I love Macy's at Wiregrass. I often purchase cosmetics and perfume on the 1st floor. Great furniture and holiday decorations on the 2nd floor too. I was looking for a men's double breasted suit. Unfortunately, I was going to have to purchase it online. However, the sales lady had me try on sizes so when I ordered it, it fit perfectly! It was on clearance and I was unable to find matching slacks. I was going to return it but when I called the representative said to keep it and they would credit my account. To my surprise I received a full credit in two days! A few weeks later I brought the coat to the store to see if I could find a pair of slacks close in color. My salesman spent 15+ minutes online looking and found the matching pants, however I had to purchase them online. He assisted me with the purchase, discovered that they were on clearance and waived the delivery fee! I received them today and a perfect match. I still need a shirt, tie and shoes and you know I will be back! Kudos to the service, selection and value. You have won me over as a lifetime customer. read more

Not the greatest experience. I've never seen a Macy's get less than five stars. however, it looks like this Macy's deserves it. I one of those people that over bought for Christmas. I took up fragrance back and they try to talk me into the fact that it was not their product and that I was confused that I did not buy it there. They told me I bought it at JCPenney. I went to JCPenney and they said they do not carry that product. Come to find out that this is a practice that the fragrance people there do all the time. I will not be back to Macy's. What a dishonest practice I purchased so many items from Macy's for Christmas and I'm sure hoping that none of my family have the same issue. Haven't been here in years. Walking in, they seem to have changed some of their business practices, some for the better, some for the worse, some are the same. Stores are brightly lit and colored and setup in a way to help draw in shoppers. The store layout is simple and their are signs hanging all over to indicate where specific sections are. Multi level, the store is large and covers most personal clothing and some home good needs, There are always deals running and u can find some really good deals. As an anchor of Wiregrass, definitely a spot to hit up when you want to do some shopping. read more

I have always been a Macy's shopper, and even worked for them in NJ as a single mother. Now due to the location, I am shopping online. Unfortunately my recent purchase needed to be returned, so my hubby and I had to bring my purchase to the Wiregrass location. My return was handled at the main online pickup/return location quickly. I took the opportunity to browse and make a fragrance purchase. The Lancôme fragrances are my favorite, so I was happy to see a large selection. However I missed a 15 percent off sale by one day - that will teach me to look at my emails for the sales. I really wish the physical location was closer than the 50 minutes it took to drive there, but will be happy to continue shopping online. read more

Whatever you do DON'T buy furniture from Macy's or the protection plan $394.83. I bought the Legacy Classic - Chelsea white bed with headboard, side rail and footboard with storage drawers for $979.00. The white footboard with storage drawers had nicks, so I received a replacement but the color was an off white appearing yellow (and assembly was crappy as the corners of the footboard and side rail should be flush not sticking out beyond side panels) and was told by the Furniture Repair guy (under the Protection Plan) that this is the color for the footboard as it will not match the white side rails because they are particle board! Talk about insulting my intelligence. I told him NOT true this is a replacement footboard with drawers and previous footboard with drawers were white just like the headboard, side rails, and night stand! What a rude, arrogant, hot tempered, idiot of a person bothered by having to come look at a furniture complaint! On a separate order a week after bed order, I had ordered the matching nightstand $515.63 and dresser $854.93. The night stand was delivered with the bed, as Macys told me the dresser was NOT received with the nightstand when it came in from NJ. I later checked on delivery status of the dresser to be told I had received it! OMFG! 6 weeks later after investigating Macy's called me to say they discovered dresser never left warehouse in NJ! No shit!! So 2 weeks after that, 2 months from purchase date I called looking for dresser again but ended up just cancelling the whole order and am having them pick up furniture received. They have a serious breakdown in their process! Macy's customer service, the delivery company, and the Furniture Repair company in the Wesley Chapel, Fl area are the worst!! Save your self the time, and headache and buy else where. Who would have thought discount furniture stores are better than Macy's! I'll still shop at Macy's but would NEVER purchase furniture from them ever again! I'll let you know if refund for ALL (including the dresser that I was accused of having received, then they admit it never left NJ but still couldn't give me a delivery date) is successful or if that get's screwed up like everything about these 2 furniture orders! I'd love to get phone number or email address for Macy's CEO to let the individual know about my OVERALL experience with Macy's. Once quality, customer service, honesty, integrity, reliability and accountability are compromised consistently with no process improvement it's just a matter of time before the doors are closed for good! read more

