The time in line was moving right along and everybody seemed happy that the line was going pretty smoothly when I got in line. A few weeks before Christmas, I bought a food and water set for a small dog at Marshall's in Wesley Chapel. The pet which we expected to arrive for Christmas holiday did not arrive as expected. I was confident that a return would be easy at Marshall's. Since I did not have the receipt, I was expecting that they would look up the purchase on my credit cards, which they denied to check. The cashier said that she could not make a refund because the Marshall tags were not on the item, even though the manufacturer tag was still on, and the set was obviously unused. After some discussion and another non-English language with another team member, the cashier went and found one similar but smaller smaller. I was issued an in-store card which about $5.00 dollars less than the amount I originally paid. I am now reluctant to continue being a customer at Marshall's and related stores because of that policy. In this day of advanced technology, it is fairly unthinkable that the cashier could not look up my purchase made on my credit card which Walmart does easily without a fuss! read more

What a great Marshalls. Recovering g from recently having g shoulder surgery. I found that I needed for assistance then I anticipated. I was about to leave when I thought , maybe the gal assigned to the fitting room would be able to assist with handling the hangers. She went above and beyond offering to even help me slip garments over my head and shoulder. What store offers such caring and consideration to its clients. Then I noticed how all the employees were polite and willing to help me with reaching items. At checkout the employee was willing yo load my car for me. The One employee that I offered a tip to- refused even after insisting. There is no off price store that I have ever encountered with such dedicated employees. Hates off and s big thank you. . I bought a pet cooling mat and when I opened and it has. A hole, went to return it and the cashier refused and just stepped out my from the register. This happened at the same location that sold this damaged item. Employees need to be trained in customer service as soon as possible read more

I've been addicted to shopping at these stores as of late. I really enjoy browsing their tea and makeup sections. I've found so awesome name brand stuff rather cheap. They aren't the most organized of these stores and perhaps not the cleanest so it's definitely not my preferred store. However I do like coming in to browse and kill time. Masks required and social distancing markers throughout the store. Barriers installed between the registers and they call the register number when they are ready for the next person for checking out. They do wipe down the counter and card machine before the next guest. read more

This is a nice Marshalls, and it is pretty new. I love looking through the clothes, clearances, house decorations, and dog aisle. You can easily shop in this area with Bealls Outlet, and Ross being in the same area. read more

Be careful here, they don't follow the Marshall's posted return policy. I purchased a shampoo and conditioner, got home and found that it was visibly expired. When I came back to return it a few days later with the receipt the manager refused to give me a refund. She asked if I could drive 20 min to the original location that I purchased it from to return it or if I wanted to return to her store I would just receive a gift card....I didn't have time to drive somewhere else so I just took the gift card and left. But this was a very frustrating experience. read more

I've driven past this Marshall's a few times in the recent past, so I decided to pop in on the way home. The asiles were wide and clean, and yes, it's filled with Christmas merchandise already, but what a fabulous collection. I found KT Tape - something I didn't think I'd find there. I found Hawaiian Black & red salt, a cool journal that will make a neat gift for a friend, and a few other things. Over all a productive trip shopping. read more

What's not to love about Marshalls?! I absolutely love shopping there and am so happy they have one in Land O Lakes. They have so much great merchandise as such a great price. This is one of my favorites!! I shop a lot for my granddaughter (who is 8) and the prices on the cute clothes cannot be beat. My only qualm is that they are owned by same company (TJ Max) but they don't offer the senior discount like TJ Maxx does :( So when I want to get my additional 10% off, I just shop at the TJ in Wesley Chapel or North Tampa. I Have not been here in so many years that I forgot what kind of fun stuff is in the store. I generally bring my son who likes to look through all the clothes travel accessories and candies. I have always found great bargains because I go for the more unusual items such as fresh dates 1 pound for $3.99. I also enjoy all of the imported candies they have bought some chocolate from Italy, honey from Germany and fresh fruit preserves from France. I also find they have great deals on their clearance area when I'm looking for bathroom rugs etc. The store was clean well laid out not to shoveled it all and chock full of merchandise. There was no lines at the check out Friday at noon the ladies were chatting we were having a great time. There is no senior discount at Marshall's for anyone who's interested. I found the employees to be friendly helpful and accommodating. So I will be back for more holiday shopping! read more

My mother and I just left the store, while checking out our cashier was extremely pushy when trying to sell us your credit card. We declined multiple times and she kept at it. Please retrain your customers on selling them to customers. If the customer says no then that's that. Also do not argue the effects it has on the customers credit score. Marshalls in Land O Lakes...Their return policy SUCKS! They come up with their own policies day by day. One week it's this, the following week it could be something totally weird. Especially when you return merchandise w/o a receipt. The return policy states w/o a receipt store credit will be granted. I tried to return two items today. I was told the items I was trying to return the store didn't carry merchandise tag #'s that began with 08. WHAT THE HELL! This was the stupidest thing I have ever heard. So what the Manager was saying is she knew every single merchandise tag # first two digits in the entire store. Get the F" out of here! I was asked what Marshalls did I purchased those items from, which I stated. I was informed to return the merchandise to the Marshalls I purchased them from. As long as you are spending money in their store it's fine. But as soon as you try to return the merchandise that is when the hassle starts. They have definitely lost a valuable customer. I don't do reviews, but I felt you shoppers should know. I will NEVER EVER step a foot in that store again. Marshalls on Bruce B Downs and in Trinity are the BEST! They both receive 4 STARS in the book. I have NEVER EVER had any issues or problems with returning merchandise at these stores. Even merchandise that came from Land O Lakes store.
