It would start of soft and then get louder as I increased my speed. I got off at the Blackwell exit, just south of the Oklahoma/Kansas border and stopped at the Conoco station. They directed me to Paige garage just a quarter mile down the road. Within minutes they detected the source of the thumping, which thankfully was not an engine problem. Apparently at some point the undercarriage cover that protects the engine lost a couple of screws during my drive and was having down on the back end of it. Donny found some screws that word work and got the undercover reattached and I was on the road again...at a cost of only $10. Thank you Donny and Derry for saving my birthday week and making sure that I was going to make it up to KC for my Birthday! You guys are the absolute best!

The nice man running the place said he could check the light for me, but didn't have time that day to fix anything. He ran the code and determined that it was a small vacuum leak caused by a failing intake manifold gasket. He recommended that it would be fine for the rest of my drive to central Texas, cleared the warning light and then didn't charge me a thing. I'm super impressed with this hometown generosity and care that is so rare these days. He also did this on a day when he was extremely busy. He had never heard of Yelp before, but hopefully this review will pay him back by sending some business his way. Tom

We were parked 10 miles down on the next exit and I did not want to have to go clear to Ponca City to do this so I Google auto repair and low and behold there was a place in the small village of Tonkawa. We drive up and he was more then friendly, even though it was 2pm. Told us it would be 1 1/2 hours ends up only an hour. We were able to grab a bite to eat and do a little browsing in their quaint town while we waited. For a small town they have a lot of mom and pop shops and I prefer to give my money to them over the conglomerates that are taking over or great nation.
