Call to make appt for a vision test for up coming surgery. Has able to get in very Reasonable time…read moreframe. Got there today 8/23 for appt. The girl took me back question why I was coming in told her mainly I needed the vision field test done she said ok. They took me back to see Dr Hansen ask what brings me in today told him the samething a least a couple of times they said that they did not have me down for that what it was the main thing I needed. Dr they ask if I would come back tomorrow or late this week. They he finish the exam took me out to look at glasses which I did not want to get until after surgery and he agree it would be a good idea. So we when back to talk to the office manager (Chris) which I heard her very loudly tell him they cant do it bc they was short staff ( again not my problem) she told him she has 2 doctors in the rest of the week and over 200 pairs of glass on her desk to order right now(not my problem) She was so Disrespectful to Dr Hansen talking to him like that. She proceeded to come out and talk to me in the same tone of voice and said that they did not have time . I did call her rude and walk out. This person needed to be write up or fired. I believe I was the customer and not my problem she was short staff. They had many time to let me know and reschedule. 1 when I first walk in to the appt or called me to reschedule. 2. When the girl took me back. 3 when I saw Dr.Hansen. Rudeness was very wrong.

I had an appointment because of an eye injury and tried to pre-register on their website and got…read morelocked out. I had to go to Greenville (days before the appointment) for something else, so I stopped in and gave them my insurance cards, ID, etc, and found out they had my birthday wrong and that was the problem. The person at the counter told me she corrected the issue and it would now work, but I tried to pre-register again but was still locked out. In the next couple of days I got several more emails inviting me to pre-register online. When my appointment came, I had to fill out the paperwork the good old fashioned way but sign six different things on a grubby hand held tablet of some sort. When I explained to the lady about still being locked out online I got a chuckle in response. At the exam, the doctor talked so low and so fast I had trouble understanding her. I also got the impression that I wasn't taken seriously, like I was a quickie in between real patients or something. I left with questions unanswered and a feeling of being insulted when I explained what my primary care doctor said about why I had been referred to an eye doc (my regular eye doctor wasn't available to me). I still have my eye problem but at least she got a car payment out of it. Then to pour some salt in the wound I got an email yesterday telling me happy birthday and how glad they were that I was their patient. Well, I'm not, and won't be again. I have zero confidence in them or their system, and their attitude sucks. I'm no snowflake, they really were that bad. It was GRO that took care of cataracts in both of my eyes and all went swimmingly, but that was twenty years ago. They've gone downhill big time in my opinion, and there are better choices.
