Now that you have Giant Eagle taking over, it's all the GetGo brand. Access to this particular location is a breeze if you are heading westbound on 22; however, heading east on 22, it is almost impossible to cross the highway to enter their property. So do be careful, or just go the extra feet up to the light and do a U-turn. I would say this is an easy in and out store, but with them just taking over the building and not remodeling or tearing down and building anew, it is set up a little differently.

It has been MONTHS since they have hot and ready breakfast foods out in the morning between 7-8. I asked if they werent doing hot and ready breakfast anymore and the cashier said well yeah I'll just ask them to make you one. It is a huge location with plenty of pumps to get gas from. The inside of the store is much bigger the one in town. More of a selection and even a seating area if you don't feel like taking your items to go. Great for a quick stop if you need to just get gas and keep going.

I suppose the whole reason I actually stopped here this time is because I was a passenger in the car. It is your run of the mill gas station if that is why you stopped in the first place. Hop out at one of the many pumps and do your thing. Pay at the pump, fuel up, and continue on. Inside, if you go in to use the convenience store portion of the building, it is just that. It is dimly lit, sparse on the items, and functions the best way that it knows how to. The interesting part about this is that Dunkin' takes up part of the space. That is another review, which I have already done. That might be the only downside to this. With Dunkin' being here, it can cause a bit of congestion with people using the drive thru. People just don't understand the flow of this place as you have a drive thru that adjoins the parking lot and pumping islands.

Ebensburg was just a short drive for use growing up and almost always a stopping point on my journeys when I started to move further out. I suppose you can say that this Sunoco almost sits at the center of the town. A mere block or so from the County Courthouse and right next to the small corner park. The lot for this establishment is small, always has been, but it suffices. Side story: I remember once when I was younger and had just gotten my license I stopped here for gas and while pulling out hit the fence to the park...no damage, just made the fence shake a bit. I never go inside the store portion of this as I am usually only here for fuel and try to get on my way to where I need to be. Most recent travel through it was time to fuel up and I chose here. Pulled right in, scanned my card, pumped my fuel and was on my way. My Dad says that this location is usually the lowest for fuel in the Ebensburg area. There are other gas stations, but they are mostly near the highways, this one is right in town.

This is a long standing landmark along 22. You look up from the road and you see this…read moreestablishment and you kind of know where you are. You kind of get a sense of how much further you have to go, and in a pinch it can be a respite from your travel. This Uni-Mart houses not just the convenience store. This place offers Exxon gas to refuel your vehicle. It also offers Dunkin to refuel yourself. Being that so much is offered here, the lot can be a bit confusing to navigate when you are attempting to make a quick stop. Reason being is that they really did not put much consideration into to this place when they built in the first place, nor for what if might look like when they wanted to expand on what was offered. The latter had more to do with it than anything. When Dunkin was added to the mix here, they put in a drive thru. Let me tell you, if you were to park in a choice few spots and the drive thru is busy, take a moment to get caught up on something on your phone, you will be sitting for a while. You can also access Dunkin on the inside, but it appears very few people do that here. Speaking of inside, it is a mess. You can tell that this space was not designed to accommodate what it accommodates. It definitely was not meant to have a Dunkin in it, but here we are. It's the 90s gas station set up with the sloping windows at the front of the store portion with the registered occupying a rather big portion of the space. Dunkin takes up what it needs and then some. The convenience portion of this is kind of sparse, but seems to handle a lot of what is considered essential in a setting like this. One bright side in this place is the employees, they are friendly and fast. They do get into a conversation with one another and sometimes forget they are working. I'm going to be honest, I usually do not come here when I am in the area because there are several other places to stop that are a lot more convenient.
