I had an appointment because of an eye injury and tried to pre-register on their website and got locked out. I had to go to Greenville (days before the appointment) for something else, so I stopped in and gave them my insurance cards, ID, etc, and found out they had my birthday wrong and that was the problem. The person at the counter told me she corrected the issue and it would now work, but I tried to pre-register again but was still locked out. In the next couple of days I got several more emails inviting me to pre-register online. When my appointment came, I had to fill out the paperwork the good old fashioned way but sign six different things on a grubby hand held tablet of some sort. When I explained to the lady about still being locked out online I got a chuckle in response. At the exam, the doctor talked so low and so fast I had trouble understanding her. I also got the impression that I wasn't taken seriously, like I was a quickie in between real patients or something. I left with questions unanswered and a feeling of being insulted when I explained what my primary care doctor said about why I had been referred to an eye doc (my regular eye doctor wasn't available to me). I still have my eye problem but at least she got a car payment out of it. Then to pour some salt in the wound I got an email yesterday telling me happy birthday and how glad they were that I was their patient. Well, I'm not, and won't be again. I have zero confidence in them or their system, and their attitude sucks. I'm no snowflake, they really were that bad. It was GRO that took care of cataracts in both of my eyes and all went swimmingly, but that was twenty years ago. They've gone downhill big time in my opinion, and there are better choices. read more

They were very rude and treated me like I was stupid and told me to show up sooner, even tho I got there early? Wtf, and then they refused to take me back. I will not be going here again, this place should be such down, they are all just super judgmental. read more

Elderly beware. This place says they give you "20%" off the retail value. Legally I spoke with Medicare and Medicaid and it's fraud. They have to offer the same deals and prices to everyone across the board. Go elsewhere as they will jack the prices up and say they gave you a deal. read more

The Greenville team at G.R. Ophthalmology rocks! Dr. Hollenbeck and her crew are very professional and treat you like family. They are great at the eye exam, but what I appreciate the most is their consultation on contacts/glasses options. They are really interested in what is best for their patients. Thanks! read more

Dr Weber has been very faithful in working with my eye problem. Although the surgery went fine, the swelling in my eye has not gone down so vision in my eye remains blurry. Dr. Weber has had me come in once or twice a week to check the progress. He has changed the drops and amount of drops to try to find a combination that will help the process go faster. Won't go back there...went there for over 16 years. Lately the service/billing is unacceptable. We paid for our eye exam, as soon as we arrived, as they require. We then purchase our new glasses, paid for them in full too. When we went back a week later to pick them up, a $10.00 balance was due on both pairs. When I showed them our receipt, they said they'd correct it. But about 9 months later, we started receiving statements on this. Called numerous times....finally sent a registered letter and backup fax. Never heard from them again. But am not willing to go through this again! read more