Wow, FIX YOUR AIR CONDITIONER!!! This is the 4th or 5th time I've gone to this store over the last 3 months and their air conditioner wasn't working. It was 94 degrees out yesterday and I was sweating when I was trying on clothes. I asked an employee working in the area what the deal was, and she said the air conditioner keeps breaking. She said the employees were very uncomfortable working, as she wiped sweat off her face with a cloth. read more

I have been a Macy's shopper for as long as I can remember, in various states from New England to Florida. Held their store card since my first real "adult job" in the early 2000s. They always had great selection and service, and pretty stores, giving a very enjoyable and upscale shopping experience. Lately I've not been satisfied, mostly with service at the newer Wiregrass Wesley Chapel, FL location. Tried to make a return of an unworn item I had for only 34 days and they told me I'd only had 32 days to return it (?!?!) Claimed they sent this new policy via email or their app. (The reason I didn't return it sooner was actually because I couldn't find the receipt, and this was because they emailed it instead of printing it.) And who has time to read every Macy's email? Selection has not been as good with limited colors and sizes, prompting me to resort to online purchase of a suit separate needed for an interview recently. I paid $20 for expedited delivery of the item but it still came late! It arrived too late for the interview so I returned it, but they wouldn't refund the shipping charges, even though it came late, by their own 1-2 day deadline. Terrible customer service! I'm afraid that the days of "the customer is always right" are over. Next time I'll order from Amazon, and it will come the next day. I think the days of the brick and mortar stores will be limited if the customer isn't offered SOME reason to continue shopping there! More "mature" shoppers who might not be as tech savvy find it difficult to navigate returns etc, and the service employees I've encountered are not patient with these issues. I don't normally shop @ chain stores (or often visit actual physical stores period), but on the hunt for a specific brand of skinny legged pants, I stopped in here. I also stopped in to return an online pants order. I was taken back by the treatment I received. A festive older woman (wearing an adorably large Christmas tree headband & a big smile) welcomed me into the store, & completed my return quickly. She was very friendly & talkative. What an EXCELLENT first impression of her & the company she represents! The younger staffer on the second floor in the clothing department (black woman on 12/6 whose name starts w/ a "G") COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER! Along w/ being so friendly, she insisted on helping me find what I wanted. In fact, without asking, she assisted me two separate times. She was extremely knowledgeable of the store, its products, & their location on the floor. The older, well-dressed, & classy black woman (on the second foor & whose name begins w/ an "H") was also WONDERFUL. She explained in detail the weekend special-- all clothing 30% off the posted prices (which included marked down merchandise). The store manager smiled & subsequently spoke w/ me as I walked past him-- another very friendly company representative. This large chain store offered excellent sales throughout (on items, of course, that are priced too high to start w/). The inventory was extensive & the brightly lit store appeared spotless w/ each rack well-organized. This particular location now carries a complete line of living room, dining room, & bedroom furniture-- see pic. Returning items to the store is a simple process & staff/management could NOT have been nicer. What a GREAT shopping experience! Definitely the best chain experience to date. There is plenty of parking outside this Wiregrass location. I will definitely consider a return trip even though I prefer smaller stores & online shopping; my first experience here was EXCELLENT. I apologize for being horrible recalling names-- even w/ my wonderful students, recall takes me forever & a day:) I do hope management sees this review. read more

I'm a time of covid, the store was empty. Very sorry about all of that. I had gotten a Christmas present, that, I did not feel was worth the money & was made so flimsy, I was afraid to wear it. I purchase most of my kitchenware pieces from Macy's. My most recent purchase was the Calphalon stackable cookware set. I was torn between the Analon cookware because they offer the measurements inside of the cookware and I loved the bronze color. However the stackable option with the Calphalon set was a huge benefit for easier storage. Their home decor section is one of my favorites in the area. The bed linen and bath towels are definitely my go to for the overall quality and price point. The sales associates are always so very helpful and knowledgeable. read more

