We decided to choose Pro Construction because we knew it would be a lengthy process and we felt comfortable with Paul being in our home. He was always professional and we were confident in his skills based on conversations we had with him. We made the right choice and Paul's work surpassed our expectations on many levels. His work is meticulous and detailed, he is always on time, communicated very well with us, and his crew cleaned up after themselves every day. He gave us feedback on how to improve what we were trying to accomplish based oof his expertise in the field and he suggested some extras for a fabulous final result. In the end, we gained a beautiful master bedroom and bathroom addition as well as the confidence in Pro Construction to recommend them to others. I am posting some pictures of our new room that has given my family and I some much needed elbow room. Adding on to our existing home with Pro Construction was a much better choice for us than to sell and buy a larger home. The outcome is far beyond what we dreamed we could accomplish and we are so thankful we chose Paul and Pro Construction for our project. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Augustin has competitive rates and will go through his quote to explain all items and clarify any questions regarding the scope and type of work that needs to be done and does not begin work until all questions have been answered. His crew were always on time and conducted themselves very professionally on the job site. If one of them were not able to answer a question, Augustin can be reached very quickly over the phone/text to get the matter cleared up. All of our projects have been completed on-time or if there was a delay, he would explain the reason for the extension so there were no questions. Also, all financial questions are answered as soon they come up and if there is a need to increase the budget (or use an item/material that is more expensive then originally planned) Augustine will go into detail for the reason there needs to be a change and is open to negotiate the difference in cost. I would not hesitate to use Soto Construction for any work that we have planned for the future.

I was told that Jaime (the contractor) was all booked up until September, and I said that fine as there isn't a rush on the job. She began asking me if I wanted to schedule an appointment for a quote, but then she back peddled and said, "Can you call back in September?" I was really taken aback by this, and told her this seemed to be a repeat of a review that I read on a social media site. If you're in the market for a contractor in the Sacramento area from July 2014 - September 2014, DON'T call this contractor as he is all booked up and wont give you the time of day! Response to comment from business owner; Thank you for your response to my review of your business. Please allow me to reiterate some of my review and more clearly state my thoughts about my interactions with Purdy Construction. Getting back to a customer in a timely manner: Business standard is to return a phone call within 24 hours, especially when you have a dedicated person (Susan) taking business calls. I waited 72 hours before phoning again. Since there is another review about not responding to a customer inquiry, it sounds like this has been a previous issue. Time frame for project start: As I stated in my review, it is not a rush job and I was fine with the project starting in September. I am completely happy with your availability. Asking ME to phone back in September for a quote: This is what I have an issue with. As a customer, the business should take the responsibility in getting back to a client, or potential client, not the client. My information should've been taken down and a quote taken within a couple of weeks (my hours are flexible and would've been happy to work around your full schedule), and not start the project until September. Never the less, I have already lined up a quote from another contractor. If I accept the bid, the project will not start until late August/ early September, which is perfectly fine with me. I was not able to stay for the entire install as I had to leave for work. When I got home not only was everything in place and working perfect but all cleaned up - it was like he was never there! With the exception of the beautiful new items, of course. My grandma said everything had gone really well while I was gone. We have had bad experiences with contractors in the past leaving garbage, debris, unfinished work, or just doing an overall sketchy job. Jamie is friendly, honest and efficient. I first had him come by to look into some siding that needed to be repaired on the house, but we found out that water had damaged the whole wall of the house. He gave me some suggestions without feeling pressured with I liked, and I went ahead and felt very confident that i was going to be taken good care of at a fair price. He added some details which I really liked and that speaks volumes of his work, character and professionalism to ensure his costumers are well taken care of.
