I had an appointment for a 6 month cleaning; arrived to be told that I was compelled to have some…read moreother cleaning treatment, more expensive of course, because of bone degredation issues. I had never heard of this and I had certainly exeperienced ZERO symptons. They refused to perfom a normal cleaning. I drove directly to another dentist (who naturally for any new patient does every conceivable XRay and photograph of the patient's mouth.) I told them nothing of the experience 20 minutes earlier, to avoid them potentially getting on the band wagon and continuing the ruse! The Hygenist completed the cleaning and complimented me on the state of my gums and I then mentioned the earlier experience and she just shook her head and said it was clearly a money making issue. My wife also had work done a few months back and had a few crowns fitted. At that time she complained about tooth ache on a crowned tooth which the dentist stated would disappear after a while. Needless to say, she had to return and they had to perfom a root canal under the crowned tooth; double the time and definitley more expensive. There's no doubt this needed to be done before the crown was fitted. After these expereinces, I wouldn't recommend anyone to the practice.

The building is easy to find, centrally located for us, Front Desk staff is very friendly and professional and BUSY, but always welcoming. The Docs and hygienist always refer to you by name which makes it a great environment, I also had a tooth broken off, I called as a new patient and they took me right in and scheduled me the next day, having never seen me before. In My eyes that is amazing customer service and I was and continue to be impressed. During my first visit, I was told I had 3 cavities and was strongly encouraged to schedule fillings for the very next day. This immediately raised concerns as I've only had one cavity in 30 years and have always kept up with regular cleanings. I decided to get a second opinion from another dentist who confirmed there were absolutely no cavities or even areas of concern. While the office itself is clean and modern, and the front desk staff and hygienists were friendly, I would urge anyone visiting this practice to be cautious and consider getting a second opinion before agreeing to any treatment.

Wait time- by the time I blinked they were calling me to the back and that was perfect because with the toddlers they can get a little too busy us moving to the back as quick as we did helped a lot. My Tooth Fairy Dr. Amanda Curtlin, DDS What a refreshing experience to know that the standard of service does not stop at the Front staff but in the individual rooms with back staff (Dental assistant/X-ray tech/ pre-op- very personable young lady!) Dr Curtlin made my nerve wrecking experience easy and effortlessly created a great environment for me to relax and provided a clear understanding of what was happening, why it was happening, and what we need to do to stay safe during & after care. Never in my life has a dentist made me feel comfortable enough to hum through a tooth extraction. I mean she carried the tunes with me, checked in on me after every line of the song, and still carried out a full tooth extraction without missing a beat! I think I even heard her sing to the dental assistant to drain the site AND I LOVED IT! She communicated with me the entire time, telling me to make sure I tell her if I feel any pain vs pressure, paused if she didn't understand what I was saying even if it was something as simple as you both are doing great because at that point they weren't just my cheer squad, I was theirs! I am an unofficial Pearl Dentistry ambassador little does she know and that is because of Dr. Curtlin and the entire staff!
