front desk about tons of cobwebs and spiders in the gym, and they tell me that they will look into it. Another thing, I have email saying that they were more worried about the outside looks to this place than the security of the complex. They do not put in lights for at night. it is dangerous among dangerous driving where there are literally NO lights coming into the gate and people walking or walking dogs at night all the time. 2 cars a few months ago were broken into. I have the email from Renae stating that they have not updated codes to any security cameras since buying the complex in 2017. They were not prepared for the waters problems and the ice storm. if they stopped making the outside of this place 'looking nice' compared to their words, maybe putting the money in the best spot would have made life here better. Cant wait to move out in August. Also, i paid rent last month in march. the email was not sent to me that i paid it. I paid again. that means double pay. i called my bank and they reversed 1 of the payments. The CWS : Marquis at TPC fined me $100 telling me that it cost them $100. i speak to real estate agents and they are ashamed of how this complex plays their own game sin management. I called back and they lowered it to $50. Just shameful. In the morning certain people and their dogs in bldg 3 are loud as hell. the dogs do not stop barking. The drivers are not that great here as well. Stay away from here. The worst management a person can work with. Jimmy and Ranae as well as CWS has got to be the worst. Elevators broken every day for months. I have now lived here for 2 years and the management does not care one bit. If I were you I would move. Many of the people are leaving or have already left. It just get worst. I will not waste more time describing how bad it was to move 13 hours instead of 4 hours due to NO elevators. We love calling this complex home! And this is coming from someone who SWORE she'd never live in an apartment again. The staff is very friendly and helpful, which is a huge deal when you're renting somewhere. If there's an issue with something in your place, it's easy to put in an order online to get it fixed, and they show up within 24-48 hours every time. I've come to know the guys who come to fix things, as well, so I'm not concerned with them entering my home. They're very nice and respectful. We've noticed the company working on things like landscape and fixing up the area too, so I think that they bought it from another company who maybe wasn't keeping things up as well as they should? So far, everything to do with the current company and the buildings has been wonderful since my fiance and I have been here. I have not lived in apartments for well over 20 years. I have to say that I really feel comfortable with this property and especially the management. Rene and Jimmy are always polite and genuine in wanting to help or answer a question. This specific property is built like condos I've had in the past. Quality granate counter tops, 12 foot ceilings (unless you get on the 4th floor, then 16 ft ceilings) jacuzzi tubs, hard wood floors, and come carpet floors, SS appliances, some apartments have an 8 burner gas stove and 2 ove. ...check them out and see why people stay here. Thank you Staffing at the marquis, the complex has been without water for more than 24 hours due to a waterline being broken in the city. The staff has kept us updated on all progress and today for lunch gave pizza and water to everyone. Jimmy assisted me in bringing water home for me and my pets. Jimmy and Renee continue to assist us and keep us updated as needed. They are always friendly. Also I want to include maintaince. My air conditioning stopped working over the weekend. Manuel came quickly replaced parts and stayed until apartment returned to blowing cold air. Thanks Manuel for your fast service on your day off for one of our hottest days this month. read more

I have lived in Marquis at TPC for the last two years. For the most part, I have been very happy here. The management is great and they are very prompt in handling any service problems. Nearly always within the next business day. They are very competent and do their very best to see that residents are taken care of. The only negative that I have found is with the pets. There are some very irresponsible pet owners here. There is a dog area for them to play and relieve themselves. I think you are also supposed to pick up after them but very few seem to do that. The other day I had to walk across the grassy area to get into the garage and there is dried up dog feces everywhere. So it appears that no one picks it up, resident or employee. Some time you get into the elevator and the odor of dirty dog is so overwhelming that you cannot breathe. The only odor worse than dirty dog is wet dirty dog on a rainy day. It also seems to be getting worse instead of better. read more

The management at this community is fantastic! They keep residents well informed and are very clear so there is little room for confusion. I have lived here for almost a year and I have never been subjected to "false alarm evacuations" there has been fire alarm testing done, which I received an email notice about 1 week prior to it happening and again notice the day before. I have never had an issue with the trash service. The allowed amount is 2 bags but there have been times that I've set out 3 bags after a gathering or something of the sort and it has never been an issue. If the trash service is not coming due to inclement weather or holidays apartment management has always informed me via email. I have never had my apartment walked to search for contraband. There was a walk through to check the fire alarm systems and fire extinguishers in my home it was legitimate testing that took barely anytime at all. Which I was also made aware of in advance! All in all, it is a wonderful community to live in maintenance is great they are always available to help with a great attitude. Management is wonderful very helpful very knowledgable. They are always planning an event for the residents to enjoy like wine tastings, pizza nights, margaritas and chips with salsa. I love it here and have no idea what some of these people are complaining about. Management and maintenance definitely go above and beyond what most apartment complexes do for their residents. read more

