They ran the receipt and put my 87.00 back to that card after I had told them We no longer have it. I asked the manager would not void their mistake and did not give my gift card. I asked them to call corporate for help they would not and said I could not take my merchandise back with me!!! I was so upset when leaving that store. I did have a verbal altercation with the rudest manager I have ever met. They kept my things, I called corporate and they are looking into this for a resolution! A horrible experience

The folks in the Archery and gun departments are quite knowledgeable. I wouldn't start out by buying a bow here or anything but it's good for odds and ends. My husband tends to love the camping section at Dick's, even though we never go camping. There are also fishing, sports, golf, and other sections that I rarely visit and therefore can't rate based on those. It may not be the biggest Dick's around, but it's ours and we love it.

I stopped by for an inexpensive cooler to carry some seafood home. They had the perfect cooler for only $5. The clerk was helpful and friendly. I looked at the surf supplies and another clerk immediately asked if I needed assistance. The fishing gear is unbelievable. And kayaks, they carry everything. I could have spent all day in there. They rent surf boards, paddle boards, bikes and sell fishing licenses and can even set up fishing charters. They are locally owned. They offer free parking. I'll be back on my next visit to Surf City.

I am a novice and was asking some questions about what would work and what is running and what type of equipment would I need to begin a new hobby, on the bays, shore fishing and maybe someday kayak fishing. I honestly didn't know what I was in for before visiting the store. All I know is I received a number of recommendations to come here for my running needs. I'm a 18-month postpartum momma wanting to get back into running, so I know I needed something more than the average shoe. Kathryn was super knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. They didn't have my exact shoe size for the shoe I wanted in stock so she ordered it online and it will be here on Monday. While this is online with their procedure, I can't express how grateful I was for such an awesome customer service experience. Typically, shoe places will try to upsell you and get what they can out of you, but I never felt that way at Fleet.