Everytime I think of Macy's, I think it is so pricey. But really, you need to search for the sales, and they will seek you out. I have gotten great deals here including an incredibly awesome king size bed set. I also have gotten Black Friday sales at Macy's in the housewares section. The ones that make it out real awesome at Macy's are the Macy's card holders which I'm not. Buy stuff with your Macy's card, pay it right away so you don't accrue ridiculous interest charges, and get lots of coupons. I like the lots of coupons part of that, but I hate the buy lots of stuff, and pay it off right away bit. Are you really saving money then? Kinda sort, of not really? My favorite areas in Macy's are the jewelry and perfume. My least favorite in Macy's are the housewares and bedding section. It's kind of small at this location. Not to mention if you have ever been to Macy's in downtown Chicago its incomparable. Shame on me. But nonetheless, it's located in a great shopping mall, Shops at Wiregrass. Macy's is the best view of the xmas tree, or in the summer, the fireworks. Lucky to have this location in Wesley Chapel! read more

Went to Macys looking for a new set of cooking ware and asked for a price check then when I went to made the purchase it was a different price , then the cashier told me open a Macys credit card to get 20% after she run my credit told me that it was just $100 of not 20% off. I canceled the purchase because it was not what I was told. I was leaving the store very upset but I was lucky to find Ms.Amy and explain the citation to her and she acted with so much empathy to us and she did her best to make it right . She was able to help with the purchase , We went back to the shelf and took notes of the specials and added the special for opening a credit card. Excellent customer service . Friendly customer service during the holiday season. However, won't order online again. Ordered Jeans on-line through Macy's.com (Black Friday special) when they came in the mail the zipper was broken and Macy's left the security tag on. (Also shipping took over a week to arrive) Bummed I went to Macy's early Saturday morning when the store opened to exchange. Unfortunately they don't stock Lucky Brand jeans in store (which I did not know). The woman at the register suggested to return the item for a equal exchange for an in-stock item that would be shipped to my home address. Seemed easy enough. After shopping around later that morning I found another pair of jeans that were on sale and available in store. I went back to Macy's to cancel my order (jeans that would be shipped to my home). This was a bit of a headache to cancel the order I just placed 40mins ago. Went back to original associate, then was sent to customer service. Customer service could not help said the void of sale needed to be on the same register. Frustrated at this point. Just wanted a easy void/ cancel of transaction. Shirley from customer service went over and beyond. She walked me to the original register/associate and was able to get me help. Frustrating experience ordering online with Macy's. Won't order online again. However I will shop in-store. Everyone I encountered was very helpful/friendly. The woman at the counter who did the exchange and her associate before her who helped me look on the store floor. Especially Shirley in customer service. I want to start this review by saying if Audra hadn't helped me yesterday, I would have returned $600.00 worth of merchandise and stopped shopping at Macy's. I purchased a bunch of clothes on June 30, 2024. On July 1st, most of the clothes went on sale, at a 40% discount. I called customer service who said she could do a cost adjustment. I spent 40 minutes going through each item and was told my credit would be $217.00. I was told the credit would take 7-10 days. I called yesterday, and customer service said there was no credit. This call took 1 hour and 15 minutes of going round and round. I asked for a supervisor and was put on hold for15 minutes then told one was not available. I took all the clothes back to Macy's and Audra was amazing. She worked with me to get my credit. Audra is the type of employee that every company wishes for. She's kind, friendly, empathetic and good at her job. My rating is 5 Stars for Audra, and 0 Stars for customer service. read more