It's a shame that such a beautiful property is mismanaged so badly. During our lease we were subject to false-alarm evacuations about twice a month and the elevator was out of order for weeks on end. The trash service has unreasonable rules about the amount of trash allowed each apartment, the residents are fined, and the trash is left to stink up the otherwise spotless halls. There were constant "walk-through"s to check for contraband and "conduct testing" but ended up only being intrusive and time consuming. The maintenance team and Jimmy, the leasing agent, we're always polite and helpful, but management was confrontational, unprofessional, and deceptive. The handful of times we interacted with her were wholly unpleasant and ended up costing us money down the road. As I said, it's a shame such a beautiful property is run so badly read more

The Marquis at TPC was a great place to live. It was previously owned by someone else and I was there for the transition. The new owners / management have really made necessary changes. The apartments are beautiful with high ceilings and designated parking. These features were very important to me. The management and maintenance team were awesome. No place is perfect, but they always strive for perfection and address all issues promptly. I highly recommend these apartments. I only left because I bought a house. The move out process was also smooth. They did not try to nickel and dime me like so many apartments do. read more

We signed up for a 30 day lease with this apartment. They were a great option because they allowed dogs and we needed something temporary while we closed on our house. After 25 days, I notified them in person that we would be leaving and they told me everything is great and just to leave the keys on the counter and clean the area. So we did. After we leave, they notify us that we are being charged a $1900 reletting fee for not giving them a 30 day notice in writing, even though I talked to them in person. When asked about why they didn't let me know about the written notice, the director stated that I should have known and it's not her job to tell me. Is this really how you treat a customer? Furthermore, on their website it says if you're not happy within 30 days then they let you cut your lease early as their guarantee but this somehow doesn't apply to me. After calling them to sort it out, they did everything in their power to shift blame on us even though we told them day one that we required a 30 day lease. I am now pursuing consumer protection from attorney General and about to have to consult with an attorney due to them extorting money out of us. Do your self a favor and skip this property. read more

The new management is just as bad as the old. They can't do anything for any problem or request you have. My car was broken into twice and I got the same answer both times "There's nothing we can do". I asked what measurements can be taken to ensure it doesn't happen again, and my question was kind of ignored. Why not install exterior cameras? They're everywhere else. I asked for a parking spot in the garage (which has cameras) and they are apartment specific so that's not an option. I know they can't replace the documents or anything that was stolen but maybe up security somehow! Lord knows we're all paying a good amount to live here. Why not help us feel safe. So basically if you see something you like in someone else's car, it's a free for all. And there's nothing anyone can do about it. read more

My wife and I just recently moved here, from the first day we arrived it has been nothing short of magnificent. We were greeting by Renae, who without hesitation gave us a tour of the property and answered every question my wife and I had about possibly renting. Furthermore, her display of professionalism, passion for what she does, and eagerness to get you in the perfect home is what lead us to our decision to move here. Prior to our visit we toured 5 other properties, but none compared to The Marquis at TPC. The community is great, it's quite, the homes are exceptional and up to date, but more importantly everyone on the staff are true professionals. My husband and I have had some really bad experiences with a couple apartments but this place is the complete opposite. From day one we moved in we knew we'd be happy here. The floor plans are amazing and the actual apartments are absolutely beautiful. The staff are extremely nice and pleasant and are always making sure we are happy. The only reason I gave it a 4 Star instead of 5 is because our upstairs neighbors are very very noisy. We have made complaints but we understand there's only so much they can do, so it does make us want to move once our lease is up. read more

DO NOT RENT HERE!! After Sept 2016 they've had the worst Managers. Roof leaked for the entire time living there and was never fixed since the ceiling stains were visible in every room and on an entire wall from the ceiling to floor.  Mold was in every room and growing up the windows in Libing room and Bedroom. Someone was walking in attic above and it pushed the recess cans out of ceiling. Mold and rodents and scorpions were a constant issue. Rodent was trying to eat its way thru fire sprinkler above our bed and Manager and Maintenance never did a thing about it!! Constant lies from Regional Manager. And Manager that was there from May to Sept 2017 who we were told was fired constantly lied and had issues. Save your time, health and money and look elsewhere. Oh and the poop complaint was the truth. Halls and stairway and elevator smelled like feces or urine all the time. Every other day a dog would urinate in the elevator. If I parked in parking lot outside more than a dozen different times I would step in poop. Residents have also let their dogs poop in stairway wben its raining or cold!! Worst experience ever living here!! It took Maintenence manager 3 weeks to find wires were fried and we had no AC with a sick baby in 87 degree top floor apartment. I have proof of pictures of all complaints and video recordings. Every thing i claim i have proof to back up. Even proof of the Manager and Regional Managers lies.
