Dr. CRANER said it was an abrasion he put in a lens bandage to help protect it. Brought instant relief. The next day I had more pain when I woke up although I had an afternoon appointment Chris squeezed me in earlier in the morning so that it could be looked at and I didn't have to suffer waiting till 315 appointment. it was a bumpy road for a couple of days but it feels much better now. Not only do I feel upset by the $55 increase, but the managers explanation was that the doctor is not a Warby Parker employee and can charge whatever she wants. When I explained that I accepted my appointment based on the website, she said that the website not correct. When I called the Warby Parker helpline, she was somewhat surprised by the price change, but said it's really at the discretion of the store not the website. When I ask, why are you bothered to have a website showing what it cost, she agreed that that's a really good question and then told me that it's really a bad set up. Wow. I think I've purchased almost a dozen glasses from Warby Parker over the last five or six years. I will no longer patronize such a terrible company where the employees even admit that the website is misleading if not just bad. Needless to say I left the store. I have made a vow never to patronize Warby Parker again.
