Had an AMAZING customer service experience at this Anthropologie. My online order arrived damaged in the mail, so I came into the store in a panic because I needed a dress for a wedding I was leaving for in 2 days. Lily, Hailey, and Ashley were able to take care of my return and find me an even better dress than I had originally ordered in a matter of minutes! They all were incredibly friendly and put my panicked self at ease. I cannot recommend this Anthro store enough! read more

Beware if you are a minority. You WILL be racially profiled!!!l I had an awful experience at this store Friday, October 11, 2024. An assistant manager by the name of Cameron asked if I needed assistance to the dressing room. I declined her request and mentioned I would be heading to the dressing room shortly. Once, I arrived to the dressing room. She rushed and took my items. I noticed her counting all of my items. I asked if this was necessary and she insisted. Mine you I have visited this store NUMEROUS times and not once had this occurred before. I felt completely humiliated by this as I was the only minority customer in the store. I mentioned to Cameron and another associate, whom I strongly believe were having an inappropriate conversation about me, that I was offended. I asked the other associates if this was standard practice and was told this was "policy"! I left the store not purchasing a thing. I called back to speak with a manager and to get the associate's name. The associate who answered the phone hesitated to provide me the associate's name who ultimately treated me like a criminal, "knit picking" through all of my items. I returned to the store as I wanted to document this occurrence in its entirety with names. Cameron refused to make things right and never spoke to me in-person to apologize. However, Haley, another assistant manager, spoke to me about the matter, listened and apologized on Cameron's behalf. I will never return to this location as I would rather purchase online than to be treated with humiliation in-store. Cameron should take some diversity training and should leave her " unconscious bias" at the door!!! read more

Anthropologie is one of my wife's favorite stores. We walked in excited after a business meeting and started to browse. It looked like maybe 7 people were working there. Even though we both wandered the store separately not a single person acknowledged our presence once. The power then shut off, which happens, we finished our browse and since we couldn't buy anything we walked out. There were four people at the door and not a single person in the store ever said a single word to us the entire time nor while we were leaving. This was the worst service we've ever seen in one of these stores. All we wanted was a basic hello. But nothing. read more

My favorite store for my clothes and as gifts for my stylish friends Trendy but not over the top I an 66 and I buy my clothes there. I am an artsy type. I also buy for my 40 yr old daughter and my sons fiancée who is 30. Lots of stuff that appeals to all ages who don't want the conservative look. They have great sales and always new items whenever I stop in Check out the sale room. I find really nice buys there The pants are true to size but I don't trust the shirt,blouse, and sweater sizes. Holy wow! This store is like an art museum for clothes! I love everything about this place. The space itself has so much character and appeal. The fixtures are well thought out and gorgeous. Many of the antique/ retro items (some fixtures even) have price tags and I can only assume are for sale. Great concept!! Something about the vibe here reminded me of an Urban Outfitters Store in Philly. I looked into it later and yup, sure enough, same company. The displays are really intense and vibrant, but still have this organic calming feel to them. Like they belong there. Love the giant hanging flower chandelier made out of paper, yarn and popped balloons. Ooh and the diamond shaped fabric swatch collage. Ooh and the leaf shaped luggage tags hanging from a copper wire jungle. The dinnerware/home goods/décor area is boss and had some really great relevant cookbooks. Honestly didn't know they offer designing services. Store is well appointed and staff welcoming. Similar to other layouts and was able to score some nice deals. Sale section was not easily defined but didn't matter as you'll stumble into it eventually. read more

After hearing the new Southend location opened I had to check it out. I love the space, a lot larger than their other location, allowing the items and clothes to stand out. The hardwood floors and store set up is unique and a great new addition to Atherton Mills. Anthropologie has a unique niche of clothes, candles, frames, kitchen items and so much more. I can definitely spend a lot of time just browsing the items and definitely find some unique and fashion forward clothes. Again, a great new addition to Southend and living in the area is a definite bonus for a quick stop to see if they have anything fun for a night out or just lounging around. read more

I have passed by this shop many times under the impression that it just wasn't my style, but finally visited on Small-business Saturday and am so glad that I did. They carry quite a wide range of items including home accessories, cosmetics, books, stationary, jewelry, clothing... They also have a great variety of prices as well so you can find just about something for everyone here. I ended up purchasing not only for myself, but gifts as well. I didn't care for the clothing, but thats more of a personal style thing. This place is definitely worth checking out! read more

I love Anthro for their clothing, accessories, candles, dishes, bedding, furniture, I mean everything. It's all a little on the pricey side, but the quality is worth it. How can you not fall in love with something in this store?!? I'm writing a review because I recently had an AMAZING customer service experience. The young women in there definitely went above and beyond and I totally appreciated it. They pretty much saved what could have been a bad evening with a wardrobe malfunction. It is Anthropologie! It is like my favorite local place to shop. Some of my favorite articles of clothing are from this store. Even though it is a chain store they carry some clothes you won't find any where else. My last trip I purchased a kimono that was very eclectic. read more

