I have been more than patient, and I'm writing this because I still don't have my truck back…read more I dropped off my 2020 F-150 on June 11, 2026 after my A/C stopped working. I have an extended warranty through CarShield, and AAMCO diagnosed it as a faulty blend door actuator. CarShield approved the repair, I paid my deductible, and I picked the truck up the following week. The same day, the truck started making a loud clicking noise behind the dash whenever the doors were locked/unlocked or the A/C vents were changed. I called AAMCO immediately, and they asked me to bring it by. Because I work 60+ hours a week, my wife stays home with our 1-year-old, we have no family nearby, and this is our only family vehicle, it wasn't easy to get back. I finally brought it in on July 2, where they confirmed the repair would be covered under warranty if the actuator had failed again. I dropped it off on July 6. On July 10, they confirmed the actuator had indeed failed again and said they would replace it at no cost. After that, the communication became extremely poor. After hearing nothing for a week, I called on July 17 and was told they hadn't even started because they were waiting on Ford parts. No one had contacted me. They offered to let me pick the truck up until the parts arrived, but that wasn't practical given my work schedule and family situation. On July 20, I was told the parts had arrived. On July 22, they said another issue had appeared involving the truck's system and they were investigating it. Then the updates stopped again. I called on July 24 and was told they were busy and would get back to it the following week. I was promised it should be finished by the middle of the next week. By July 28, after nearly a month without my truck, I called again. They said they believed a temperature sensor was now causing the actuator problem and hoped to finish before my daughter's first birthday pictures. On July 29, after I called yet again because no one updated me, they admitted it still wasn't fixed but could reassemble it so I could take it home. After waiting this long, I didn't want an unfinished repair, so we canceled my daughter's pictures. Today is July 30, 2026, and I still have no truck, no update, and no phone call. The repair itself may have become more complicated than expected, and I understand that happens. My biggest complaint is the lack of communication. Nearly every update came because I called them, not because they kept me informed. My truck has now been in the shop for almost a month, I've had to cancel important family events, and I still don't know when I'll get it back. I'll update this review after I finally receive my truck.

These guys will rip you off if you're not careful. All the reviews saying the same thing are true,…read moreyou should believe them. They charged me $100 for a check that I later found out was literally just them checking the engine code, which they told me there was no code. You can go to O'reilly's and get that for free btw. But they took advantage of my limited knowledge of cars and scammed me because that's the nature of this place. I got an oil change here two years ago, they spilled oil on my alternator and didn't tell me about it, then my car broke down a few weeks later so I took it somewhere else and they told me whoever changed the oil spilled some on the alternator. I took it back to them and told them they needed to fix it, they tried to play dumb, but eventually they admitted it. Flash forward to today, I tried giving them another chance with an oil change cause prices everywhere else are pretty rough right now. I come in and they tell me they're ordering a filter and it'll be about 10 mins. Two hours go by and I ask for an update. They say they accidentally ordered the wrong filter and that they're ordering the correct one, and it'll take about 10 mins. So here I am, another two hours later and my entire day gone, hoping that they changed it correctly. They probably spilled some oil somewhere else knowing these guys though. If I would've known it was gonna take 4 hours, I wouldn't have waited here, but I came in and they told me it wouldn't take long. I don't know if it's the management, or the work culture, or something else, but this is a terrible Firestone and you should not take your car here.
