Wanted to put this review on here as I wasted my time at so many shows that promised the earth and delivered nothing. At the show I managed to get over 70% of my wedding needs sorted on the day as there was about 100 exhibitors instead of the normal 10 or 20. The catwalk shows were really good too:)) The bridal register that is free also helped out after the fayre as I get monthly emails with offers on, so decided to book my video and got 10% discount. Will definitely be recommending the March fayres to anyone that has decided to tie the knot - fab day out!

Prior to that he had travelled the world, paying his way by working in venues, restaurants and bars. This provided him with all of the insights he needed in order to develop the chocolate fountain idea into what his business interests amount to today, which is essentially pretty impressive! The Wedding Fayre Shop is a multi service operation that attempts to provide clients with a one-stop shop for all of their wedding requirements. Everything is covered from the planning stage through to the provision of the details, such as venue selection, venue decoration, caterers, photographers, music... the full kit and kaboodle! It is possible to order ice sculptures, organise dove releases and even have a snow machine on hand just in case nature looks set to let you down on the day. The Wedding Fayre Shop sends equipment all over the UK, and Paul prides himself on being able to deliver ice sculptures to Edinburgh if he's commissioned to do so... and at a fraction of what it would cost if his clients were to have placed the order with a London business. What is perhaps most astounding about this business, (other than it's already a runaway success despite the timing of its inception at the beginning of the credit crunch), is that Paul was deaf and dumb as a child, with an outlook that offered him very little to be optimistic about. By his own admission he was an angry young man, and was regularly in trouble with the authorities. Luckily, medical intervention restored his hearing, and he is now as articulate as any other ambitious business man who is keen to get on. And that's precisely what he intends to do. The plan is to further extend the client base throughout the UK, and then franchise the business in two years time. He is already considered to be an authority when it comes to weddings, and is currently in the process of producing a 50 page guide on the 'do's and don'ts' of planning a wedding. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Unfortunately we chose Andrew as our photographer, we'd seen…read morehis work but what we received was nothing like the albums he'd shown us. He arrived on the day and was rude to family and suppliers and also made inappropriate comments to young female guests about 'only fans' which they were upset and grossed out by. He left without telling us meaning we didn't get the sparkler shot we'd discussed with him. We could have dealt with all of this if the pictures we'd received back had been of a good quality but they were awful. We showed them to 2 independent photographers who agreed (as well as friends and family) that they were of poor quality and not inline with the work he shows online. We cannot understand the 5* reviews given ours and our guests experience. We made a formal complaint and thankfully got money back but it really doesn't make up for the upset and stress caused. On top of that Andrew just wouldn't accept our points and the points of other professionals. It was everything from lighting, positioning, obstructions, poor photoshopping people out of couples portraits, blurring as well... I could go on.

Andrew photographed my partners and I wedding earlier this year and he was excellent all the way…read morethrough. My wife told me he was better at being a bridesmaid than her real bridesmaid! The photographs he gave us were amazing and we the Italian album is just superb to look at. Can't recommend him highly enough.

We stumbled across the website when searching for local wedding photographers and loved the arty, modern style of the pics with a few traditional ones thrown in for good measure. The business is run by the lovely Eleanor and her assistant Jen (who has now started doing weddings herself). Eleanor met us for an informal chat and a drink in a coffee shop and brought along her extensive portfolio - gorgeous pics and black & white shots, glossy ones etc. She was so relaxed and didn't have that awful 'wedding' mentality of charging extortionate prices and being all twee. In fact the price for 8 hours of photo taking on the day and a package of multi-sized photographs, the price was brilliant. On the big day (all a bit of a happy blur now awww) Eleanor arrived early and took shots of me & bridesmaids before the ceremony - she was so patient (I'm not a natural poser) and took hundreds of pics really quickly. She really got into the spirit of our relaxed country wedding (without intruding in any way) and this shows in the glowing photos we've got to treasure for the rest of our lives. Elenor was fantastic she was so helpful from the first time we met at a wedding fair. she answered all of our questions and gave us as much time as we needed when choosing which package we wanted. Photos are so beautiful. Elenor and her second photographer Heidi photographed so many moments that would would have forgotten otherwise. our guests all said they barely noticed them there. Cant recommend these fantastic ladies highly enough!

We had 85 day guest and about 170 in the evening guest. We had all the whole house for ourselves including all the rooms fille and pre paid bar which carried on all night. We heard rumors they would run out but they certainly didnt. The food and drinks were great apart from the lamb being a bit too fatty and hardly no meat. But wouldnt mark it down for that as tasted beautiful. We had fireworks refered by orchardeligh which went down great with our guests. And we also stayed the night before in the cottages on site which was lovely. The whole weekend was amazing for us! From one Happy newly wed couple.

Stunning grounds, beautiful old house, great attention to detail in the decorand above all, wonderful service, staff and organisation. They cater for receptions from about 50 to 144, they have on site accommodation for about 120, loads of parking, a golf course, a pretty church on an island with no electricity so it has to be lit by candlesneed I go on? I will anyway civil ceremonies are held in the 'Great Hall' in front of a huge romantic fireplace (not sure how a fireplace can be romantic but I guess on your wedding day, anything can happen). This means the aisle is a little narrow to walk down, but it was cosy and we had no problems with it. They have two reception rooms connected by a wide archway for the wedding breakfast/buffet or entertainment; The Ballroom and The Blueroom. Each stunning and opulent. They only charged £5 corkage per person rather than an amount per bottle (which saved us thousands!) and the food was delicious (although my dress didn't allow much room for me to take advantage of it!). My new husband and I stayed in the 'penthouse' cottage - called the Bell Tower - for two nights. They have a village of cottages just a two minute walk from the main house. We put all our younger friends in these and several stayed an extra night for a relaxed Sunday eating pizza and singing karaoke. I can't recommend this place enough.