Had to run into Anthropologie on Saturday to return a gift I received. The staff was more than helpful in holding on to my return while I shopped for an item as a possible exchange. I ended up not committing to anything, so the staff quickly and efficiently processed my return. While I was there, a new staff member was being trained on the register. They asked me to patient, which was no problem. I really appreciated the direction provided by the trainer to the trainee. She was really supporting and uplifting and was teaching by example. I just really felt good about how the employees worked with each other. I will definitely be back to purchase something with my store credit. I love Anthro. read more

I have visited this location several times and have always had positive experiences here. Just recently, I placed an order online during Anthropologie's Black Friday Sale so I could pick it up in-store at Atherton Mill. As I was out running errands in South End, I conveniently got a notification that my order was ready. I started heading toward the store and didn't even think twice about the fact that I had my dog in the car with me, since she goes pretty much everywhere I do. When I parked in front of the store, I called to find out what the pet policy was - and if it would be all right for me to carry my small pup in with me as I picked up my order. Katie answered my call. She was super enthusiastic and pleasantly told me that not only could my dog come in the store with me, but that she would have a treat waiting for her. As soon as we walked in, Katie was there to greet us with a sweet potato treat in hand. She quickly got my order for me and thanked me for my purchase. Excellent customer service is pretty hard to come by these days, but Katie absolutely went above and beyond to make my trip to her store a memorable one. When I called, she could have simply said, "Yes, Anthropologie is a dog-friendly store". However, she truly went out of her way to make me (and my pup) feel welcome. Katie exhibited a lot of pride in her job and I hope she will be recognized for her commitment to customer satisfaction. read more

I Love everything about Anthtro....if I could afford to buy all my clothes from there I would, right down to panties and bras:) They have such unique pieces and brands...I brought a coat here a few years ago and continue to draw compliments and small crowds everytime I wear it. When i want to treat myself i come to Anthro. This location on South Blvd is closest to me and i was so excited to see they opened a stand alone store in Charlotte. My only down side to this review is that the floor associates are not very attentive. At least not this new crew because this has not always been the case. The last few times i have gone in they will set me up in a dressing room and I'll never see them again so if i need a new size or a different item i have to get dressed and get it myself. I would like to see that changed or corrected but other than that i love this place. Thank you! read more

It is a beautiful space and every Anthropologie does it right as it gives me a couch set up in the middle of the floor to wait as my wife and our daughter look around to their hearts content. There is always something new, pretty, and interesting to see and it's one of those places where I never feel like I'm wasting my time while waiting for them to be done. read more

To echo the other one star review, my experience was very disappointing. I am an avid anthro shopper, in fact I am a former manager of an Anthropologie store. Every single time I visit this location I am ignored to the point that an employee bumped into me and didn't even acknowledge my presence. I'm not sure why this location is so snobby and pretentious, as I typically don't feel this way at others. I will go out of my way not to shop here. read more

I have had multiple subpar experiences at this particular location. I am an avid Anthropologie shopper and time and time again this store disappoints. Today while shopping not one single employee spoke to me. Then once I was ready to checkout I was not asked for my AnthroMember information, or if I found everything I was looking for. After trying to engage in a friendly conversation with the check out woman about a particular line her answers were short and rude. At the prices, it is a shame when a store has ZERO customer service. The workers at this location act extremely entitled and make the shopping environment an unpleasant one. The Anthropologie store at South Park Mall is definitely the superior location. read more

Love love love this store! I'm greeted entering the store and though there are many shoppers the store is neat and merchandise is plentiful. So many different styles and choices for so many on my Christmas shopping list. The sale prices made purchasing multiple items even more enticing! I was in the store 20 minutes and at least two associates offered assistance. At checkout the service was excellent and efficient. I was thanked by name and shown such sincere appreciation for my patronage but in a most sincere manner. What a great shopping experience! read more

It's hard to write a review for a chain clothing store: you either like the brand or you don't. In my case, I LOVE this brand so 5 stars is a no-brainer. However, in a town where there are now THREE Anthropologie locations, the new South End store steals the show in terms of service and selection. I'm ashamed to admit I didn't realize it had opened until a few weeks ago, but now that I know, my wallet is in danger. It's an easy 5 minute commute from my house to the store, and it's a lot easier to get in/ out of because it's free-standing (as opposed to being nestled within a shopping mall). The friendly faces and chic store layout are nice perks on top of cute, good quality merchandise. If you are a fan of Anthropologie, definitely swing by; it will more than live up to your expectations! read more
