His warm and friendly staff are very accommodating, and I am very Impressed with Dr Arkin's state of the art equipment, and the thoroughness of his examination. Dr. Arkin has been my eye doctor for many years. He is my favorite doctor. He has a great sense of humor and has always provided excellent care. When I have had to come in for an emergency, I have been seen immediately.The quality of service and products is exemplary. The staff is great and it is worth the 70 mile trip down there. I have tried other eye doctors closer to home, but have found there eye glass prescriptions don't work because they use inferior materials. Dr. Arkin uses quality lenses and there is never a problem with fit or function. I have been going to Dr. Arkin for many many years. He has always given me the BEST attention! I tend to be a little 'needy' and he has the patience and kindness to always care about my multiple questions and concerns. He always has me leave feeling completely confident and happy. (Some Drs. are not very considerate to patients who take up too much time.) Seeing Dr. Arkin you never feel rushed or on a timetable. The staff is very pleasant and welcoming also. I've been going to Dr. Arkin for years but today was a 'near' life-changing appointment. I decided that after years of having six pairs of reading glasses all around the house I wanted to try contact lenses. I need glasses for distance as well as reading but didn't think it was possible to do both. He took the time to step me thru my options and I'm now writing this review without glasses!!! Dr. Arkin was thorough with his exam and explaining results to me. My previous doctor prescribed uncomfortable contact lenses for me, which left me with constant irritation and redness in my eyes. Dr. Arkin suggested other lenses and gave me samples to try. I haven't had to use drops at all since I tried the new contact lenses, and my eyes haven't been red all day!
