That has been rescheduled twice for the physician being sick. This morning they called again because they double booked today's appointment. The scheduler who called was not even aware this was the 3rd time. Similar scheduling issues happened to myself last summer I've been rescheduled on two separate occasions. It is frustrating to tell the person on the phone that three rescheduled appointments over 4 months has now messed up both our insurance given the annual enrollment and impacts our job schedule and be told the "I'm sorry but the first open appointment is in December ".

Awful! I switched from aspirus to marshfield thinking they were a better option. I was wrong! I…read morewent for my annual exam and then received a bill for the cost of the preventative wellness exam. My wellness exam is covered under my insurance. Marshfield coded this incorrectly and not as a screening but instead as a diagnostic test. I am now stuck in there billing/dispute process that is never ending. I opened a review/dispute with Marshfield in July, never heard anything back. I called again in September and nothing was ever reviewed or completed. I was told by the woman I spoke with in July that I would receive a letter as to what the dispute result was. I spoke with the billing supervisor, they elevated the level for the dispute. I was told to call back in 3 weeks to find out if anything has been done. I have called back multiple times and even requested that I receive a call back from the supervisor. Each time I call, I have received different information. One woman said the review was complete and code was changed. I called my insurance company, it was not. Another woman said I needed to send my EOB, not true, then next woman said the review board has 30 days to review since the elevated response was given. I also was told that a supervisor has 5 business days to call back after a call back request was made. I have not received that. I am still in the limbo of the billing department. My friend recently mentioned she had a similar experience and it took 10 months to get it resolved! My experience with Marshfield clinic has been awful.

This center is across the street from Aspirus Hospital. (There are two hospitals in the Wausau metro area; the other is St. Clare's in Weston.) There are approx. 130 providers (physicians, NPs, PAs, etc.) in the Wausau Center. They are in a wide variety of specialties including the primary care specialties of Family Practice, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics. There is an urgent care department called Walk-In. I was exposed to the current virus running through and called, begged to be seen just to get antibiotics. My calls were dropped. I walked in for urgent care....no urgent care. I will find a new clinic. I'm done with them. If they cannot even see a person with a virus, HOW CAN YOU TRUST THEM WITH BIGGER ISSUES? And it isn't insurance. I pay CASH.

I told them to call in the prescription to Walgreens on church st. Went to Walgreens an hour later, no prescription called in yet. Went shopping at save a lot to kill some time, went back, still no prescription called in yet. I ended up calling Marshfield urgent care 6 times before they actually called it in over the phone. It shouldn't take that long to call in a prescription. I don't know what their problem is but they need to take care of it. I will never go there again.

He told me that he can NOT prescribe certain medications and that I had to find a Psychiatrist to fill those prescriptions. I called and am now on 2 waiting lists for Psychiatrists yet this doctor will not refill the prescriptions that I have been on for 25 years. He made me want to go kill myself after that visit. You should NEVER say something like that to a mentally ill patient! That was a terrible shock and made a lot of my mental illnesses hit me as I was walking to the car.
