Also it had some grill accessories like spatulas. There were two rooms to browse and items out that could be played with. So the grill was high quality but also had a high price tag of $250. I could not part with the money for something I didn't feel he would play with enough. We purchased a small puzzle block and went down the street to Target. The lady that worked in there checked on us to see if we needed anything and was nice. They had some books as well but he was 4 and not really interested in them.

This is a small shop that is long and narrow with graphic novels down one row and comics (old and…read morenew) down the other. The space is a little cramped if multiple customers are shopping in the same area. The novels are displayed in easy to find order. The older comics are filed in boxes alphabetically and have some vintage items, but definitely are weighted towards more newer material. So, finding some specific older issue is hit or miss. But at least it's worth stopping in to check. The man working the front counter was friendly to customers as they entered or were leaving. He seemed willing to carry on conversations with customers that were interested in between sales as well. Note that this location doesn't sell much merchandise since there is a specialty store for toys/collectibles just a couple doors down. This is a place for reading material. It's the same toy store I love, although the location is slightly smaller than the old one. But they still have a fabulously well-curated collection of toys that kids love. They are really good at offering suggestions, too, so if you're stumped on what to get a kid for a birthday or holiday, just ask someone who works there! The staff is still really laid back about kids touching and playing with all of the toys, and they even have some tables set out specifically to play. They also offer free gift wrap with your purchase if you request it, which is why this is the place I go when I need to buy a birthday gift. It's a one-stop shop! Get the gift, get it wrapped and you're done.