I entered Macy's everything normal but when to the perfume area I saw 3-4 employees so I figured someone will come around to help like always and that didn't happen today. everyone turned away and acted busy while I waited. Someone was wiping the glass another lady started grabbing recipes and the other day disappeared so I waited 5mins, I figured hey maybe they did get busy. So after 5mins I said excuse me and everyone kept busy no one looked up and I felt like I was completely ignored. Or maybe I didn't look rich enough for someone's time!! I've found the quality of Macy's has gone down through the years in not just the brands they carry, but also in Customer Service. Shopped here a few weeks ago and in the women's department upstairs, it took awhile to find someone. In kids, sizes were all out of order on racks. Most disappointingly, they made the switch awhile back to a "self-service" shoe department with all of the boxes on display and you grab your own. Call me old fashioned, but I always liked the shoe salesman helping you in the department store aspect. I may as well go to Rack Room if I want to schlep through boxes myself. Also, the Nike section is different from the Macy's shoes. Only the Nike sales person can help with Nike shoes, but can't help with anything else should you need it. Finally, I had a quick return of one of the items I bought later that week. They wouldn't help me with my return at the closest desk, I had to go back upstairs to the department I bought it from, and return there. Thanks for wasting my time! The store allows you to buy items from multiple departments at once, but apparently returns you have to go all over the place!?! Makes no sense. read more

The Macy locates at the center of the Shop Wiregrass mall. They strategically located at the main attraction of this mall. Any big event of this mall is happening around this area. Macy is pleasant to shop due to wide space walkway and any good selection. They often provide discount when it comes close to any holiday. When you sign up the mailing list, they mail the coupons to your home. Although they are in the high side on many items, when it is discount, the price cut is deep. I often get discounts on top of another discount. Some of the work long sleeve dress I have purchased is only $12 of the 50% discount with another 30% off. The home good is at the second floor which is I often visit. The bathroom is clean in Macy if I come to this mall. read more

Shoes make me happy. Linda in the Macy's shoe department makes for a good duo. The shoe dept here is beautiful & they carry a ton of Coach, which I favor. Snobbish, I realize, but truthful. Macy's sits in about the center of the outdoor Shops of Wiregrass Mall, and makes for a convenient place to meet if your group scatters to the winds in search of a sale. My girlfriend and I had taken a drive up to Pasco County (better known as 'Cow Country') one sunny Saturday afternoon, and decided to wander around the mall in Wesley Chapel since the weather had cooperated. I knew we were in trouble as soon as we saw all of the signs saying "SALE!!!!!", but I managed to keep one hand on my wallet, and the other hand on her back as we strolled through the various departments within this large Macy's store. Brittany made her way to the sale racks in the ladies area, and was deeply involved in trying on everything in the store. I found the men's sportswear area, picked up a couple of Greg Norman golf shirts, and was back before she even realized I was gone. Success!!!! Despite the teasing, she did find some adorable outfits, so we considered this a successful trip. On our way back out to the car we bumped into my Yelp friend Erin P., and spent a few minutes saying Hi before scampering off in search of lunch. I chose this location to pick up a purchase that I made online . A purchase that could have easily been made elsewhere as well as sent directly to me to be received in the comforts of my home . The decision , to which turned out to be a poor one on my part , was made because I enjoy visiting / shopping different locations for various reasons and it was quite some time from the last visit . The visit to which was made shortly after opening , was an incredibly disappointing one , due to the fact that i Not only did Not receive the professional service i should have received but as well as the respect I always give and most certainly expect to be returned / reciprocated . I truly believe the poor service and lack of respect given was due to what I chose to wear to which was comfortable clothing . ( Sweat pants with the pant legs rolled up . White tee with a tank top underneath and a fitted hat with a team logo ). While I enjoy giving others the benefit of the doubt and handling things in house , I felt that I needed to go out side the store management to share my disappointing experience . In doing so , I was able to speak and explain in full detail what had transpired to the vp of the area . In closing , what I was trying to avoid w/ the in store managment , I got from the vp . What!!! Great Customer Service does still exist!! At least it does in the Housewares Department of Macy's. Not only did we get knowledgeable service, but we got it with a smile. The lady (I believe she's the manager for that department) was so pleasant and so helpful and the entire time she was training another associate. I drive out of my way to come to this Macy's and Good Customer Service is the main reason why. I visited the shoe department... The sales clerk was nice and helpful in trying to locate navy blue heels for me. The shoe selection was decent, not the very best -- and this is based upon my experience in DC and other NE states. I didn't visit any other section of the department store. I guess my review is a little bias because of my experience in DC and other northern states. read more
