Due to reading a review from someone and someone I know was pleasant as well. The manager in the scene should had been fired or put on suspended leave RIGHT AWAY for yelling at the young lady that sick yet still trying to work. Lord knows that no one wants to work right now. I stopped in to see if I could find Valentine's Day coffee mugs. What I found instead was a Dooney &Burke bag in a really pretty shade of coral. They also had some really pretty light weight sweaters on one of the display tables in the front . I have to say though depending on what you're looking for it's hit or miss . If you don't buy it the day you see it chances are you won't find it when you go back . They have a good selection of clothing , home goods, shoes basically anything you may need or in my case want. Personally, I like to peruse the pet, health and beauty, electronics sections. Items here also make great gift items, too. Had absolutely the best experience here today (March 22, 2022) every staff member was super happy to help, and the young woman who was checking me out was a breath of fresh air. I let her run me for the Marshall's reward program I didn't get approved on the spot, she was a total delight and great at golding conversation. Marshalls is known for having department store clothes at discount prices. I prefer shopping at Marshalls and having to sort through racks of clothes and paying less than going to a well presented mall store and paying more. The store can be a little messy, but the quality of the clothing here is good. There are oftentimes name brands that you would recognize (Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Guess, Nine West, etc). On my last trip I found several nice tops for $12.99 and $16.99 each. This Marshalls is smaller than the new one in Brannon Crossing, but I feel like I always have more luck finding what I want at this location. This is a great place to buy gifts too. They always have great beauty items, fancy soap, stationary, journals, picture frames, and home décor. read more

I'm a frequenter at this Marshall's location, because I love the deals! It is a little chaotic, like most of the stores like this are, but the staff have been wonderful during covid and working to make the store as safe as possible. Always providing sanitized carts and hand sanitizer at the front of the store and promoting social distancing. The store is always still very crowded and hectic, so try to go during the less busy hours to have a more spaced out shopping experience! read more

I came here yesterday hoping to find a specific kind of boot, black jeans, and maybe one or two plain t-shirts. I also wanted to browse and see what they have to offer. It has been years since I've been to a Marshall's; I'm not sure if I've been to this location before. I have memories of unexpected finds at great prices. That was not the case yesterday. I honestly wasn't impressed with the store at all, in regards to clothing. Everything was either more than I would have paid for it, or just not good quality at all (and would be low-quality $5 shirts compared to an $8 full-price). Blah. Meh. There was a decent selection of shoes and accessories, I'll give them that, but nothing I wanted/needed..... and some things were still more expensive than I expected. The only part of the store that appealed to me was the home goods/decor section. Random items, but things that are worth looking for here vs. a department/large retailer. Yet, be careful. I saw some essential oil diffusers for $20-40; same price as they would be in a 'regular' store. I'm not sure where the discounts are here. I did have my eye on a small, faux sheepskin rug for about $20, which isn't too bad. Definitely keeping that in mind when my [tight] budget allows for home decor items like that. Otherwise, meh. I'm pretty sure that I've heard that Marshalls and TJ Maxx are owned by the same corporation. They are very similar, but I seem to like TJ Maxx a bit more. This Marshalls location is in Hamburg Pavillion. We used to have another location, but the old Nicholasville Rd location closed months ago. I liked it a lot more than this location. Everything seems picked through and disorganized. They do have a good selection of shoes. Many name brands at deep discounts. They didn't have any disposable socks, so people were trying on the shoes in their bare feet. I was a bit grossed out. Plus, one of the pair of shoes that I was interested in looked like they had been worn around the store. They also sell name brand shampoos and conditioners that I've scored before. One time I bought two of the same bottles of Rusk shampoo, but when the cashier rang them up, they were two different prices. So, she called a manager to change the price on the more expensive one. She had to create a tag for it. A bit annoying. This last time, I walked out empty handed though. read more

This place is literally a zoo! If you have time to kill and want to look through a million items then maybe you will fond a deal or two? I met some friends here during this trip to plan where to go next otherwise I would have not been here. I usually shop at this place when looking for house decor or undies. they do have clothes and shoes and a lot of other things but just being honest. today I needed luggage. I am attempting to just use a carry on while flying. fyi...that shit is crazy. This store is a thief's paradise! Watch your purse! They have no security in house. I used to like shopping there but no one will help you and if you ask for assistance they shrug their shoulders and blow you off. Very unpleasant! Not worth any savings you would get. read more

Service was okay, but the selection of items aren't the best, ESPECIALLY for the men's department. Hardly and panty, dress, or active tops for women available, compared to most marshalls/ TX Max's. I love this store and have been shopping here since it opened years ago. The selection is ever-changing, but you can always find designer items for a fraction of mall prices. You can almost always find Coach, Michael Kors, Dooney Bourke, Kate Spade and other handbags at great prices. Today at Marshall's a manager caused a scene in front of all customers and employees by yelling at a sick employee on the floor for not doing her job fast enough. It was obvious that this employee had been working as hard as she could but you could tell she was ill. I was very disappointed that the manger yelled at her like this I think that it was unprofessional and if the manager needed to say something it should have been done in a more private manner. I think that the employees shouldn't be treated like that and I think that the customers shouldn't see that kind of scene in the middle of our shopping experience. read more
