I needed a hot water tank but not immediately. Was told it would be "$1070." As I've been screwed…read moreby so many contractors I asked, "Does that include the tank, installation, labor..." I was interrupted pleasantly and told, "It includes everything." I asked about a warranty and was told 7 years. I don't see anything with the manual stating 7 years. Also don't have a card to fill out for the warranty. Plumber came and was efficient. Gave me a bill for $1695! I said, " I was told '$1070'!" He said he can't remember the last time they did it for that price. After he said that I had a "flashback" that this was not the 1st time I was given a price over the phone and a higher price on the bill. When I called to discuss lowering the bill I was screamed at! She said, "I'd never give that price." I said had she quoted me $1685 I would have called around." She kept screaming, "You talked to me! I would NEVER say that price!" That evening after I had somewhat calmed down, I looked at the bill. Noticed that I was given the info. about the tank. I Googled the tank and the cost of the tank... $1069.29! She had mistakenly quoted me the price of the tank only! Who needs to $1070 water tank if it's going to break down in about 7 years. I've been using Pilewski for a few years now. Not the 1st time I was given a price over the phone and another at billing. Apparently worked it out that time as I continued to use them. Not the 1st or the 2nd time I've been yelled at by Kim. It is the last time though. This has been my worst experience with Kim. She did finally give me $25 off of the bill but it's not enough for her mistake on pricing me just the tank (before taxes) and all the yelling she did! Sad to cut ties with a great crew of plumbers.

None of them were willing to provide a definitive quote, stating a range from $2000 - $10,000, saying that because the piping was old, they they might have to replace EVERYTHING. KEEP IN MIND, it was only one bathtub that had water issues - everything else in the same bathroom worked fine. Concord Plumbing (not from Chautauqua) promptly showed up for our appointment, discussed what work was to done, what materials would be used, and provided a written estimate. Estimate accepted, plumbers showed up promptly, did their work professionally, and the results, for an old home, far exceeded expectation. I highly recommend Concord Plumbing and Heating!

He's cleaned the siding, the gutters (inside and outside) painted the foundation and steps, power washed the deck and is painting that. Painted the basement walls and floor.
