I was a bit anxious, having never paid for a cleaning service before and having this super dirty apartment that I thought was a lost cause (I'd lived at this place for 2 years with pets and 2 out of control kids) but when it was all said and done, the place looked totally different. It was seriously like night and day. Oh but wait, there's more. Oh yes. My two biggest fears were A.) my super tight budget, and B.) my super tight deadline. I mean, I called like a day and a half before I had to turn the keys to the apartment in to the leasing office (my fault, I'm a procrastinator). I told AViVA that I had a super busy work schedule and a super tight deadline to have my place cleaned. Not only did someone meet me at the apartment THAT SAME NIGHT to walk through and do an estimate, but the quote I got was better priced than everything I was told, by friends/coworkers, to expect from paid cleaning services. And yes; they somehow managed to get my place to look brand new, meet up at a time of my choosing to do the walk-through, and got everything wrapped up before I had to turn the keys in. AND they even gave me a military discount! I couldn't be happier with how much AViVA helped me out. They quoted us one price but charged us $50.00 less at the time of service. Then they made it seem like our fault that they were not paid correctly. We sent them a check for the difference and it was never deposited. Then we sent another and still, no deposit. We have attempted to communicate via email and have had very little response. Now we have to cancel another check and pay the bank fee. All of this over 50 bucks. We will definitely pay more for a reputable cleaning service the next time. They also messed up my wife's ability to use Thumbtack because it appears as if we have not paid the merchant. We intend to contact Thumbtack as well to file an official complaint. These sort of companies should not be allowed to conduct business with the public!

I took some pictures and explained exactly what I wanted and they gave me a fair price that I was very happy with. They double checked that we were still on the day before and morning of. They showed up on time and with all their own supplies. I work from home but was not bothered at all by their work. When one was done, they went over and help the other finish up. They dusted and cleaned the light fixtures, wiped down both sides of the doors and even the door frames. The ONLY issue I had was the mopping. Didn't care much for the mop they used on the floors but I'm super picky about that in general. Will be booking them again soon.

My guest bathroom sink now has several chips that were not there prior to the service. Paint was removed from my kitchen wall and trash can. A marble coaster was broken on a mirrored table, damaging both, and another mirror was scratched. There were also serious safety and care issues involving my pet. I clearly communicated that my cat was not to be disturbed, yet blankets he was hiding under were immediately pulled back, which visibly traumatized him. Additionally, my front door was left open numerous times, despite the cleaners knowing there was a pet in the home. This was extremely concerning. After leaving a very detailed review through the company's internal survey, I received only a generic text message, with no phone call or meaningful acknowledgment of the damage or safety concerns. More recently, I called and asked to speak with leadership. I was asked to send photos of the damage, which I did promptly. Since sending those photos, I have received no response--no return calls and no follow-up texts. At this point, the lack of accountability and communication has been just as disappointing as the service itself. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.
