Nathalie needs to improve her communication. However, the contractor they used did a great job with the installation. My experience is detailed below: I initially wanted my floors installed the week of June 16th, which was communicated during contract negotiations and agreed upon. After the deposit was paid, I was informed that they had to move us up to the week of June 2nd due to another installation. If we didn't accept that date, we would have had to wait until July. On the day the materials were delivered, we were not informed that they needed to be placed inside the house rather than in the garage, which caused issues due to other circumstances. On installation day, communication between the supplier, Floors Unlimited, and myself was terrible, resulting in an unnecessary argument. Lastly, regarding the final payment, Rebecca stated she would send the aftercare paperwork and invoice by mail. It has been two weeks, and I still have not received them. Receiving mail from a company less than 20 miles away should not take two weeks.

We recently moved to Emerald Isle and thought it might be nice to get a cart to travel the island. We met the owner Paul who was just finishing up another sale. We told him we were just looking for some information about pricing, resale, making it street legal, etc. Paul was really nice and helpful. He answered all our questions. Told us that he would deliver it for free, pick it up and bring it back for any service and offered us a warranty. After talking with him and test driving a few around, we decided to buy one then and there. He offered to buy it back if we want to sell it when we move or sell it for us on consignment. I always like to be cautious and deliberate before I make a sizable purchase but he really made it easy and made us comfortable with the sale. He needed to add a few items to make it street legal (seat belts, turn signals) so he said it would be ready Tuesday (3 days). When we went to drop off the check the next day (Sunday), however, he said he would have it done and delivered that afternoon. He said he knew how excited our 10-year daughter was to get it and wanted to get it to us early. Really nice. It was at our house later that day. Paul is a great guy and we highly recommend this place. Can't say enough for great service. Hard to find these days.

Pete then did the final calibration (auto-pilot and radar). First, I am extremely pleased with the new system - the Raymarine Axiom displays are awesome. I've had a look at the wiring installation, it is absolutely professional. I brought the boat to Oriental for the installation - good move as their offices were just around the corner and it made getting the odd connection easy for them (saving time, too). Due to a few complications, I had to leave Oriental before the calibration was done, but Pete was good about coming to Bath, NC and helping me with the cal. That took longer than expected since Pete had to figure out a place to mount the autopilot compass so it wasn't affected by boat iron. He got it done and the system is working perfectly.

We decided to take a trip to the Coast to see John and Lisa and looked at Quality tubs in a MUCH more affordable price range. I was most impressed with the fact that John works on all the tubs, so they stick to brands that he has not had to repair as much and more reliable, as a guy in Heating and Air Business this meant a LOT to me. They have a SPOTLESS clean Show room with lots of options, sizes....they even have some really cool Plug and Play ones that run on 110 wall plugs. Also, I joined several hot tub groups online and searched for the Nordic brand(only 1 of what they carry) and all the owners LOVED their Nordics and could not find any issues with them. I can't say enough about this small business and look forward to the delivery of our new tub! It was a long process to figure out what we wanted and MOST importantly decided who we wanted to do business with!!

I have a Falcon 195 with a DF200SS and while there are dealers closer to me, they don't give me the service Precision Marine does. They always answer my questions, even the annoying technical ones. Robyn is always a delight to speak with, and Brian and Randy, the mechanics, are always straight up with me. I had a fuel issue last summer and Brian graciously spent time helping me try and narrow down the issue over the phone. Turned out he was right! (it was bad gas). Recently I wanted to swap out my lower unit and Randy was very understanding of my concerns. I've worked a little on boats myself so I do know a tiny bit, and Randy immediately recognized what I wanted (vacuum test for the lower unit seals, and a test on the dial indicator to make sure the shafts were in spec). Owning a boat is just a exercise in waiting for something to go wrong, and having a trustworthy dealer makes all the difference. To Robyn, Randy, and Brian, keep up the great work!
