    I contacted Tim Martell in December of 2024 to have him re-wire my electric panel; which he did…read more Then, I had to have him come back to hook up my well pump because it was not re-hooked up. Recently (about a month ago), I had to have my septic pumped. When I did, they informed me that the electric pump was not hooked up to the electrical box, therefore not working! They advised me to have an electrician come out to look at it and hook it up. So, I immediately called Tim to come out to re-connect it, as it was previously working. When he finally came out, there was a huge ant pile around the pump station. Tim advised me to get rid of the ants and call him back - which I did immediately. Since then, we have been going back-and-forth with his and my schedule. I am a widow, raising my grandson. I take him to, and pick him up, from school during the week; so my availability was limited during the school week. I let Tim know that, since my grandson was out of school last week, I was totally available if he could come out. He never did. This morning he left the following message: "I will go ahead and come back to you just to finally get this out of the way but I had already left the area your hours have made it very difficult for me to be in the area when you are available." Well, I took offense to his text. I have been more than patient and kind regarding his return and felt that he was being disrespectful. I was going to pay him a $150 service charge to come out and fix what hadn't been done in the first place! I would definitely NOT recommend Tim to anyone!

    My house was built in 1973, so it's almost as old as I am! We've lived here for 23 years and…read morehaven't done any upgrades to the electrical system. So we shouldn't have been completely shocked when our electric went out on a Sunday morning in April 2021 & the main breaker to the house smelled like an electrical fire. Still, we were surprised, of course. Sorry, Yelp, my first thought was to check our neighborhood's Facebook group for recommendations. After two calls & no live person, I turned to Yelp, looking for electricians "open now". Sunrise had recently updated their Yelp listing with details and had a few good reviews, so I called them. Shelley answered the phone & was very helpful in assuring us that someone could come out that day. She took our information, and we did have to provide payment of $119 for the emergency service call. Communication was great afterward, which included both a text and phone call a couple hours later when our service tech was en route. Kevin actually arrived a bit earlier than the estimated arrival time and seemed incredibly knowledgeable. After looking at our main breaker box, he confirmed that it needed to be replaced, and that he would be able to replace it that day. He also advised that we would need a surge protector for the whole house, along with inspections & permits which he would be able to do as well for the quoted price. Many hours later, we had power again, with a new main breaker box. And I'm glad to have a house-wide surge protector. This was not a cheap repair/upgrade, and we were obviously unable to get other quotes or compare prices on a Sunday, but we're happy with the work done.

I blew a fuse and the kid they sent out was not able to resolve my problem and offered to connect two wires to get everything working except my garbage disposal. I called their office several weeks ago and spoke with Mark, Customer Service Manager. I told him that I felt overcharged as I now need to call another electrician to finish the job. He said he was sure the owner, Gary, would make things right. Mark was going to call me back after speaking with the owner. He never called back and they are both dodging my calls now.
