Meet the Business Owner: Dr. Jeffrey M.

Dr. Jeffrey MarshDr. Marsh grew up on a farm in Wisconsin, where he attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Dr. Marsh received his Doctorate of Optometry in 1986 from Indiana University, in Bloomington, Indiana. Before graduating, he completed an externship at the Huntington Veterans Hospital, in West Virginia, as well as an externship at the Fort Campbell Army Hospital, in Kentucky. While at Indiana University, Jeff was a board member for the National Optometric Student Association. Dr. Marsh enjoys providing comprehensive family eye care, with an emphasis on ocular disease prevention, treatment, and management. Refractive surgery co-management is of great interest to him. In 1986, Dr. Marsh moved to Oshkosh, Wisconsin and started practice. Dr. Marsh is an active member of the AOA, the Wisconsin Optometric Association, and the InfantSee program. Previously, he was a member of the Wisconsin Optometric Association's Board of Directors and the Oshkosh Jaycees Board of Directors

I had to wait over an hour multiple times for my appointment. There was no apologies. Also the surgery felt rushed . I felt like I was in a production line. And the doctor actually left me with my eye under a scope and went and worked on someone else for a few minutes and came back. Very uncomfortable.

I did my best to explain it from a lay person perspective. She set my paperwork in my lap that America's Best sent over and asked me to tell her where the detail was in the paperwork. (I told her I had already removed my contacts for care). When I made mention of, and not understanding, reason for negative treatment she brought her tech back into exam. She was then able to manage her care more professionally. I still left visit feeling awful.
