Jennifer greeted me as soon as I came in and ended up finding out one of the reasons I was there was that my current glasses were hurting my face as it had been 2 years since my last checkup. I ended up getting to see an optometrist that day but before any of that Jennifer fixed and cleaned my current glasses while she checked their prescription. While I wait for my new glasses to arrive I can wear my current ones without the pain they've been causing! I was so thankful! This optometrist is also great because they don't have that horrible machine that puffs air into your eye as a test anymore! They've replaced it with a much quicker, painless, air-puff free machine! I called ahead to prevent any trouble when my son went by himself--yet, he left without a prescription for his new glasses and they had turned him away not able to find insurance info. I had called ahead THAT DAY. Now I'm am trying to obtain a copy of said Rx so he can get glasses elsewhere. It's been a week since Person A said she put it in the mail. Today Person B said the Rx can't be sent yet because it's not signed by the doctor... it's time to move on, unfortunately.

I had to go back to this doctor and get information that I should have gotten upfront. The sales department at this location is equally bad but I guess expecting competency at a Walmart is crazy. Staff greeted me, cleaned my chair, and took me to quiet area to fill out forms. About five minutes later the Doctor came to greet me and perform my diabetic eye exam. He wore a face mask during my exam, which made me feel better. The doctor was very friendly, asked me many questions and answered me with respect. I had a few questions on my own and he was very helpful; I did not feel I was "talked-down" to. The cost for the service was the best in town, only $57, worth the price, as other clinics in the area charged $30-35 more. Purchasing eye glasses and frames were not available at this time due to COVID. I was able to walk out with my prescription; I will order my frames and glasses on-line at a later date. I would highly recommend this service.
